A Study on the Education Needs for Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Management for Well-Aging (웰에이징을 위한 건강증진 및 만성질환 관리 교육요구도 조사)

  • This study was conducted to provide basic data to establish health promotion and chronic disease management education programs and educational plans for well-aging by investigating the educational needs for health promotion and chronic disease management by life cycle. This is a descriptive correlation research study, and collected and analyzed through a structured questionnaire targeting 330 adults over 19 years of age registered at Gallup Korea. The results of the study were perceived health status 3.11 points (SD=.72), health promotion behavior 2.27 points (SD=.47), and health-related quality of life 0.92 points (SD=.10). Health-related quality of life was found to have a positive correlation with perceived health status (r=.472, p<.001) and health promotion behavior (r=.122, p<.026). The priority of educational needs and contents for health promotion and chronic disease management was the highest in chronic disease management. There was a significant difference according to the life cycle (p=0.001), and it was found that the mature stage was more likely to be aware of the level of knowledge, the need for education, and the willingness to participate in education compared to the youth. Through the results of this study, it is necessary to develop a comprehensive customized program that is subdivided according to the life cycle when developing health promotion and chronic disease management education programs for well-aging.

The Effect of Business and Digital Capabilities of Small Businesses on Business Satisfaction : The Moderating Effect of Personal Media Education Performance (소상공인의 사업역량과 디지털역량이 사업만족도에 미치는 영향 : 1인 미디어 교육성과의 조절효과)

  • This study was conducted to empirically analyze the relationship between business and digital capabilities of small businesses on business satisfaction. To this end, business capabilities were subdivided into industry expertise and customer management expertise. Digital capabilities were subdivided into SNS activity, ease of ICT usability, and business utilization of ICT. At the same time, we examined how the moderating effect of performance of personal media education. A survey was conducted to empirically analyze this, and 200 sample who received personal media education were analyzed. SPSS 24.0 and Macro Process 4.0 were used for statistical analysis. As a result of the empirical analysis of this study, industry expertise, customer management expertise, SNS activity, and business utilization of ICT, all had a positive (+) significant effect on business satisfaction. On the other hand, the significant influence relationship on the ease of ICT usability was not tested. Industry expertise and business utilization of ICT were found to be variables that had a great influence. It was analyzed that personal media education performance plays a moderating role between SNS activity, business utilization of ICT and business satisfaction. The results of this study are meaningful in that they empirically analyze that these capabilities affect business satisfaction even for small businesses at a time when the importance of digital capabilities increases.

New Environmental Impact Assessment Technology (신환경영향평가기술(新環境影響評價技術)의 개발방향(開發方向))

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the problems of environmental impact assessment(EIA) and to suggest new EIA technology. The problems of EIA in Korea can be summarized as follows. First, the EIA does not reflect the impact of policy, plan and program on environment. Second, the project EIA does not consider the cumulative impacts such as additive impacts, synergistic impacts, threshold/saturation impacts, induced and indirect impacts, time-crowded impacts, and space-crowded impacts. Third, the EIA techniques in Korea are not standardized. Finally, the present EIA suggests only alternatives to reduce adverse impacts. To solve above-mentioned problems, the development of new EIA technology is essential. First, the new EIA technology should be developed toward pollution prevention technology and comprehensive and integrated environmental management technology. Second, new fields of EIA for pollution prevention contain strategic environmental assessment, cumulative impacts assessment, socio-economic impact assessment, cyber EIA and EIA technology necessary after the reunification of Korean Peninsula. Third, EIA technology for integrated environmental management contains the development of integated environment assessment system and the development of packaged EIA technology. The EIA technology for integrated environmental assessment system contains (1) development of integrated impact assessment technology combining air/water quality model, GIS and remote sensing, (2) integrated impact assessment of EIA, traffic impact assessment, population impact assessment and disaster impact assessment. (3) development of integrated technology combining risk assessment and EIA (4) development of integrated technology of life cycle assessment and EIA, (5) development of integrated technology of spatial planning and EIA, (6) EIA technology for biodiversity towards sustainable development, (7) mathematical model and GIS based location decision techniques, and (8) environmental monitoring and audit. Furthermore, there are some fields which need packaged EIA technology. In case of dam development, urban or industrial complex development, tourist development, landfill or combustion facilities construction, electric power plant development, development of port, road/rail/air port, is necessary the standardized and packaged EIA technology which considers the common characteristics of the same kind of development project.

The Effectiveness of online English Learning Program Contents for Elementary School Students (초등학교 온라인 영어 학습 콘텐츠 유형별 효과성)

  • This study explored the effectiveness of the online English learning program contents for elementary school students. The study used the online English learning program served by Gyeonggi province office of education. 107 students attending P elementary school in K city volunteered for the program. After studying English via the website for almost one year, they were asked to respond the questionnaires related to the contents of the online English program. Since the research investigated that the relations of students' grades, the time for the study, their diagnostic test scores, and the effectiveness of the contents, the survey responses were analyzed with Spearman correlation. As a result, older students thought that the type of problem-solving, the type of performing a task, WBI (Web Based Instruction) were not efficacious. Also, these types of online English program were chosen as ineffective from the students at the higher level. Whereas the type of private lesson, the lessons based on a story, and the type of animation were preferred to the students who spent longer time on the website. This highlights the need to consider the students' characteristics such as students' grades, the time for the study, and their English level when developing the contents of the online English learning program.

  • The purpose of the study is to suggest a standardized teaching-learning model as a method for strengthening the practical effect of the information ethic education for the adolescent, which is practiced in schools as the inter-disciplinary way. A survey was put to teachers and their needs are analyzed. At the same time, in order to draw the practical teaching-learning model, the teaching examples were collected for contesting. Through this process, a bottom-up approach which tries to analyze the actual class examples and generalizes them, the teaching-learning model has been suggested. As a result, another survey was conducted for the investigation of the efficacy of the model between beneficiary group and comparison group. The results are as followings; the experiment group showed a higher index in regard with such items as Information Culture Index, Lesson Satisfaction Degree, and Practice Will than Comparison Group, and the differences are statistically significant.   • Adult-learners of online education have been distant from studying for a long time and are rather familiar with the old massive education. As a result, despite the excellent ability in self-control learning that results in great academic performances and academic continuity, the learners give up on learning, feeling depressed for not being able to perform their advantage, the self-control learning ability. The study developed a self-control learning model and UDL design learning model in order to establish e-mentoring system. For the analysis on results of the experiment, the researcher extracted academic grade, the rate of re-register, and the amount of total studying time after dividing new students and transfer students of H cyber university into the control group and the experimental group. In conclusion, the results showed that more satisfied the control group is, the higher academic achievements and the higher academic continuity are accomplished.

  • So far, the researches about the Internet addiction testing are diverse and enormous. However, since the testing factors have the same importance, there is no discrimination among the factors. In our paper, we analyze the problems of the existing researches by using Lisrel and data mining algorithms. Next, we propose an alternative for the Internet addiction testing. In order to accomplish these, we make an questionnaire consisted of Young's test and then, we asked to 440 primary and secondary school students. In addition, we analyzed the problems of Young's test with factor analysis and then, we distinguish more important items from others with J48 and PART. Finally, based on this analysis, we propose a method to diagnose addicted students and prescribe them.

  • Computer users frequently request large scale multimedia data such as images. voice, video rather than conventional formal data. Data in virtual fossil museum are represented as points, shape, location in multidimensional space and interrelation with other spatial object. Informations in virtual fossil museum should be maintained to manipulate spatial object and non-spatial object. In this report we propose virtual fossil museum which is consisted of two parts. In the first step, basic system is implemented in internet for non-specialist such as primary students. This system is implemented based on visual multimedia information system so that non-specialist about computer can access easily. In the second step, expert system is designed which allows computer users can store, magnify, reduce, and retrieve the spatial data. This expert system uses animation, spatial query and VRML.

  • This paper announces that, with the emergence of the imaginary university for the remote education, which is based on Web due to the education change, the introduction of the Multimedia contents system using computers and the Internet becomes serious. For this reason, this paper suggests search system for managing the imaginary university documents. For the success of the document management of the imaginary university, document search is regarded as an important issue as well as the executive support and search system of the document management. This paper plans and embodies the imaginary university XML document search system to establish the foundation of increasing efficiency o( affairs using XML document, by aiming at the fact that it will be highlighted as a representative application field as well as the efficiency of the executive affairs, by applying of Multimedia documentary creation system, which is about the imaginary university XML documentary that it is seen distinctly an effect of administrative work being a consequence of new technique application of computers.

  • The purpose of the study is to examine a structural relationship among mobile self-efficacy, mobility, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and intention to use of a mobile learning service using technology acceptance model. The result revealed that mobile self-efficacy, mobility had a direct effect on perceived ease of use. Second, mobile self-efficacy, mobility, perceived ease of use had a direct effect on perceived usefulness. Third, mobile self-efficacy, mobility, perceived usefulness had a direct effect on intention to use of a mobile learning service. However, perceived ease of use did not have a effect on behavioral intention of mobile learning service.
