일본 도시철도 개착식 터널의 내진성능 평가 방법에 대한 고찰 (A Study on Evaluation Method of Seismic Performance on Cut and Cover Tunnel of Subway in Japan)

  • Due to the Japan's Kobe earthquake in 1995, a cut-and-cover tunnel, which is one of subway facilities, collapsed unexpectedly. As a result, also in Korea, seismic performance needs to be secured for the cut-and-cover tunnel and currently, the subway seismic design standard is based on the seismic performance. However, there is no standard for the damage level or stability level of a member for securing the seismic performance, and the definition of multi-level seismic performance is not sufficient. By contrast to this situation, in the Japan's evaluation method of seismic performance, design earthquake ground motion having reflected there into the subway driving stability is clearly defined and the seismic performance required for structures is classified in detail. This study analyzes the Japan's systematic evaluation method of seismic performance for cut-and-cover tunnels of subway.

굴착경사가 개착식터널의 구조적거동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Cut-slope on Structural Behavior of Cut-and-Cover Tunnel)

  • 기존 개탁식터널은 굴착경사와 관계없이 터널상부에는 되메움지반의 자중이 그리고, 터널벽체에는 정지토압이 작용하는 것으로 가정하여 설계되고 있다. 그러나 개착식터널에 실제 작용하는 토압은 개착규모에 따라 다르며 이에 따라 터널라이닝의 구조적거동 또한 다르게 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 수치해석적방법을 사용하여 굴착경사가 터널라이닝에 미치는 영향을 다음과 같이 조사하였다. 첫째로, 지반범용수치해석프로그램인 FLAC2D를 사용하여 개착공법으로 시공된 기존 터널의 변형거동을 모사할 수 있는 수치해석방법을 활용하여 현장의 계측결과와 비교하므로써 수치해석방법의 타당성을 검증하였고, 둘째로, 동일한 수치해석기법을 적용하여 굴착경사가 $30^{\circ}\;, 456{\circ},\; 60^{\circ},\; 75^{\circ}%인 개착식터널에 작용하는 토압 및 변위와 터널라이닝에 발생하는 단면력을 조사하였다. 수치해석에 사용된 개착식터널은 2차로 도로터널이며, 터널라이닝과 되메움지반 사이의 마찰력을 고려하기 위하여 접합면 요소를 사용하였다. 수치 해석결과, 되메움지반과 터널라이닝 및 굴착사면 사이의 마찰력에 의한 되메움지반 내부의 아칭현상으로 인하여 굴착 경사가 클수록 터널벽체에 상대적으로 작은 토압이 작용하였으며, 이에 따라 터널라이닝의 변형, 모멘트, 전단력이 증가하였음을 알 수 있었다.

  • In the design of cut and cover tunnels, the structural analysis has been used for its simplicity. Contrarily to the geotechnical analysis, this technique could not account for the geological and geometric factors. In this study, the dominant factors influencing the behavior of cut and cover tunnel such as interface element, cut slope, distance between cut slope and tunnel lining, berm, coefficient of lateral earth pressure, were investigated and compared by geotechnical numerical analysis. Based on the results, the variations of earth pressure, bending moment, shear stress, axial load, and displacements were evaluated and analyzed for each factor.

  • Usually, Steel pipe grouting method or cut and cover method has been applied to tunnel with very shallow overburden or it is situated in valley. However, in case of lack of overburden height to reinforcement tunnel crown which is very difficult to construction. Also, application of cut and cover method that do not consider surrounding site condition causes popular enmity generation and environmental damage. It is the best alternative method that reduces the amount of excavated soil and excavate tunnel under ground to solve these problems. The tunneling method using cover structure which is to prevent a tunnel from collapse because this method can be reduce excavation area and construct tunnel under ground after set a cover structure and backfill ground. In this study, to know more effective structure type, comparative analysis was performed to behavior characters of slab and arch type construction that can be used to cover structure. Also a 2D and 3D numerical analysis have been performed to verify the stability of ground during excavation. As the result, the tunneling method using cover structure that it can be good alternative method for tunnel with shallow overburden and it through valley

  • 아치형 개착식 터널은 종래의 박스형 개착식 터널과 비교하여 외력에 따른 축력으로 지지하는 형식이므로 보다 얇은 부재로 시공이 가능하고, 구조물 특성상 적절한 변형에 의하여 지반반력을 기대할 수 있어 역학적으로 우수한 구조물로서 최근 프리캐스트화되어 그 시공실적이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 프리캐스트 아치형 개착식 터널은 굴착식 터널 및 박스형 개착식 터널 등과 시공방법과 형상이 상이하여 구조물 주변 지반응력 거동이 다르며, 이는 터널구조물 단면설계시에 반영 되어야만 하는 중요한 사항이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 프리캐스트 아치형 개착식 터널의 시공과정을 고려하여 유한요소해석을 실시하여, 지반과 구조물간 상호작용을 고려한 아치형 개착식 터널의 역학적 거동에 대하여 검토하였다.

Mechanical Behavior of Rib-reinforced Precast Cut-and-cover Tunnels by Large-sized Experiments

  • Wide tunnels,such as those with high filling, can suffer limited applicability and also reduced structural stability. Therefore, to improve these limitations of precast cut-and-cover tunnel segments, this study proposes rib reinforcement of the vaults of the precast segments. Large-sized experiments assess the effectiveness of the various rib-reinforced precast arch cut-and-cover tunnel structures, and compare them against otherwise similar non-rib-reinforced specimens. The results show that the rib-reinforced precast cut-and-cover segments are suitable for building wide tunnels with high filling.

원심모형시험에 의한 복개터널 복공의 변위특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Displacement Characteristics of Cut-and Cover Tunnel Lining by Centrifuge Model Experiment)

  • This thesis is results of experimental works on the behavior of the cut-and-cover tunnel. Centrifuge model tests were performed to simulate the behavior of the cut-and-cover tunnels having cross sections of national road and subway tunnels. Model experiments were carried out with changing the cut slope and the slope of filling ground surface. Displacements of tunnel lining resulted from artificially accelerated gravitational force up to 40g of covered material used in model tests, were measured during centrifuge model tests. In model tests, Jumunjin Standard Sand with the relative density of 80 % and the zinc plates were used for the covered material and the flexible tunnel lining, respectively. Basic soil property tests were performed to obtain it's the property of Jumumjin Standard Sand Shear strength parameters of Jumunjin Standard Sand were obtained by performing the triaxial compression tests. Direct shear tests were also carried out to find the mechanical properties of the interface between the lining and the covered material. Compared results model tests estimation with respect to displacements of the lining.

  • Cut and Cover Method is generally used in shallow tunnels and tunnel entrances with thin soil cover. In this type of cons0truction, backfilling is considered to be the most important process. In this process even though the backfill material is thoroughly compacted, compaction and self-weight due to vehicular vibration and pressure exerted by the soil cause the backfill material to undergo self-compression which leads to settlement. The settlement of the backfill material subjects the tunnel lining under excessive earth pressure which cause cracking and deformation. In the model test performed installation of geotextile on the sides and top of the tunnel was able to reduce the earth pressure acting on the tunnel lining.

  • 본 연구에서는 아치형 복개 터널구조물에 작용하는 토압에 영향을 미치는 주요 영향인자들을 평가하기 위하여, 지반정수 및 굴착과 관련된 영향인자들에 대하여 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션 기법에 근거한 정량적 민감도 분석을 수행하였으며, 민감도 분석을 토대로 최대 영향인자 변화에 따른 토압의 변화에 대한 수치해석적 검토를 수행하였다. 민감도분석에 사용되는 출력결과들은 유한요소해석에서 얻어진 터널 위치별 연직 및 수평토압을 대상으로 하였다. 민감도 분석결과, 아치형 복개 터널구조물에 작용하는 수평 및 연직토압은 작용위치에 따라 동일한 영향인자에 대한 민감도가 상이한 것으로 나타났으며, 또한 최대 영향인자인 토피고 및 굴착사면 변화에 따라 아치형 복개 터널구조물에 작용하는 토압분포 및 크기가 변화하는 것으로 나타났다.
