영국의 사용자 참여형 DQI 프로세스에 관한 연구 (Study on DQI Process of User Involved in U.K.)

  • At present, the necessity of new design guidelines, evaluation and operation system for school facilities are on the rise according to re-edition of school curriculum in Korea. Moreover, it is necessary to procedure of the design, an institutional device and an ex post facto evaluation system for school facilities as a public building with the space planning that is suitable for various situations, which are able to collect users' various demands and opinions. Under the present situation, England has introduced and operated DQI system for the users' participation design of its. The present study will derive the meaning DQI system of England and how to operate it, and percuss the possibility of the application of design procedure of the education facilities in Korea.

DQI와 단기 상대생장률 분석을 이용한 원통형 종이포트 토마토 접목묘의 우량묘 기준 설정 (An Approach to Determine the Good Seedling Quality of Grafted Tomatoes (Solanum Lycopersicum) Grown in Cylindrical Paper Pot Through the Relation Analysis between DQI and Short-Term Relative Growth Rate)

  • 3종의 일반토마토 '대프니스', '도태랑다이아', '마스카라'를 대목 'B블로킹'에 접목하고 접목 활착 후 10일부터 10일 간격으로 40일 까지 육묘용 표준양액(S)의 0.5S, 1,0S, 2,0S 로 시비수준 처리를 하였다. 각 시기별로 묘의 생육인자들을 조사하였고, 묘소질 지표인 TR율, 충실도, DQI를 계산하였다. 그리고 생육인자들과 묘소질 지표와의 상관관계를 분석하였고, 묘령별로 야간온도를 10, 15, $25^{\circ}C$를 목표로 3수준으로 처리하여 상대생장률(RGR)을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 토마토 접목묘의 양적인 생육인자들은 모두 시비농도가 높을수록 증가하였고, 다양한 크기 범위의 묘를 생산할 수 있었다. 그리고 묘의 바이오메스 관련 생육인자가 충실도와 DQI에 높은 정의상관이 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 충실도와 DQI의 고도로 유의한 1차 선형회귀식(($Y=-0.0256+0.0029^*X$, Adj $R^2=0.9480$, p<0.0001)이 도출되었다. 정식 후 2주간의 RGR은 묘령이 높아질수록 감소하는 경향을 보였고, 육묘기 시비수준에 따라서는 접목활착 후 30일묘와 40일묘에서 표준 시비수준 1.0S에서 RGR이 높았다. 시비수준별 육묘기 DQI와 정식후 초기 RGR과 유의한 선형회귀식을 도출하였으며, 표준 시비수준 1.0S에서 DQI가 높아짐에 따라 RGR이 높게 유지되었다. 이러한 결과는 DQI가 원통형 종이포트 토마토 접목묘의 묘소질의 지표로 이용될 수 있고, DQI와 정식 후 초기 상대생장률과의 관계분석을 통하여 우량묘의 기준 설정에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

An association between diet quality index for Koreans (DQI-K) and total mortality in Health Examinees Gem (HEXA-G) study

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Diet quality scores or indices, based on dietary guidelines, are used to summarize dietary intake into a single numeric variable. The aim of this study was to examine the association between the modified diet quality index for Koreans (DQI-K) and mortality among Health Examinees-Gem (HEXA-G) study participants. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The DQI-K was modified from the original diet quality index. A total of 134,547 participants (45,207 men and 89,340 women) from the HEXA-G study (2004 and 2013) were included. The DQI-K is based on eight components: 1) daily protein intake, 2) percent of energy from fat, 3) percent of energy from saturated fat, 4) daily cholesterol intake, 5) daily whole-grain intake, 6) daily fruit intake, 7) daily vegetable intake, and 8) daily sodium intake. The association between all-cause mortality and the DQI-K was examined using Cox proportional hazard regression models. Hazard ratios and confidence intervals were estimated after adjusting for age, gender, income, smoking status, alcohol drinking, body mass index, and total energy intake. RESULTS: The total DQI-K score was calculated by summing the scores of the eight components (range 0-9). In the multivariable adjusted models, with good diet quality (score 0-4) as a reference, poor diet quality (score 5-9) was associated with an increased risk of all-cause mortality (hazard ratios = 1.23, 95% confidence intervals = 1.06-1.43). Moreover, a one-unit increase in DQI-K score resulted in a 6% higher mortality risk. CONCLUSIONS: A poor diet quality DQI-K score was associated with an increased risk of mortality. The DQI-K in the present study may be used to assess the diet quality of Korean adults.

DQI의 참여도구적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Properties of the DQI as a Participation Tool)

  • This research suggests that the Design Quality Indicator for School(DQIfS) could be applied on the education facilities construction process not only as a building design assessment tool, but also as a participation tool. From the analyze of the background, the aims, the implementation processes and the case studies of the DQIfS, the results are: 1. DQI was formulated with the social requirement for the public participation in the public building design processes.; 2. DQI was articulated with the aim to involve the wide range of the stakeholders in the design processes, to hear the various opinions of the stakeholders, and to apply these opinions in the planning or the decision-making processes.; 3. In the implementation stage, it was found that the implementation methods of the DQIfS was devised to involve the wide range of the stakeholders. Moreover, the DQIfS has transformed its representation way to convey the results to the stakeholders and make a base for the discussion. 4. Through the case studies, it was found that the DQIfS was used with various participatory planning methods in the implementation process. Furthermore, the DQIfS was used as a main method to provide the basis of the discussion about the educational facility design. Thus, it could be concluded that DQIfS is a specialized participation tool for making participatory processes in the educational building design processes.
