This paper presents the application of H$\infty$ control synthesis using LMI optimization method to power system stabilizer(PSS) design. Since power system is usually operated under circumstance of unmeasurable uncertainties and external disturbances, the improvement of small signal stability becomes one of the most important issue for securing system stability and preventing low frequency oscillation phenomena. The LMI optimized H$\infty$ PSS provides robust performance and guarantees the internal stability under these operating conditions. The global optimal H$\infty$ norm is found using LMI convex optimization method which is more systematic than standard two Riccati solution method. The design results are simulated for a case study. We verified that the LMI method shows the best performance characteristic smong standard Riccati method and conventional lead/lag method.

Usually, the thrust of a Linear Pulse Motor(LPM) is calculated by magnetic equivalent circuit modelling method. Analytical thrust deviation exists to calculating magnetic flux density by using Permeance Modelling Method, Finite Element Method, and Velocity Electric Motive Force method. For calculating accuracy thrust by using these every method, tire thrust is calculated and compared by Lorentz Force method, Magnetic coenergy Method, and Maxwell correspondence forte Method. And that becomes Important factor at the comparison of each capacity and parameter of motor. So this study wants to compare and analyze measurement data and calculating data of the static thrust of LPM. and then we can get more accuracy method, calculating the static thrust of LPM.

To analyze the genome of Cucumber mosaic virus(CMV) in pepper, we developed a new extraction method for double-stranded RNA(dsRNA). To isolate the dsRNA, 0.1g of pepper leaves homogenized with 1ml of 5${\times}$EXB extraction buffer[0.5M glycin, 0.5M NaCl, 5mM EDTA(pH9.0/NaOH), 10％ Sodium N-lauryl salcosinate(NLS), 10％ Sodium dodecylsulfate(SDS)] and purified with the 1/4 volume of phenol： chloroform： isoamylalcohol(25：24：1). dsRNAs from the aqueous phase was precipitated with isopropanol. This procedure was able to detect a minimal amount of dsRNA from CMV infected plant tissue and to distinguish different CMV satellite RNAs by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(PAGE). Moreover, this method can be applied CMV infected in pepper or Rice dwarf virus (RDV) infected rice.

Currently, there are many software tools that can generate 3D human figure models and animations based on the advancement of computer graphics technology. However, we still have problems in interoperability of human data models in different applications because common data models do not exist. To address this issue, the Web3D Consortium and the ISO/IEC JTC1 SC24 WG6 have developed the H-Anim standard. However, H-Anim does not include human motion data formats although it defines the structure of a human figure. This research is intended to obtain interoperable human animation by defining the data for human motions in H- Anim figures. In this paper, we describe a syntactic method to define motion data for the H-Anim figure and its implementation. In addition, we describe a method of specifying motion parameters necessary for generating animations by using an arbitrary character model data set created by a general graphics tool.

The UHF electromagnetic waves excited by PD pulses propagate along the GIS busbar not only TEM mode, but also TE and TM mode. Generally the waves detected by the UHF sensors are those of high order modes and such waves can only propagate the higher than cut-off frequency. In this paper, computed cut-off frequency of 362[kV] GIS by each modes and simulated electromagnetic field of each propagation modes by FEM(Finite Element Method) program. Frequency band of each TEmn/TMmn modes were determinated by simulation results and were discussed optimal position of UHF sensor from this results.
