As the necessity of cyber education is being raised up recently, Cyber Home Learning System(CHLS) is increasingly adopted at all school levels ranging from elementary to high schools. The purposes of this study are to find out that how elementary social studies of CHLS influence on the academic performance and learning attitude of students and their satisfaction. Based on these suggestions on social studies of CHLS are proposed. To accomplish the purposes, comparisons were made between experimental group utilizing social studies of CHLS and control group of traditional class of 54 students(27 students each in experimental and control group) in 5th grade. The results are as follows. Utilizations in social studies of CHLS showed positive effects on academic performance and learning attitude, and students' satisfaction on social studies of CHLS were rather increased. Based on these findings, several suggestions are made. First, strategy to improve motivation and confidence for students to participate on social studies of CHLS are necessary. Second, thinking and problem-solving activities needs to be integrated to social studies of CHLS. Third, for meaningful social studies, environment that can improve communication and thinking ability through interaction needs to be facilitated. Fourth, supporting plan is advised for teachers carrying on the role of manager and facilitator.

Recently, as the Internet and various wearable devices have appeared, Internet technology has contributed to obtaining more convenient information and doing business. However, as the internet is used in various parts, the attack surface points that are exposed to attacks are increasing, Attempts to invade networks aimed at taking unfair advantage, such as cyber terrorism, are also increasing. In this paper, we propose a feature selection method to improve the classification performance of the class to classify the abnormal behavior in the network traffic. The UNSW-NB15 dataset has a rare class imbalance problem with relatively few instances compared to other classes, and an undersampling method is used to eliminate it. We use the SVM, k-NN, and decision tree algorithms and extract a subset of combinations with superior detection accuracy and RMSE through training and verification. The subset has recall values of more than 98% through the wrapper based experiments and the DT_PSO showed the best performance.

Although many studies have been conducted to identify unknown attacks in cyber security intrusion detection systems, studies based on outliers are attracting attention. Accordingly, we identify outliers by defining categories for unknown attacks. The unknown attacks were investigated in two categories: first, there are factors that generate variant attacks, and second, studies that classify them into new types. We have conducted outlier studies that can identify similar data, such as variants, in the category of studies that generate variant attacks. The big problem of identifying anomalies in the intrusion detection system is that normal and aggressive behavior share the same space. For this, we applied a technique that can be divided into clear types for normal and attack by discrete wavelet transformation and detected anomalies. As a result, we confirmed that the outliers can be identified through One-Class SVM in the data reconstructed by discrete wavelet transform.

Recently, the importance of the role of the university information security department in nurturing security experts to defend against cyber attacks is increasing day by day. The current university security curriculum has a problem in that the proportion of theoretical education is high and the professionalism of practical education is relatively low. This study analyzed the recent educational programs of domestic and foreign security education institutions for the purpose of improving the practical ability of the Department of Security, designing a class model suitable for the core specialization process, and suggesting the direction. The proposed model improves the existing problems of basic class connection and security practice curriculum roadmap, and additionally explains the practice program of the five core specialized subjects. This study intends to contribute to the improvement of the quality of the curriculum and educational model of each university's security department.

최근 사이버 공간(Cyber Space)을 통해 교육 수요자의 다양한 교육적 욕구를 만족시킬 수 있는 사이버 교육에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이 논문은 수년간의 학습 경영 활동에 대한 경험을 바탕으로 사이버 공간을 통해 효율적인 학습 경영을 할 수 있는 학습 홈페이지를 제작하여, 학습 경영 활동을 개선시키는 기법에 대해 기술한다. 이 논문에서는 효과적인 홈페이지 작성을 위해 학생-학부모-교사의 요구사항을 선물을 통해 분석하였고, 이를 바탕으로 학습 담임의 기능과 임무를 파악하여 중학교 3학년 1개 학급을 대상으로 학급 경영활동을 한 후, 그 결과물을 홈페이지에 구현하여 학습 경영 활동을 개선하였다. 이렇게 구성된 홈페이지를 통해 교사들은 학습 경영 활동의 개선에 필요한 사이버 공간 활용 방향과 흐름을 파악할 수 있게 되고, 학생은 컴퓨터를 매개로 한 의사소통을 통해 사이버 공간에서의 다양한 교육적 접근에 친숙하게 되며, 학부모는 시간적.공간적 제약 없이 자유롭게 학습의 행사나 학생에 관한 자료를 열람할 수 있게 된다.

This paper investigates the effects of small group collaborative transcription activities on the improvement of university students' English listening ability. Based on the results of pre-tests, a class of 42 students was subdivided into 11 small homogeneous groups of three to four students. Each group was provided with 7 different news items to be transcribed. Means were compared between pre-test and post-test scores, followed by comparison of transcription errors in content and function words. Finally, students' perception and attitudes about the use of small group transcription for improving listening skills were qualitatively analysed and compared with pre- and post test results. It was found that post test scores highly correlated with improvement of listening ability. It was also found that groups of high degree of collaboration showed improvement in listening ability while lack of collaboration contributed to loss of interests in listening. Students who see process more important were found to make more contribution to the group success than those who place more emphasis on the results.

This study focused on what philosophy of education based on theory of Dewey has to be involved in teacher professional development program. In this view, an attempt was made to identify characteristics and ultimate goal of professional development program. Finally, this paper also discussed the design and the process of the professional development program based on the principles of reflective thinking and psychological observation by Dewey in order to connect theory with practice as a model which is for conducting professional development program for a group of mathematics teachers.

사이버 상담실에 대한 다수의 연구를 통해 밝혀진 사이버 상담실 운영의 필요성과 장점으로 인해 사이버 상담실을 운영하는 사례가 늘어나고 있다. 그러나 사이버 상담실은 장점만 있는 것이 아니고 익명성으로 인한 1회적이고 비인간적인 관계 형성 등과 같은 문제점을 갖기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 사이버 상담실 운영의 장점은 살리고 단점을 보완할 수 있도록 학급 홈페이지를 활용한 사이버 상담실을 구축하여 운영해 보았다. 그 결과, 학급 홈페이지를 통한 사이버 상담실 운영은 시간 부족으로 어려움을 겪는 아동과 교사, 학부모의 상담 욕구를 충족시켜 주었고 활발한 상호작용을 통한 친밀한 관계 형성 및 상담 아동에 대한 사전 정보, 계속적인 관찰 둥은 상담 효과를 극대화할 수 있었다. 또한 관심을 유도하기 위한 이벤트는 아동과 학부모를 사이버 상담실까지 유도하는데 효과적이었고 오락적 요소가 가미된 채팅보다는 기본적인 비밀게시판이 오히려 더 심도 있는 상담도구로 활용되었다.

In this paper, attendance in distance learning courses of a cyber university has been surveyed in an effort to verify the effectiveness of distance learning. Based on survey data from 4,749 distance learning participants, major attending place, major reasons for attending online class, fidelity to online classes, attending time per week, perceived educational effectiveness, perceived and relative seriousness of problems, and other variables have been evaluated. The results indicate that perceptional seriousness of the investigated problems is not statistically important. The findings indicate that, among operational problems, self willingness and cheating are the most remarkable. In contrast, the relative seriousness of traditionally recognized problems such as H/W availability and network speed among environmental problems is least remarkable. An analysis of demographic differences such as sex, employment, and school year in terms of seriousness of problems is also performed. The results reveal the existence of statistically significant differences according to sex, employment, and school year with regard to almost all elements of environment, actual current conditions, and seriousness of problems, with the exception of some elements such as attending place and perceived fidelity.

본 논문은 국내 사이버가정학습에서의 학습자 몰입을 형성하는 조건과 몰입, 그리고 학습 성과에 대한 영향간의 관계에 대하여 연구하였다. 이러한 탐구를 위해 Csikszentmihalyi(1990)의 몰입이론(flow theory)을 이론적 기반으로 삼았으며, 컴퓨터 매개 환경(Computer-Mediated Environment)에서의 학습활동에 참여하고 있는 사이버가정학습 수강자 310명으로부터 자료를 얻어 실증적 연구를 수행하였다. 사이버가정학습 학습자의 몰입은 '즐거움', '원격현존감', '주의집중', '관여', '시간왜곡'의 5가지 하위구인으로 정의하였고, 몰입 선행 조건은 학습에 필요한 '기술'과 과제수행의 '도전' 정도에 대한 개인의 인지도의 차이로 정의되었다. 실증적 연구를 위해 사이버가정학습 몰입측정 도구(Cyber-class Flow Measure)를 활용하였으며, 실제 몰입도 측정 후 몰입도가 높은 학습자 집단과 낮은 학습자 집단의 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 자료 분석결과 사이버가정학습 몰입도는 학습만족도 평가에 유의미한 영향을 미침을 보여주었다.
