  • The pole placement technique for control design of the current mode controlled DC-DC switchmode power converter is proposed. It is compared with conventional transfer function analysis. Using the pole placement technique control design automation algorithm, by computer-based tool is presented. Control design example with large signal simulation is shown.

  • 본 논문에서는 가변속 교류 전동기 구동에 많이 사용되는 3상 ac/dc/ac PWM 컨버터 시스템에서의 직류링크 리플전류를 주파수 영역에서 해석하고자 한다. 고조파 전류는 컨버터의 스위칭함수와 지수함수 형태의 퓨리에 급수 전개를 이용하여 분석된다. 전원측 컨버터와 부하측 인버터의 스위칭 주기간의 변위각과 비동기 PW이 리플전류에 미치는 영향도 고찰된다. 해석 결과가 PSIM을 이용한 시뮬레이션으로부터 나온 고조파 스펙트럼과 잘 일치함을 확인한다 제시된 해석기법은 PWM의 원리에 대한 이해를 돕고, 해석 결과는 직류링크 커패시터의 고주파 등가 모델링에 이용된다.

  • This paper presents a stability analysis of AC-DC power system feeding a speed controlled DC motor in which this load behaves as a constant power load (CPL). A CPL can significantly degrade power system stability margin. Hence, the stability analysis is very important. The DQ and generalized state-space averaging methods are used to derive the mathematical model suitable for stability issues. The paper analyzes the stability of power systems for both speed control natural frequency and DC-link parameter variations and takes into account controlled speed motor dynamics. However, accurate DC-link filter and DC motor parameters are very important for the stability study of practical systems. According to the measurement errors and a large variation in a DC-link capacitor value, the system identification is needed to provide the accurate parameters. Therefore, the paper also presents the identification of system parameters using the adaptive Tabu search technique. The stability margins can be then predicted via the eigenvalue theorem with the resulting dynamic model. The intensive time-domain simulations and experimental results are used to support the theoretical results.

  • In this papers, SPICE which is widely used in analysis of general circuit and simulation in electric and electrical field is applied to DC-DC converter. Be selected Forward which is widely used as SMPS(Switched Mode Power Supply) amang DC-DC converter, and showed the aveformer, we know that the converter is operated in normal. Including the control circuit in converter, by controlling the duty ratio of switch, we know that the output voltages is staple from the transient state of convwrter. Also, comparing SPICE simulation with experiment, the validity of simulate is showed.

  • This paper provides a safety guideline for DC supplied home appliances through the comparative analysis of existing safety guideline for AC supplied home appliances. For this purpose, a predictive DC home appliance model is suggested and in special international safety standards of AC appliances are also analyzed. Moreover, a DC distribution system is built to verify the validity of the proposed safety guideline. The detailed analyzing process is explained with help of informative experimental results.

  • The current-fed DC-DC converter has only one energy storage reactor in series with the input for any number of outputs and is insensitive to transformer volt-second unbalance. It is considered that these properties of the converter are considerable advantages over other maltiple-output circuits. The steady-state and dynamic characteristic and stability for the current-fed DC-DC con-verter are analyzed in detail. The analysis is carried out by the state-space averaging method for the operation with the duty ratio less than 50% and is confirmed by the experiment. From the evaluation of stability it is identified that the stability of this converter is excellent as compared with that of the conventional buck type converter.

  • In this paper, with loosely coupled transformer series-parallel resonant type DC/DC converter is analyzed. To get more efficient operating mode of the series-parallel resonant type DC/DC converter, theoretical analysis using normalized parameters are accepted. The proposed converter must be operated in Pulse Frequency Modulation(PFM) switching pattern for the Zero Voltage Switching(ZVS) operation. According to PFM control method, the output voltage of the proposed circuit can be controlled.

LED 가로등 및 경관조명의 직류 누전 특성 분석 (DC Leakage Current Properties Analysis of the LED Lamps of Road and Landscape Lighting)

  • In this paper, we studied dc leakage current properties analysis of LED lamps of road and landscape lighting when leakage current appeared in dc power line. Generally, converter of LED lighting is divides to insulated type and non-insulated type according to components. When electric leakage happened in AC power line, earth leakage breaker(ELB) senses leakage current and interrupts electric circuit. In dc power source, We need experimental verification about dc electric leakage for electricity safety. In normal wiring conditions and in the water, in case of using insulated type of converter, dc leakage current did not occur. However, in case of using non-insulated type of converter, dc leakage current occurred and passed through into the ground. We found that there is a hazard of electric shock by dc leakage current. We expect that the results of these studies would be helpful for electrical safety of LED lamps for road and landscape lighting.

  • This study proposes a AC/DC railway vehicle control algorithm that enables simultaneous driving of AC and DC power supply sections. In the Seoul metropolitan region, trolley voltage for railway vehicle is divided into AC and DC power supplies. Therefore, AC/DC railway vehicle algorithm is essential for driving on the outskirts of the region. This study analyzes resonance and beat phenomena for simultaneously running in AC and DC power supply sections, and proposes a control algorithm for railway vehicles with the application of damping and beatless controls based on this analysis. The performance of the proposed algorithm is verified by simulation and analysis of actual driving results.

고장나무를 이용한 양방향 컨버터의 신뢰성 분석 (Fault-tree based reliability analysis for bidirectional converter)

  • 본 논문에서는 양방향 dc-to-dc 컨버터의 고장원인, 고장영향, 고장 결과를 파악하기 위한 failure mode and effect analysis(FMEA)와 양방향 컨버터의 위험도를 고려한 fault-tree analysis(FTA)를 통해 고장률을 예측한다. 전기차의 구동전압을 효율적으로 상승시키기 위해 인버터 앞단에 부착되는 양방향 컨버터는 배터리 전력을 dc-link 커패시터로 방전시키는 승압모드와 회생전력을 배터리로 충전시키는 강압모드를 가진다. 양방향 컨버터의 동작 특성을 고려한 FMEA 결과를 바탕으로 컨버터의 위험도를 고려한 고장나무를 설계한다. 전기차 MCU용에 맞는 설계 파라메타를 설정하고 출력전압 리플과 인덕터 전류 리플에 따른 커패시터와 인덕터의 부품 고장률을 분석한다. 또한 동작 온도에 따른 주요부품의 고장률을 MIL-HDBK-217F를 이용하여 구한다. 마지막으로 부품 고장률을 고장나무의 기본 사상의 고장률로 반영하여 컨버터 고장률과 평균고장시간을 예측한다.
