Twenty-two new species of poecilostome copepods associated with marine invertebrates are described from the West Indies, Madagascar, and Pacific coast of Panama. They are Anthessius nosybensis n. sp. and Discanthessius solitarius n. gen. n. sp. in the Anthessiidae; Cemihyclops tenuis n. sp., Hemicyclops tripartitus n. sp., H. humesi n. sp., H. magnus n. sp., and Leptinogaster minuta n. sp. in the Clausidiidae; Schedomolgus crenulatus n. sp. and S. parvipediger n. sp. in the Anchimolgidae; Kelleria multiovigera n. sp. in the Kelleridae; Lichomolgus angustus n. sp. and L. fusiformis n. sp. in the Lichomolgidae; Pseudanthessius acutus n. sp., P. asper n. sp., and Tubiporicola pediger n. gen. n. sp. in the Pseudanthessiidae; Acanthomolgus tenuispinatus n. sp. and Notoxynus lokobensis n. sp. in the Rhynchomolgidae; Eupolymniphilus occidentalis n. sp. and E. brevicaudatus n. sp. in the Sabellephilidae; Enalcyonium robustum n. sp. and E. grandisetigerum n. sp. in the Lamippidae; and O. binoviger n. sp. in the Myicolidae. Hemicyclops geminus Stock is synonymized with H. columnaris Humes which is now known as a species of amphi-American distribution. Hemicyclops columnaris Humes, Modiolicola trabalis Humes, and Ostrincola breviseti Ho and Kim are redescribed.

국내 지하수의 지속적인 개발을 위한 훌륭한 방안이 될 수 있는 Stygofauna를 이용한 biological indicator system 개발을 위해 국내 지하수를 대표할 수 있는 국가지하수관측망 약 200여 개소를 선정하여 국내 지하수 미소생물 분포를 조사하였다. 전국의 지하수 생물 채집 결과, Cyclopoida(41.4%)가 우리나라 지하수 생태계에서 가장 전형적인 동물로 나타났으며, 암반대수층보다 에너지와 유기물이 충분한 충적대수층에서 동물의 밀집도가 두 배 가량 높게 나타났다. 생물 분포 또한 충적대수층과 암반대수층이 약간 다르게 나타났다. 권역별 동물 개체수 비교 결과, 금강권역에 비해 영산강과 낙동강권역은 종과 개체수가 적게 나타났다.

A new genus Goodingius is proposed to incorporate Hemicyclops adhaerens(Williams), H. arenicolae Gooding, H. elongatus Wilson and H. subadhaerens Gooding, all of which bear the six-segmented female urosome, three mandibular elements (or three elements plus one rudimentary setule), five setae on the first antennular segment, and no inner coxal seta of leg 4. The genus Giardella Canu, a sister taxon of Goodingius, is redefined as possessing eight elements on the third exopodal segment of leg 3, only a single inner seta on the second endopodal segment of leg 4, four spines on the third endopodal segment of leg 4. To the genus Giardella, Hemicyclops caissarum Kihara and Rocha and H. carinifer Humes are assigned, in addition to Giardella ricoensis n. sp., Giardella callianassae Canu, and G. thompsoni A. Scott. Keys to the species of both genera are provided.

Paranotodelphys villosus Ooishi, 1963, a symbiotic Copepoda, recovered from the ascidian, Ascidia sydneiensis samea (Oka) is reported from the East Sea, Korea.

1986년 8월 한국 연근해에서 출현하는 Corycaeidae를 분류학적으로 연구하였다. 본 연구에서 기재된 종은 2속 3아속 9종으로 Corycaeus (Corycaeus) speciosus, G.(C.) crassiusculus, C. (Ditrichocorycaeus) affinis, C.(D.) andrewsi, C.(D.) erythraeus, C.(Onychocorycaeus) pacificus, c.(O.) catus, C.(O.) agilis, and Farranula gibbula 였다. 각 출현종의 분포를 보면 C. (O) affinis는 연안, 내만성종 의 특성을 나타내었으며, C.(C.) speciosus, C.(C.) crassiusculus, C.(O.) catus, andrewsi C.(D.) catus 및 Farranula gibbbula는 난류, 외양성종의 특성을 나타내었 다.

한국 담수산 검물벼룩류에 대한 분류학적 연구의 일환으로, 보통검물벼룩(Mesocyclops)속의 5종을 분류하였다: 보통검물벼룩 (M. leuckarti) 갈고리보통 검물벼룩 (M. pehpeiensis), 꼭지보통검물벼룩 (M. dissimilis), 민가시보통검물벼룩 (M. woutersi), 털줄보통검물벼룩 (M. mariae). 이 중 뒤의 3종은 한국미기록 종이다. 이들 5종의 분류학적 미세 형질과 종내 변이성을 검토하였다. 한국산 보통검물벼룩속의 종 검색표를 작성하였다.

한국 양식산 우렁쉥이의 외투강에서 채집된 기생성 요각류 1 종이 Bonnierilla 속의 신종임이 확인되어 B. namhaesius 으로 명명하였다. 본 종은 제 1 안테나 8 개 마디의 강모식 3, 17+1 hook, 9+1 aesthete 5, 3, 2, 2+1 aesthete, 7+1 aesthete 를 갖는 점과 제 2 외지에서 제 4 외지 마지막 마디의 II, 5 및 caudal ramu 의 끝 부분에 2, 3, I의 형태를 갖으므로서 다른 종과 구별된다. 또한 Bonnierilla 속 중에서 수컷은 두번째로, 유생은 처음으로 기재한다.

A pictorial key to total 46 species belonging to 15 genera of two subfamilies in the family Cyclopidae is provided as a result of the serial researches on the freshwater cyclopoid copepods in South Korea.
