용존산소의 변화에 따른 바지락 (Ruditapes philippinarum)의 생리적 반응 (Effects of the Dissolved Oxygen Concentration on the Physiology of the Manila clam, Ruditapes philippinarum)

  • 바지락의 용존산소 농도에 따른 SFG (Scope for growth)의 변화를 알아보기 위하여 수온 $23\pm0.5^{\circ}C$와 일반해수에서 반수치사농도, 여수율, 호흡률, 암모니아 질소배설률 및 동화효율 등을 측정하였다. 바지락의 용존산소 농도의 감소에 따른 $LC_{50}$은 2.4mgDO$L^{-1}$였다. 여수율과 호흡률은 실험용액의 용존산소의 감소에 따라 대체로 감소하는 경향을 보인 반면, 암모니아 질소 배설률은 용존산소의 감소에 따라 증가하였다. 동화효율은 6.5mgDO $L^{-1}$에서는 $68.2\%$였으며, 3.5 mgDO $L^{-1}$ 이하의 농도에서는$29.8\~39.3\%$로 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 용존산소의 농도에 따른 SFG는 2.5mgDO $L^{-1}$ 이상에서는 양의 값을 나타내어 생존 및 성장이 가능한 것으로 나타났다.

전통 민속주의 생리기능성 탐색 (Characterization of Physiological Functionalities in Korean Traditional Liquors)

  • 전통 민속주의 이화학적 특성과 생리 기능성을 조사하였다. 이들의 조단백질 함량은 $0.15{\sim}10.97%$이었고 pH는 $3.5{\sim}5.0$이었으며 경기도 YA 민속주가 약 14%의 당을 함유하고 있었다. 또한 ACE 저해 활성은 전라도 SO-주가 87.2%로 가장 높았고 혈전 용해활성은 경기도 HO-주가 가장 높았다. 전자공여능과 SOD 유사활성은 각각 충청도 SA-주 85.5%와 경기도 OK-주 70.7%이었으며 tyrosinase 저해 활성은 경상도 KO-주와 전라도 TO-주 및 경기도 CH-주에서 높았으며 아질산염 소거활성은 전라도 TO-주에서 높았다.

An Architecture Supporting Adaptation and Evolution in Fourth Generation Mobile Communication Systems

  • A major challenge for next generation mobile communication is capturing the system architecture’s complexity with all its internal and external dependencies. Seamless integration of heterogeneous environments in all system parts is a key requirement. Moreover, future systems have to consider the different evolution cycles of individual system parts. Among those, services are expected to change the fastest. With respect to these considerations, we propose an overall architecture for next generation mobile communication systems. It covers all system parts from wireless transmission to applications including network and middleware platform. Our approach focuses on adaptability in terms of recon- figurability and programmability to support unanticipated system evolution. Therefore, we consider abstraction layers which consist of adaptable cooperating components grouped by open platforms rather than rigid system layers. In addition to that, we introduce cross-layer cooperation allowing an efficient use of the available resources. Specific scenarios illustrate the feasibility of our approach.

Traffic Seasonality aware Threshold Adjustment for Effective Source-side DoS Attack Detection

  • In order to detect Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, victim-side detection methods are used popularly such as static threshold-based method and machine learning-based method. However, as DoS attacking methods become more sophisticated, these methods reveal some natural disadvantages such as the late detection and the difficulty of tracing back attackers. Recently, in order to mitigate these drawbacks, source-side DoS detection methods have been researched. But, the source-side DoS detection methods have limitations if the volume of attack traffic is relatively very small and it is blended into legitimate traffic. Especially, with the subtle attack traffic, DoS detection methods may suffer from high false positive, considering legitimate traffic as attack traffic. In this paper, we propose an effective source-side DoS detection method with traffic seasonality aware adaptive threshold. The threshold of detecting DoS attack is adjusted adaptively to the fluctuated legitimate traffic in order to detect subtle attack traffic. Moreover, by understanding the seasonality of legitimate traffic, the threshold can be updated more carefully even though subtle attack happens and it helps to achieve low false positive. The extensive evaluation with the real traffic logs presents that the proposed method achieves very high detection rate over 90% with low false positive rate down to 5%.

해상가두리 어류양식업의 지역별 어종별 생산성 분석 (Productivity Analysis by Region and Species of Fish Cage-culture)

  • This study is aimed to figure out the productivity and variability of cage-aquaculture changes. According to the analysis, the productivity of major fish species has been increasing, except mullet. Although the regional productivity has decreased in the last two years, it has been on the rise considering as a whole. Gyeongsangnam-do showed the highest level of productivity by region. Productivity by species was also higher than other regions in the cases of rock fish, mullet and sea bream followed by productivity of Chungcheongnam-do. The production of marine cage-culture in Jeollanam-do is the second largest in Korea in value/weight while its productivity is lower than that of Chungcheongnam-do. When it comes to comparison by region, Gyeongsangnam-do shows the lowest productivity variation. And Jeollanam-do shows the second-lowest variation in productivity that is only about half of that of Chungcheongnam-do province. Thus, it is found that Jeollanam-do region has an advantage in management stability while its productivity is low. On the other hand, productivity by species was also analyzed. Gyeongsangnam-do has the highest productivity by species for rock fish, mullet and sea bream whereas rock bream productivity is the highest in Jeollanam-do. Therefore, it probably needs to reflect these results when choosing regional-focused incubation fish species.

Long Short Term Memory 모델 기반 Case Study를 통한 낙동강 하구역의 용존산소농도 예측 (Prediction of DO Concentration in Nakdong River Estuary through Case Study Based on Long Short Term Memory Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 LSTM 모델을 활용하여 낙동강 하구역의 DO 농도 예측을 위한 최적 모델 조건과 적합한 예측변수를 찾기 위한 Case study를 수행하였다. 모델 매개변수 case study 결과, Epoch = 300과 Sequence length = 1에서 상대적으로 높은 정확도를 보였다. 예측변수 case study 결과, DO와 수온을 예측변수로 했을 때 가장 높은 정확도를 보였으며, 이는 DO 농도와 수온의 높은 상관성에 기인한 것으로 판단된다. 상기 결과로부터 낙동강 하구역의 DO 농도 예측에 적합한 LSTM 모델 조건과 예측변수를 찾을 수 있었다.

활성슬러지 폐수처리장 폭기조 DO제어를 위한 퍼지 제어 알고리즘 연구 (Fuzzy algorithm of Automatic control for dissolved oxygen in Activated sludge aeration tank)

  • Fuzzy algorithm of automatic control for dissolved oxygen(DO) concentration in the aeration tank of an activated sludge process is proposed. Among variables repirometry and air flowrate are selected as significant input factors and the relationship with DO is estimated using a multiple regression model. The DO concentration and the amount of repirometry are fuzzified and the fuzzy rule base are determined. Using the fuzzy algorithm, the change of amount of air flowrate are determined and the change of amount of DO is derived.
