DR-FNNs를 이용한 리니어 모터 기반 컨테이너 이송시스템의 위치제어 (Position Control of Linear Motor-based Container Transfer System using DR-FNNs)

  • 본 논문에서는 항만 자동화를 위해 새로이 제안된 리니어 모터 기반 컨테이너 이송시스템에 지능제어기법을 이용하여 그 정밀도를 향상시키고자 한다. LMCTS(Linear Motor-based Container Transfer System)는 스케일의 거대함 때문에 일반 리니어 모터에서 중요시 되지 않는 정지마찰력과 디텐트럭(detent force)이 정밀제어에 큰 문제가 된다. 특히, 컨테이너 적제유무에 따라 시스템 자체가 급격히 변하므로 기존의 PID형 제어기로는 좋은 성능을 얻기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 같은 구조를 갖는 두 개의 DR-FNN(Dynamically- constructed Recurrent Fuzzy Neural Network)를 제어기와 에뮬레이터로 구성하여 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 하였다.

비소세포폐암에서 DR5 TRAIL 수용체와 p53에 관한 면역조직화학적 분석 (Immunohistochemical Analysis for the Expression of DR5 TRAIL Receptor and p53 in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer)

  • 연구배경: TRAIL 은 death 수용체(DR4, DR5)와 decoy 수용체(DcR1, DcR2)라는 독특한 수용체 시스템 덕분에 정상세포는 보호하고 종양선택적 살상능을 가진 유망한 항암제로 주목받고 있다. DR5 TRAIL 수용체는 wild-type p53 세포에서 DNA 손상항암제인 doxorubicine에 의해 발현 유도되는 p53-조절 death 수용체 유전자로 처음에 발견되었다. 폐암 조직에서 이러한 DR5와 p53 발현에 관연 연구 보고는 많지 않다. 본 연구에서 비소세포폐암 조직에서 면역조직화학적 방법을 이용하여 DR5 발현과 p53과의 상관관계를 중심으로 분석하였다. 방법: Avidin-biotinylated horseradish peroxidase complex를 이용하여 89예의 수술적 절제된 비소세포폐암 포르말린 고정조직에서 면역조직화학적 염색을 시행하였다. 1차 항체로는 anti-DR5 polyclonal antibody (Pro Sci Inc., Poway, CA)와 anti-p53 monoclonal antibody (DO-7, Novocastra, Inc, Manhasset, NY)를 이용하였다. DR5 발현에 대한 면역조직화학적 판정은 면역염색의 범위와 강도를 합산하여 다음과 같이 판정하였다; 0, non-staining; 1+, weak and diffuse(>50%) or focal (<50%) or moderate and focal; 2+, strong and focal or moderate and diffuse ; 3+, strong and diffuse. 2+ 이상을 고발현(high expression)으로 분류하였다. p53 발현 정도에 따른 p53 wild type과 mutant type의 구분은 3+의 강양성인 경우를 mutant type으로 판정하였고, 나머지 0, 1+, 2+ 발현은 wild type p53으로 판정하였다. 결과: 주변 정상폐조직에서의 DR5발현은 기관지점막에서 89%의 고발현율을 보였으나, type I, II 폐상피세포, 림프구, 평활근세포 등의 정상 세포에서는 거의 발현되지 않았다. 폐암 조직에서 DR5 고발현율은 편평상피암에서 28% (15/53), 선암에서 47% (15/32), 대세포암에서 50% (2/4)의 빈도를 보여 전반적으로 36%의 고발현율을 보였다. DR5 고발현율은 임상병기, 생존기간 등 임상 지표와 유의한 상관관계를 보여주지 못하였지만 p53 발현과는 유의한 역상관관계를 보여주었다. 결론: 비소세포폐암 조직에서 면역조직화학적 분석을 통하여 DR5 발현이 기관지점막을 제외하고는 종양 선택적임을 확인하였고 p53 발현과 유의한 역상관관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 이는 DR5가 p53 조절 유전자임을 in vivo에서 확인한 유력한 증거일 수 있다고 생각된다.

  • This paper presents the modeling and simulation studies, using PSCAD/EMTDC, for the operation of DR(Distributed Resources) connected to the power system. In this study, we model the DR operated in parallel with the distribution system and simulate several operation modes of DR.   • For efficient and accurate diagnosis of ultrasound images, the time gain compensation (TGC) and dynamic range (DR) control of the ultrasound echo signal are important. TGC is for compensating the attenuation of the ultrasound echo signal along the depth, and DR is used to control the image contrast. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for finding the optimized values of TGC and DR automatically. For TGC, the degree of compensation is determined along the depth based on the effective attenuation estimation of ultrasound signal. For DR optimization, we introduce a novel cost function on the basis of the characteristics of ultrasound image, which provides the minimum value at the optimal DR. Experiments have been performed by applying the proposed algorithm to a real US imaging system. The results show that the algorithm automatically can determine the values of TGC and DR in realtime so that the subjective quality of the corresponding US image may be good enough for diagnosis.

Methods for Adding Demand Response Capability to a Thermostatically Controlled Load with an Existing On-off Controller

  • A thermostatically controlled load (TCL) can be one of the most appropriate resources for demand response (DR) in a smart grid environment. DR capability can be effectively implemented in a TCL with various intelligent control methods. However, because traditional on-off control is still a commonly used method in a TCL, it is useful to develop a method for adding DR capability to the TCL with an existing on-off controller. As a specific realization of supervisory control for implementing DR capability in the TCL, two methods are proposed - a method involving the changing of a set point and a method involving the paralleling of an identified system without delay. The proposed methods are analyzed through the simulations with an electric heater for different power consumption levels in the on-state. Considerable cost benefit can be achieved with the proposed methods when compared with the case without DR. In addition, the observations suggest that a medium power consumption level, instead of the maximum power, in the on-state should be used for consistently obtaining the cost benefit without severe temperature deviation from the specified temperature range for DR.

우리나라 전력시장에서 경제성 DR의 NBT 및 낙찰 관계 분석 (A Study on Economic Demand Response NBT and Performance)

  • This paper analyzes the correlation between Net Benefit Test (NBT) and System marginal price (SMP), which has a significant impact on the allocation of demand response (DR) resources in resource scheduling and commitment (RSC) process, based on the performance data of the demand resource market which has been established in 2014. Demand resources compete with generation resources in the RSC process, and it is prescribed to use demand resources only when net benefit occurs. Analysis result shows that the larger the SMP than the Net Benefit Threshold Price (NBTP), the more the winning bid of demand response resource was. It is interpreted that the introduction of NBT in DR market is justified. The demand resource market has been steadily growing. It is required to expand the scope of resources up to the small-sized DR, and to expand the functionalities of demand resources not only in the current energy market but also in the reserve market in the future. In order for that, institutional improvements are required.

  • 최근 이동 객체의 위치 데이터를 이용하기 위한 무선 측위 기술과 모바일 컴퓨팅 기술이 급속도로 발전하였다. 이동 객체의 수가 많고 위치 획득 간격이 짧을수록 위치 데이터가 급격히 늘어나기 때문에 대용량의 위치 데이터 처리가 가능해야 하며, 위치 기반 서비스를 위한 다양한 시공간 인덱싱을 지원해야 하고, 또한 이동 객체의 불확실성 문제를 해결할 수 있어야 한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이동 객체의 위치 데이터를 효과적으로 갱신하면서 현재 데이터와 과거 데이터의 인덱싱을 지원하는 색인 구조로 3DR-tree 기법을 활용하여 색인시 노드간의 겹침을 보완하고 사장 공간을 줄이는 Rend 3DR-tree 기법을 제안한다.

Prevalence and Risk Factors of Diabetic Retinopathy in Diabetes People using Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey VII

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the prevalence and risk factors of diabetic retinopathy (DR) in people with diabetes mellitus (DM) using Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey VII (2017~2018). Methods: DM was defined as in two ways; 1) doctor's diagnosis (Group 1, n=549), 2) one of doctor's diagnosis, medication, or hyperglycemia (Group 2, n=849). The DR prevalence was measured as the prevalence proportion (%). Risk factors for developing DR were analyzed using multiple logistic regression, and odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated. Results: The prevalence of DR was 25.87% in Group 1 and 20.14% in Group 2. Risk factors for DR were identified as insulin therapy (Group 1: OR=5.31, Group 2: OR=5.27), DM duration ≥10 years (Group 1: OR=2.20, Group 2: OR=3.10), and systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg (Group 1: OR=2.26, Group 2: OR=2.23) for both groups. Conclusion: Considering the DR prevalence, eye examinations education is highly recommended as part of a diabetes management programs in the community. It is also proposed to shorten the eye examination cycle for people with risk factors and establish a referral system to link between screening to treatment.

  • LMTT(Linear Motor-based Transfer Technology) is horizontal transfer system in the maritime container terminal for the port automation. The system is modeled PMLSM(Permanent Magnetic Linear Synchronous Motor) that is consists of stator modules on the rail and shuttle car(mover). Because of large variant of movers weight by loading and unloading containers, the difference of each characteristic of stator modules, and a stator module's default etc., LMCS(Linear Motor Conveyance System) is considered as that the system is changed its model suddenly and variously. In this paper, we will introduce the soft-computing method of a multi-step prediction control for LMCS using DR-FNN(Dynamically Constructed Recurrent Fuzzy Neural Network). The proposed control system is used two networks for multi-step prediction. Consequently, the system has an ability to adapt for external disturbance, cogging force, force ripple, and sudden changes of itself.
