  • Recently, due to the development of ICT technology, changes to the convergence service platform of information systems are accelerating. Convergence services expanded to cyber systems with 5G communication, IoT, AI, and cloud are being reflected in the real world. However, the field of cybersecurity audit for responding to cyber attacks and security threats and strengthening security technology is insufficient. In this paper, we analyze the international standard analysis of information security management system, security audit analysis and security of related systems according to the expansion of 5G communication, IoT, AI, Cloud based information system security. In addition, we design and study cybersecurity audit checklists and contents for expanding security according to cyber attack and security threat of information system. This study will be used as the basic data for audit methods and audit contents for coping with cyber attacks and security threats by expanding convergence services of 5G, IoT, AI, and Cloud based systems.

  • The U.S. Department of Defense, leading global cybersecurity policies, has two main cybersecurity frameworks: the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) for external defense industry certification, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for internal organizational security assessments. For Republic of Korea military, starting from 2026, the Korean version of RMF (K-RMF) will be fully implemented. Domestic defense industry companies participating in projects commissioned by the U.S. Department of Defense must obtain CMMC certification by October 2025. In this paper, a new standard compliance meta-model (R3C) development methodology that can simultaneously support CMMC and RMF security audit readiness tasks is introduced, along with the implementation results of a compliance solution based on the R3C meta-model. This research is based on practical experience with the U.S. Department of Defense's cybersecurity regulations gained during the joint project by the South Korean and U.S. defense ministries' joint chiefs of staff since 2022. The developed compliance solution functions are being utilized in joint South Korean-U.S. military exercises. The compliance solution developed through this research is expected to be available for sale in the private sector and is anticipated to be highly valuable for domestic defense industry companies that need immediate CMMC certification.

  • Data security is the planning, implementation and implementation of security policies and procedures for the proper audit and authorization of access to and use of data and information assets. In addition, data serviced through internal / external networks, servers, applications, etc. are the core objects of information protection and can be said to focus on the protection of data stored in DB and DB in the category of information security of database and data. This study is a preliminary study to design a proper Data Security Management System (DSMS) model based on the data security certification system and the US Federal Security Management Act (FISMA). And we study the major security certification systems such as ISO27001 and NIST's Cybersecurity Framework, and also study the state of implementation in the data security manager solution that is currently implemented as a security platform for preventing personal data leakage and strengthening corporate security.

  • The International Maritime Organization (IMO) issued 2017 Guidelines on maritime cyber risk management. In accordance with IMO's maritime cyber risk management guidelines, each flag State is required to comply with the Safety Management System (SMS) of the International Safety Management Code (ISM) that the cyber risks should be integrated and managed before the first annual audit following January 1, 2021. In this paper, to identify cyber security management targets and risk factors in the maritime sector and to conduct vulnerability analysis, we catagorized the cyber security sector in management, technical and physical sector in maritime sector based on the industry guidelines and international standards proposed by IMO. In addition, the Risk Matrix was used to conduct a qualitative risk assessment according to risk factors by cyber security sector.
