  • In this research, I analyze cases of character packages in Japane, extract the concept of design that was loved by consumers and inmates and succeeded in marketing, and aim to establish the logic and principle. In addition, in the future, when introducing and utilizing the character package design in Korea, this research intends to make a guideline for the development of objective validity and empathic package design. After identifying the design concept and finding the principle by targeting package design of five character of Tohato which mixed various media and expanded sales, I want to find out the cause of success. Therefore, I have studied the theory and principles of enterprise and creative in product strategy through case analysis of character design concept and character package design. As a result, a design that leaving the functional side, having a story, making memories, and inducing a sense of closeness was as a successful case of renewal. In the package design, in some cases, package design execution is more important under the theoretical system according to consumer behavior analysis and Promotion of bold design concept of the design for the success of that concept, deviated from the existing principle.

  • In this paper, a new efficient SMPS has been designed and implemented. It can replace the existing product that is widely used in industry. To investigate the performance of the conventional SMPS, the output voltage changes due to variations in the input voltage and the load conditions, and the ripple and noise voltages have been measured and analyzed. As a result, it has been confirmed that the noise in the conventional SMPS is severe due to the deficiency of patterns for current. This is because the conventional SMPS draw out all outputs using one transformer and the alarm logic exists in the output path. To solve this problem, the switching frequency is increased from 17KHz to 70KHz and the current patterns are fully guaranteed by separating the alarm circuit and PWM circuit as a sub-board from the main board. Measurement results shows that the output noise of the designed SMPS decreases below 32% of the conventional SMPS noise for various test conditions, and both the line and load regulations are improved.

  • A dynamic mathematical model of a thermal power plant with a single drum-type boiler is described with the base on modular concept. The present process model, which is including full scope of the components and high load changes, is based on physical approach through lumped parameters. The module, which means a component of the power plant and must essentially depict the characteristics of the component well, might be interconnected using pressure nodal method in a arrangement determined by users. With the results of the load changes of 75 MW to 95 MW and 95MW to 75 MW with the rate of 3 MW/min, the applicability of the process model is examined connecting to DCS(Dispersion Control System), which has a real running logic of 100 MW real power plant.

  • The use of RaspberryPi in building an embedded system may be difficult for users in understanding the circuit and the hardware cost. This paper proposes a solution that can test the systems virtually. The solution consists of three elements; (i) editor, (ii) interpreter and (iii) simulator and provides nine full modules and also allows the users to configure/run/test their own circuits like real environment. The task of abstraction for modules through the actual circuit test was carried out on the basis of the data sheet and the specification provided by the manufacturer. If we can improve the level of quality of our solution, it can be useful in terms of cost reduction and easy learning. To achieve this end, the electrical physics engine, the level of interpreter that can be ported to the actual board, and a generalization of the simulation logic are required.
