초기 설계단계에서의 셋 베이스 다목적 설계 최적화(제4보) : CAD와 CAE의 통합 시스템에의 적용 (Set-Based Multi-objective Design Optimization at the Early Phase of Design (The Fourth Report) : Application to Integrated CAD and CAE System)

  • Various computer-based simulation tools such as 3D-CAD and CAE systems are widely used to design automotive body structure at the early phase of design. Designers must search the optimal solution that satisfies a number of performance requirements by using their tools and a trial-and-error approach. In the previous three reports, a set-based design approach has been proposed for achieving design flexibility and robustness while capturing designer's preference, and its effectiveness has been illustrated with a simple side-door impact beam design problem and real vehicle side-door structure design. This report presents the development of integrated 3D-CAD and CAE system, and the applicability of our proposal for obtaining the multi-objective satisfactory design solutions by applying to an automotive front-side frame.

  • In this paper, we propose a optimal design using the Evolution Strategy of a high gain $4\times4$ array antenna that have the resonant frequency of a 19.05GHz with 18.86GHz~19.26GHz bandwidth. The proposed array antenna structure is designed to be allocated equally electric power by microstrip patch power splitter. Thus the optimal array antenna with power splitter are determined by using an optimal design program based on the evolution strategy. To achieve this, an interface program between a commercial EM analysis tool and the optimal design program is constructed for implementing the evolution strategy technique that seeks a global optimum of the objective function through the iterative design process consisting of variation and reproduction. The simulation result of $4\times4$ array antenna is confirmed that the Gain is 19.36 dBi at resonance frequency 19.05GHz.

고가사다리차의 알루미늄 붐 형상의 최적설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Design for Aluminum Boom Shape in High Ladder Vehicles)

  • An Optimal shape design of the boom system in high ladder vehicles is performed using 3-D finite element method (FEM). Results of structural analyses providing displacements, stresses are implemented for the optimum shape design. Lanzcos algorithm is used for the modal analysis in order to find natural frequencies. The optimal shape including cross sectional thickness and length of the boom system is controlled by the subproblem method besed on displacement and Von Mises stress. It is found that a plenty of materials can be saved by using shape design optimization in high ladder vehicles. It is also found that the natural frequency is increased until 6th mode and maintained similarly or decreased after 6th mode.

  • This paper presents the design method for two-dimensional FIR digital filter using optimization scheme. The proposed design method is to extend the optimal one-dimensional filter design algorithm proposed by Parks and McClellan to two-dimensional case. When extending one-dimensional design scheme to two-dimensional one, some problems occur. In this paper we solved the problems by using the least square error model, the two-dimensional Lagrange interpolation, and the modified alternation theory. As a result, the equi-ripple FIR filter is obtained that is more optimal and more specific than the conventional methods.

  • In this paper, we design the optimal satellite-tracking antenna $H_{\infty}$ control system using genetic algorithm(GA). To do this, we give gain and dynamics parameters to the weighting functions and apply GA with reference model to the optimal determination of weighting functions and design parameter ${\gamma}$ that are given by Glover-Doyle algorithm which can design $H_{\infty}$ controller in the state space. These weighting functions and design parameter ${\gamma}$ are simultaneously optimized in tile search domain guaranteeing the robust stability of closed-loop system. The effectiveness of this satellite-tracking antenna $H_{\infty}$ control system is verified by computer simulation.

  • To Establish of standard technique of length measurent in 2D plane, we develope AFM system. The XY scanner scans the sample only in XY plane, while the Z scanner scans the specimen only in Z-direction. Cantilever tip is controlled to has constant height relative to speciman surface by feedback of PSPD signal. To acquire high accuracy, Z-axis measuring sensor will be added.(COXI or others). In this paper we design XYZ stage suitable for this AEM system. For XY stage, single module parallel-kinnematic flexure stage is used which has high orthogonality and minimum out-of-plane motion. To obtain best performance optimal design is performed. For XY stage, to be robust about parasitic motion optimal design of maximizing Z and tilt stiffness is performed under the constraint of motion range and stage size. And for Z stage, optimal design of maximizing 1st resonant frequency is performed. Because if resonant frequency is get higher, scan speed is improved. So it makes reduce the error by sensor drift. Resultly XYZ stage each have 1st natural frequency of 115㎐, 201㎐, 2.66㎑ and range 109㎛, 110㎛, 12㎛.

  • 본 연구에서는 최적의 인공신경망 구조 설계를 위하여 인공신경망과 유전자 알고리즘이 결합된 신경망구조 설계기법이 제안되었다. 저자들은 신경망 구조설계시 인공지능 적용에 따른 계산적인 복잡함을 줄이며, 신경망에 의한 예측의 정확성을 증가시키기 위하여 인공신경망과 유전자 알고리즘의 특성을 조합하였다. 최적의 신경망 구조를 얻기 위하여 신경망 구조의 설계변수들에 대한 유전자 선별기법을 적용하였다. 제안된 합성 기법의 적용성을 평가하기 위하여 여러 지반공학 물성치들을 추정하는 해석에 적용되었다.

  • An acoustical shape optimization problem is formulated for optimal design of a perforated reactive muffler with offset inlet/outlet. The mean transmission loss value in a target frequency range is maximized for an allowed pressure drop value between an inlet and an outlet. Partitions in the chamber are divided into several sub-partitions, whose lengths are selected as design variables. Each sub-partition has the same number of holes, whose sizes are equal. A finite element model is employed for acoustical and flow analyses. A gradient-based optimization algorithm is used to obtain an optimal muffler. The acoustical and fluidic characteristics of the optimal muffler are compared with those of a reference muffler. Validation experiment is carried out to support the effectiveness of our suggested method.

유한요소해석에 의한 승용차용 플레어 너트 단조공정의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of the Forging Processes of Flare Nut for Automobiles using Finite Element Analysis)

  • Flare nut is an important Part that used to joint a brake tube-end in automobiles. It was made of SWCH 10A by machining. But we studied to make it by metal forming. The main focus of this paper is to investigate an optimal forging processes for flare nut using the DEFORM$^{TM}$-3D. commercially available finite element code and tests. Actually an explicit finite element analysis of the flare nut forging processes has been carried out to predict an optimal shape of the flare nut and its results were reflected in the tests of the forging processes design for flare nut. The simulation results which had obtained from finite element analysis were contributed to the forging processes design for flare nut. An optimal shape of nave nut showed agreements with test results. Furthermore. this paper should contribute to a development of the forging process for a variety of parts.s.

Michaelis-Menten 모형의 모수의 불확실성에 대한 Maximin 타입의 강건 실험 (The Maximin Robust Design for the Uncertainty of Parameters of Michaelis-Menten Model)

  • D-최적 실험은 실험의 이론적인 기초를 제공하는 이유로 비선형모형에 대해 실험설계 시 인기가 있지만 이러한 실험기준은 비선형인 경우 알려져 있지 않은 모수에 의존하는 모순적인 특징이 있다. 그러나 일부 비선형모형은 최적 실험이 비선형 모형의 일부 모수에만 의존하는 특징이 있는 부분비선형모형임 밝혀졌다. 일반적으로 비선형 모형인 경우는 maximin방법은 일반적으로 모수의 불확실성에 강건한 실험을 제공하지 못한다고 알려져 있으나 많은 부분비선형 모형인 경우 하나의 모수에만 최적실험이 의존하는 구조를 갖고 있어 최적실험의 구조를 밝히는데 매우 용이하다. 본 연구에서는 Michaelis-Menten 모형을 대상으로 모수의 불확실성에 대처하기 위한 maximin 방법을 D-최적 및 $D_s$-최적을 기준으로 살펴보았다.
