XLPE 케이블의 전기트리 열화에 따른 전기적 특성 검토 (A Study on the Electrical Properties of Electrical Tree Degradation in XLPE Cable Insulation)

  • In order to improve the reliability of XLPE cables, it is necessary to understand the mechanism of electrical and water tree degradation. Especially, electrical tree initiation and propagation are important in XLPE cable insulation. This paper deals with the changes of electrical properties of XLPE cable insulation with electrical tree degradation. To understand the electrical properties of XLPE insulation, specimens were prepared by 22.9kV distribution cable and made in a type of block. Ogura needles having tip radius of 10${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ were inserted into each block pieces. AC voltages of 8kV, 10kV and 12kV at 60Hz were applied to needle. We investigated the relationship between electrical properties(PD quantity, tan$\delta$ and DC current) and the growth of electrical tree. The electrical properties of the specimens were measured from initiation of tree to breakdown and their characteristics were analyzed.

한우 도체에 대한 전기자극 및 지연냉각이 쇠고기의 이화학적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Electrical Stimulation and Delayed Chilling on the Physicochemical Characteristics of Hanwoo Beef)

  • These experiments were carried out to investigate the effects of electrical stimulation(ES) and delayed chilling (DC) on the quality characteristics of Hanwoo beef. The left half carcass was treated with ES(550V, 90sec)within postmortem 30min. The electrical stimulated half carcass was subjected to chilling at 16$^{\circ}C$ for 24hr, and then stored at 2$\pm$2$^{\circ}C$ for 15days (ESDC). The right half carcass was stored at 2$\pm$2$^{\circ}C$ for 15 days (NES). ESDC showed a rapid pH fall and tended to reach to pH5.54 at postmortem 2 hrs. But, there was no consistent effect of electrical stimulation and delayed chilling on meat color, cooking loss and water holding capacity. Myofibril fragmentation index was higher than that of NES during storage. ESDC showed lower shear force value and strength consistently than NES. SDS-PAGE band patterns of myofibrils showed the rapid breakdown of troponin T and troponin I band in ESDC, compared with NES, and revealed the specific band below myosin light chain-2 pattern in ESDC.

강유전체를 적용한 무기전계발광소자의 광전특성연구 (The Study of opto-electrics characteristics of Inorganic EL(Electro luminescent) Device with combination of high dielectric constant layer)

  • 무기EL 디스플레이는 고체재료에 전계를 가했을 때 발광하는 현상을 이용한소자로서, 급속도로 발전을 거듭하고 있으나, 유전체층에 강한전계를 가하여 발광하여야 하므로 낮은 Breakdown voltage와 효율의 한계로 인하여 휘도가 낮고 풀 컬러화 디스플레이 등 의 응용에는 적용되고 있지 못하는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 강유전체 Perovskite 구조를 가지는 ABO3 물질 중 PMN(Lead Magnesium niobate) 과 PZT (Lead Zirconate titanate) 후막을 제조하여 Inorganic EL(Electro Luminance)에 적용하고 소자의 광전특성을 평가하였다. 소자에 사용된 기판은 고온소성에 알맞은 알루미나(Al2O3)기판을 채택 하였으며, 그 위 하부전극으로는 고온소성에 따른 화학적 안정성이 우수한 Au전극을 Screen Printing 하였다. 제조 되어진 PMN후막 페이스트는 PMN(Pb(Mg1/2 Nb2/3)O3) + Glass Frit(Pb-Zn-B) + BaTiO3(99.99%) 로 합성되었으며 하부전극위에 인쇄하였다. 그 다음 PZT sol-gel을 Spin coating으로 도포 하였다. 형광체로 ZnS:Cu.Cl 을 Screen Printing을로 형성하였으며, 평탄화를 위하여 유기물 충을 Screen Printing 공정으로 성막 하였다. 상부전극으로는 DC sputter로 ITO를 증착하여 EL소자 완성 후 Spectro - Chroma meter로 소자특성을 측정하였다. 평탄화를 통한 유기물층에 변화되는 Capacitance를 Oscilloscope로 전압 전류 pulse의 변화에 따른 opto-electronic 특성을 평가하였다.

전기장하에서의 담배 및 완두 원형질체 융합 (Electrofusion of Tobacco and Pea Protoplasts)

  • Intra- and inter-specific protoplast fusion of tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum cv. Virginia 115) and pea (Pisum sativum cv. Sparkle) were carried out in highly inhomogeneous alternating electric fields. Under the electric field of alternating current (AC, sine wave), 600 V/cm and 800 kHz for tobacco protoplast, and 600 V/cm and 700 kHz for pea protoplasts, the protoplasts were aggregated in pearl chains. Intra-specific protoplast fusions were most effectively induced within the aggregates of tobacco and pea, respectively, by the additional application of a single high field pulse of direct current (DC, square wave) at 1 kV/cm for 50 $mutextrm{s}$. Inter-specific fusions between protoplasts of the two plants were most effectively induced in the electric field of 600 V/cm and 700 kHz, and square wave pulse at 1 kV/cm for 50 $mutextrm{s}$. The duration of the pulse over the electrical breakdown voltages was simulated from 1 to 100 $mutextrm{s}$ in both tobacco and pea protoplast. The yield of the electrofusion products was significantly high (above 60%), compared with that (20%) of the standard fusion method by polyethylene glycol (PEG) 4,000, and the viability of electrofused protoplasts was above 70%, but that of PEG-fused protoplasts 8~16%, when determined by Evan's blue staining method.

  • The purpose of this experiment is to modify diagnosis criterion of isothermal relaxation current(IRC) measurement equipment which is using for distribution cable diagnosis. We're using this system for several years in the field instead of DC leakage current measurement and lots of cables were replaced. But we have to investigate on the reliability of this equipment for our cables because we didn't carried out condition assessment of extracted cables after field diagnosis by this equipment. It is important thing for cable maintenance. If the replacement criterion is improper we can not prevent failures or will waste budget on account of replacement of the sound cables. In this papar we selected field installed cables and injected silicone fluid to the cables for insulation rehabilitation. In order to prove reliability of the diagnosis equipment we compared diagnosis results and AC breakdown strength according to operating time after silicone treatment. This is the results of the field test for 1 year.

Direct-drive를 활용한 소형 연속 도약 로봇 및 DC모터의 열 모델을 통한 한계 분석 (Hopping Robot Using Direct-drive Method and Thermal Modeling to Analyze Motor Limitation)

  • A hopping robot can move through a confined environment while overcoming obstacles. To create a small hopping robot, it must be able to generate a large amount of energy and release it at the same time. However, due to the small size of the robot, there is a limit to the size of the actuator that can be used, so it is mainly used to collect energy in an elastic element and release it at once. In this paper, we propose a small hopping robot with a simplified design by removing ancillary parts and enabling continuous hopping using only a small actuator based on a direct-drive method. In addition, repeated actuation over the rated voltage can cause thermal breakdown of the actuator. To check the safety of the actuator at high voltage, we perform modeling to predict the temperature of the actuator and verify the accuracy of the modeling through experiments.

  • 표준 CMOS 공정에서 제작 가능한 보호용 싸이리스터 소자와 다이오드 소자를 사용하는 RF IC용 두 가지 입력 ESD 보호회로 방식을 대상으로, 2차원 소자 시뮬레이터를 이용하는 DC 해석, 혼합모드 과도해석 및 AC 해석을 통해 보호용 소자내 격자온도 상승 및 입력버퍼단의 게이트 산화막 인가전압 측면에서의 HBM ESD 보호강도에 대한 심도있는 비교 분석을 시도한다. 이를 위해, 입력 ESD 보호회로가 장착된 CMOS 칩의 입력 HBM 테스트 상황에 대한 등가회로를 구성하고, 5가지 HBM 테스트 모드에 대해 최대 6개의 보호용 소자를 포함하는 혼합모드 과도 시뮬레이션을 시행하고 그 결과를 분석함으로써 실제 테스트에서 발생할 수 있는 문제점들에 대한 상세한 분석을 시도한다. 이 과정에서 보호용 소자 내 바이폴라 트랜지스터의 트리거를 수월케 하는 방안을 제안하며, 두 가지 보호회로 방식에서 내부회로의 게이트 산화막 파괴는 보호용 소자 내에 존재하는 NMOS 구조의 접합 항복전압에 의해 결정됨을 규명한다. RF IC용 입력 보호회로로서의 두 가지 보호방식의 특성 차이에 대해 설명하는 한편, 각 보호용 소자와 회로의 설계와 관련되는 유용한 기준을 제시한다.

가속열화 된 CSPE의 경화특성에 미치는 해수 담수 침지의 영향 (Effects of Seawater & Freshwater Soaking on the Cure Properties of Accelerated Thermally Aged CSPE)

  • The accelerated thermal aging of CSPE (chlorosulfonated polyethylene) was carried out for 33.64 and 67.27 days at 110[$^{\circ}C$], equivalent to 40 and 80 years of aging at 50[$^{\circ}C$], respectively. These samples were referred to as CSPE-0y, CSPE-40y and CSPE-80y, respectively. As the accelerated thermally aged years of the CSPE increase, the insulation resistance[$\Omega$] at 20[Hz], 500[Hz], and 2[KHz], and the percent elongation [%EL] of the CSPE decrease. However, the dissipation factor($tan{\delta}$) at 20[Hz], 500[Hz], and 2[KHz], the apparent density[$g/cm^3$], the glass transition temperature and the melting temperature of the CSPE were increased. The period of time that the voltage has to be applied until electric breakdown of the CSPE-0y is longer than that of the CSPE-40y, and the CSPE-80y, but the dielectric strength of the CSPE-80y is lower than that of the CSPE-0y and the CSPE-40y. The differential temperatures after the AC and DC voltages are applied to CSPE-0y, CSPE-40y and CSPE-80y are 0.026~0.028[$^{\circ}C$], 0.030~0.042[$^{\circ}C$], 0.018~0.045[$^{\circ}C$], respectively. The variations of temperature for the AC voltage are higher than those for the DC voltage when an AC voltage is applied to CSPE-0y, CSPE-40y and CSPE-80y. It is found that the dielectric loss owing to the dissipation factor[$tan{\delta}$] is related to the electric dipole conduction current. It is ascertained that the ionic (electron or hole) leakage current is increased by the separation of the branch chain of CSPE polymer from the main chain of the polyethylene as a result of thermal stress due to accelerated thermal aging as well as by conducting ions such as $Na^+$, $Cl^-$, $Mg^{2+}$, $SO_4^{2-}$, $Ca^{2+}$ and $K^+$ after seawater soaking.

연소화염에 의한 수평배치 공기갭의 섬락전압 특성 (Flashover Characteristics of the Horizontal Air Gaps Caused by Combustion Flames)

  • 본 연구에서는 불평등 전계인 침대침 갭을 수평배치하였을 때, 고전압 전극 부근에 설치한 화염에 의한 교류 및 직류 섬락전압 특성을 조사하였다. 화염에 의해 섬락이 발생할 때, 코로나 개시전압과 섬락극성을 조사하기 위해 전압 및 전류파형을 측정하였으며, 인가전압의 상승에 따른 코로나풍과 쿨롱력에 의한 화염의 형상이 왜곡되고 요동되는 현상을 관찰하였다. 실험 결과, 화염이 전극의 중간위치에 있을 때 화염에 의한 교류 섬락전압은 화염이 없는 경우에 비해 평균 62.7[%] 저하된 것으로 나타났으며, 화염의 높이에 따른 섬락전압의 특성에서 화염의 높이 h=5, h=7 및 h=9[cm]인 경우 교류 섬락전압의 평균값은 화염이 없을 때에 비해 각각 34.2[%], 27.3[%] 및 21.4[%] 저하된 것으로 나타났다.
