HTML Text Extraction Using Tag Path and Text Appearance Frequency (태그 경로 및 텍스트 출현 빈도를 이용한 HTML 본문 추출)

  • In order to accurately extract the necessary text from the web page, the method of specifying the tag and style attributes where the main contents exist to the web crawler has a problem in that the logic for extracting the main contents. This method needs to be modified whenever the web page configuration is changed. In order to solve this problem, the method of extracting the text by analyzing the frequency of appearance of the text proposed in the previous study had a limitation in that the performance deviation was large depending on the collection channel of the web page. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed a method of extracting texts with high accuracy from various collection channels by analyzing not only the frequency of appearance of text but also parent tag paths of text nodes extracted from the DOM tree of web pages.

  • Based on a single juvenile specimen (20.7 mm SL) collected from Jeju Island, Apogon semiornatus was described as a new Korean record. The species is characterized by having VI-I, 9 dorsal fin rays, 12 pectoral fin rays; II, 8 anal fin rays and two blackish oblique bands on yellowish red body. A new Korean name, "Geom-eun-du-jul-bulg-eun-dong-gal-dom", is proposed.

XML-Based Network Management for IP Networks

  • XML-based network management, which applies XML technologies to network management, has been proposed as an alternative to existing network management. The use of XML in network management offers many advantages. However, most existing network devices are already embedded with simple network management protocol (SNMP) agents and managed by SNMP managers. For integrated network management, we present the architectures of an XML-based manager, an XML-based agent, and an XML/SNMP gateway for legacy SNMP agents. We describe our experience of developing an XML-based network management system (XNMS), XML-based agent, and an XML/SNMP gateway. We also verify the effectiveness of our XML-based agent and XML/SNMP gateway through performance tests. Our experience with developing XNMS and XML-based agents can be used as a guideline for development of XML-based management systems that fully take advantage of the strengths of XML technologies.

A Study on Foreign Direct Investment by Korean Fishery Firms (우리나라 해외어업투자의 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study has made an attempt to analyze the determinants of Foreign Direct Investment (FFI) by Korean Fishery firms. The questionaire survey on individual firm's recognition and the determinants of Foreign Fishery Investment (FFI) was performed, yielding the following results. First, the main object of FFI is to reserve fishing ground. The result of the statistical analysis shows that import ratio for domestic market (DOM) is a significant variable of FFI. These two facts indicate our FFI is resouree-oriented in terms of the object and motive. Second, FFI is primaily determined by firm-related factors rather than country- related factors. The significant variable in firm-related factfors is the number of departments of the investing firm (DEPT). Another notable result is that fishing fee is not an influential variable in FFI decision.

  • The exchange of model design data among heterogeneous CAD systems is very difficult because each CAD system has different data structures suitable for its own functions. STEP represents product information in a common computer-interpretable form that is required to remain complete and consistent when the product information is needed to be exchanged among different computer systems. However, STEP has complex architecture to represent point, line, curve and vectors of element. Moreover it can't represent geometry data of feature based models. In this study, a structure of XML document that represents geometry data of feature based models as neutral format has been developed. To use the developed XML document, a converter also has been developed to exchange modules so that it can exchange feature based data models among heterogeneous CAD systems. Developed XML document and Converter have been applied to commercial CAD systems.

  • The convergence of finite volume method (FVM) or discrete ordinate method (DOM) is known to degrade for optical thickness greater than unity and large scattering albedo. The present article presents a convergence acceleration procedure for the FVM based on a full approximation storage (FAS) multigrid method. Among a variety of multigrid cycles, the V-cycle is used and the full multigrid algorithm (FMG) is applied to an analysis of radiation in irregular two-dimensional geometry. Solution convergence is discussed for the several cases of various optical thickness and scattering albedo. At small scattering albedo and optical thickness, there is no advantage to using the multigrid method for calculation CPU time. For large scattering albedo greater than 0.5 and optical thickness greater than unity, however, the multigrid method improves the convergence and the solution is rapidly obtained.

Estimation of Environmental Characteristics for Deep Ocean Water Development Site Using Ecological Model (생태모델을 이용한 해상형 해양심층수 사업해역의 환경 특성 평가)

  • A ecosystem model was applied for understanding of circulation process of state variables in marine ecosystem. A mass balance was conducted by calculating the physical process. The sensitivity analysis was conducted to know which coefficient is the most effective factor to the state variables in the model. The results of the mass balance indicate that the primary production was 58.6 ton C/day in the case of mass flux. DIN and DIP in nutrient ingestion of phytoplankton were each 7.9 ton N/day, 1.1 ton P/day. POC and DOC in mineralization of organic matter were each 10.8 ton C/day, 40.6 ton C/day. The results of sensitivity analysis showed that the maximum growth rate of phytoplankton was the most important factor for overall state variables. In the case of nutrients, Half saturation constant of DIN, and mineralization rate of DOM for COD were important factor.

  • 현재 기업은 다양한 고객 요구사항을 충족시켜가면서 급속하게 발전하는 기술을 습득하고 발전과 경쟁력 확보를 위해, 협력 업체들과 연계관계를 유지하는 네트워크 형태의 공급사슬을 형성하고 있다. 공급사슬이 성공적으로 유지되기 위해서는 효율적인 정보교환이 필요한데, 기존의 EDI 시스템으로는 구축의 비용과 복잡성, 향후 발전방향에 불확실성 등의 문제점이 있기 때문에 SCM의 통합솔루션을 구축하기 위해서는 새로운 데이터 포맷이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 XML로 새로운 데이터 교환의 포맷을 정의하고, SCM 환경의 데이터 인터페이스 부분을 XML의 데이터베이스 스키마 정보를 이용하는 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 수주를 받고 다른 협력업체로 발주하는 시나리오는 다음과 같이 구성한다. 먼저 Web환경의 클라이언트에서 XML DOM객체를 이용하여 ADODB 서버로부터 XML 수주정보 파일을 생성하고, ERP 서버에서는 수주정보의 XML 파일을 ERP 서버에 저장한다. 저장된 수주정보를 이용하여 납기확약을 위한 생산계획과 구매계획을 세우고, 구매계획이 세워지면 다른 협력업체의 Web 서버로 발주정보를 보낸다.

  • 개인자료교환의 방법 중 가장 보편화된 것이 이메일임에도 불구하고, 기존의 웹메일이나 클라이언트 프로그램 등의 UA(UserAgent)는 운영자 임의의 고정적인 인터페이스, 서버접속에 의한 메일 데이터 조작 등으로 활용범위를 좁혀놓았다. 이메일 사용에서 한층 더 나아가 사용자가 보다 효과적으로 이메일 정보를 활용하고 재사용이 가능하도록 하는 시스템을 개발하는 것이 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 이메일정보를 SMTP/MIME표준을 XML표준형식으로 변환/저장하여 사용자가 이메일정보를 다양한 어플리케이션에서 황용하고 재 사용한 수 있도록 하였다. 최근 발전하고 있는 XML기술과 ASP기반의 웹 메일을 통하여 기존에 웹메일 사용자들에게 친숙한 인터페이스를 제공하고, 이메일을 XML로 변환하고 변환된 XML문서를 XML을 이용하여 사용자 취향에 맞게 재구성한 수 있게 하였다. DOM API를 사용하여 변환된 XML파일을 조합하고, DB가 없이 파일로 관리하여 개인사용자가 이메일정보를 소장할 수 있게 하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 SNMP 기반의 네트웍 관리자가 피관리 요소들에서 MIB을 구성하는 변수들을 동적으로 선택하기 쉽게 할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 즉, 우리는 XML과 자바 코드를 사용하여 실시간으로 MIB을 확장함으로써 SNMP 에이전트의 실시간 확장을 용이하게 하는 구조를 설계한다. 우리가 설계한 XML 기반 SNMP MIB 확장 구조는 관리 방법을 채택한다. 실시간으로 MIB을 기술하기 위해 XML과 DOM을 사용 자바 기반의 네트워크와 관리방법을 채택한다. 이 방법은 MIB이 직렬화 되어 관리자와 에이전트간의 네트워크 상으로 전달될 수 있도록 해준다. 또한 XML의 사용은 MIB이 쉽게 탐색되고 관리 태스크들을 위한 온라인 문서와 자유롭게 통합될 수 있도록 한다. 더 나아가서 XML은 다른 정보 모델을 사용하는 네트웍 관리 응용들간의 데이터 교환이 쉽도록 할 것이다.
