In this paper, a method to generate the extended model automatically on the critical elements in enterprise system based real time distributed architecture as well as the platform specific model(PSM) for Microsoft(MS) .NET platform is proposed. The key ideas of this method are real time distributed architecture should performed with satisfying strict constraints on life cycle of object and response time such as synchronization, transaction and so on, and .NET platform is able to implement functionalities including before mentioned by only specifying Attribute Code and maximizing advantages of MDA. In order to realize the ideas, functionalities which should be considered enterprise system development are specified and these are to be defined in Meta Model and extended UML profile. In addition, after definition of UML profile for .NET specification, by developing and applying these into plug-in of open source MDA tool, and extended models are generated automatically through this tool. Accordingly, by using proposed specification technology, the profile and tools easily and quickly reusable extended model can be generated even though low level of detailed information for functionalities which is considered in .NET platform and real time distributed architecture. In addition, because proposed profile is MOF which is basis of standard extended and applied, UML and MDA tools which observed MOF is reusable.
Recent Enterprise System has component driven real-time distributed architecture (RDA) and this kind of architecture should performed with satisfying strict constraints on life cycle of object and response time such as synchronization, transaction and so on. Microsoft's .NET platform supports RDA and is able to implement services including before mentioned time restriction and security service by only specifying attribute code and maximizing advantages of OMG's Model Driven Architecture (MDA). In this study, a method to automatically generate an extended model of essential elements in an enterprise-system-based RDA as well as the platform specific model (PSM) for Microsoft's .NET platform are proposed. To realize these ideas, the functionalities that should be considered in enterprise system development are specified and defined in a meta-model and an extended UML profile. In addition, after defining the UML profile for .NET specification, these are developed and applied as plug-ins of the open source MDA tool, and extended models are automatically generated using this tool. Accordingly, by using the proposed specification technology, the profile and tools can easily and quickly generate a reusable extended model even without detailed coding-level information about the functionalities considered in the .NET platform and RDA.

Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion(OTEC) technology is one of the new and renewable energy that utilizes the natural temperature gradient that exists in the tropical ocean between warm surface water and the deep cold water, to generate electricity. The selection of working fluid and the OTEC cycle greatly influence the effect on the system operation, and it's energy efficiency and impacts on the environment. Working fluids of the OTEC are ammonia, R22, R407C, and R410A. In this paper, we compared boiling pressure to optimize OTEC system at $25^{\circ}C$. Also, this paper showed net-power and efficiency according to working fluids for closed cycle and regeneration cycle.
The supercritical $CO_2$ (S-$CO_2$) Brayton cycle has recently been gaining a lot of attention for application to next generation nuclear reactors. The advantages of the S-$CO_2$ cycle are high efficiency in the mild turbine inlet temperature region and a small physical footprint with a simple layout, compact turbomachinery, and heat exchangers. Several heat sources including nuclear, fossil fuel, waste heat, and renewable heat sources such as solar thermal or fuel cells are potential application areas of the S-$CO_2$ cycle. In this paper, the current development progress of the S-$CO_2$ cycle is introduced. Moreover, a quick comparison of various S-$CO_2$ layouts is presented in terms of cycle performance.

This paper presents a method for forecasting future uranium prices that is used as input data to calculate the uranium cost, which is a rational key cost driver of the nuclear fuel cycle cost. In other words, the statistical autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model and existing engineering cost estimation method, the so-called escalation rate model, were subjected to a comparative analysis. When the uranium price was forecasted in 2015, the margin of error of the ARIMA model forecasting was calculated and found to be 5.4%, whereas the escalation rate model was found to have a margin of error of 7.32%. Thus, it was verified that the ARIMA model is more suitable than the escalation rate model at decreasing uncertainty in nuclear fuel cycle cost calculation.

This paper presents a LNG Liquefaction cycle configuration using two stages of methane expansion (i.e. spliting into two stages as warm & cold to generate an additional inflection point within a cold composite curve) and a single stage of nitrogen expansion to improve the efficiency of the conventional Methane & Nitrogen Expansion Cycle. In comparison with Double Nitrogen Expansion Cycel and Methane & Nitrogen Expansion Cycle, the cycle efficiency has increased approximately from 13.92 and 13.13 to 12.08 kW/ton/day (8~15% efficiency increase). A Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis based on Net Present Value (NPV) also show an improvement in therms of project NPV, against a minor increment of a CAPEX.
This study investigates the application of supercritical carbon dioxide (S-CO2) direct-cycle micro modular reactors (MMRs) in primary frequency control (PFC), which is a scenario characterized by significant load fluctuations that has received less attention compared to secondary load-following. Using a modified GAMMA + code and a deep neural network-based turbomachinery off-design model, the authors conducted an analysis to assess the behavior of the reactor core and fluid system under different PFC scenarios. The results indicate that the acceptable range for sudden relative electricity output (REO) fluctuations is approximately 20%p which aligns with the performance of combined-cycle gas turbines (CCGTs) and open-cycle gas turbines (OCGTs). In S-CO2 direct-cycle MMRs, the control of the core operates passively within the operational range by managing coolant density through inventory control. However, when PFC exceeds 35%p, system control failure is observed, suggesting the need for improved control strategies. These findings affirm the potential of S-CO2 direct-cycle MMRs in PFC operations, representing an advancement in the management of grid fluctuations while ensuring reliable and carbon-free power generation.

According to the returns of Housing and business cycle over the period 1992 to 2007, it is a measure of the total volatility faced by investors in Housing properties. First, it isn't a distinct difference from business cycle contrary to U.S. Second, the rise of purchase price in total apartments moves up the consumer price index. According to the cross-sectional dispersion of returns and growth in net operating income (NOI) of apartments, industrial, retail and office properties using panel data for U.S. metropolitan areas over the period 1986 to 2002, it is a measure of the total volatility faced by investors in commercial real estate. To the extent that most of that volatility is difficult to diversify, cross-sectional dispersion may be an appropriate measure of risk.
This article describes a comprehensive methodology for the evaluation of the middle part of nuclear fuel cycles. Evaluation of fuel cycles is basically divided into two parts. The first comprises nuclear calculation, i.e., creation of the strategy for nuclear fuel reloading and core design calculations. The second part is the business-economic evaluation of the selected reloading strategy, which can be done either by financial analysis or economic analysis. The financial analysis incorporates the perspectives of a company while the economic analysis can be used primarily by national economists or politicians. This methodology was applied to a case study that is focused on impacts of switching from a 12-month to an 18-month fuel cycle strategy for Water-Water Energetic Reactor (VVER)-1000 reactors.

The simulation of power cycle and unsteady gas exchange processes in the inlet and exhaust systems of the single-cylinder 2-stroke cycle compression ignition engine was studied in this paper. In power cycle process, the single-zone model proposed by Whitehouse and Way was used, and the convective and radiative heat transfer from cylinder contents to surroundings was considered. To solve the equations for gas exchange process, the generalized method of characteristics including area change, friction, heat transfer and entropy gradients was used. Also with the path line calculation, the entropy change along the path line and the variation of specific heat due to the change of temperature and the composition of cylinder gas were considered. As a result of the simulation, the change of pressure and temperature in the cylinder against the crank angle, the rate of net heat release, and the change of properties at each point in the inlet and exhaust pipe against the crank angle were obtained. The engine performances under various operating conditions were also calculated.
