  • In this paper, we proposed to the inspection algorithm for cap, Electric fuse is an over current and circuit protection device which is occurred in electric & electronic appliance. Also the fuse are protection the second hazard at arc etc. Fuse are interest regarding a safety increased. Consequently, the fuse came to be very important. Cap inspection algorithm is designed for the cap of fuse. CCD camera is monitering the solder of cap distribution map. The conditioning of fuse cap; suming all searching data with non solder area. the area is bigger reference data then the cap is bad cap.

  • Recently, as the grid-connected photovoltaic power conditioning systems (PVPCS) are installed in many residential areas, these have raised potential problems of network protection on electrical power system. One of the numerous problems is an Islanding phenomenon. In this paper, active frequency drift (AFD) method, one of the anti-islanding methods which is analyzed by current magnitude compensation and calculation of RMS value of the output power is proposed and verified by simulation.

  • In this study, the domestic and abroad policies and regulations on the gas cooling systems have been analyzed. First, the current policies were investigated in Korea and other countries to stimulate the distribution of the gas cooling systems. The advantage and disadvantage for each policy were evaluated. Finally, several policies were proposed for the effective distribution of the gas cooling systems.

  • The modular line-connected photovoltaic PCS (power conditioning system) is proposed. The proposed system consists of a step-up DC-DC converter and a full-bridge inverter. A step-up DC-DC converter using a dual series-resonant rectifier circuit and a active-clamp circuit is proposed to achieve a high efficiency and a high input-output voltage ratio efficiently. An IncCond (incremental conductance) MPPT (maximum power point tracking) algorithm that improves MPPT characteristic is used. By control a inverter using a linearized output current controller, a unity power factor is achieved. All algorithms and controllers are implemented on a single-chip microcontroller and the superiority of the proposed algorithms and controllers is proved by experiments.

  • A soft-switching three-level chopper-inverter system was built for high-power applications like Power Conditioning System (PCS) for Superconductive Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES). The system can handle 1800-VDC, 200-A peak, and 250-kW output power. The system was designed to operate with 20-KHz PWM operation with the aid of state-of-the-art zero-current transition type soft-switching. The system is based on the Power Electronics Building Block (PEBB) concept.

  • The computerized cardiac analysis system, which acquires and analyzes the electrical activation signal propagating along the surface of the heart, is indispensible equipment for the open heart surgery and electrical cardiac study. In this paper, the design requirement and the electrical circuit analysis are performed to construct the multi-channel cardiac activation pre-amplifier necessary for a signal conditioning circuit. The general 64 channel configuration is expanded into 128 channels to enhance the spatial resolution on the mapped surface of the heart. The 128 channels pre-amplifier consists of input circuit, differential amplifier, right leg driven circuit and isolation part. It has distinct features; high voltage protection, leakage current limitation, isolation and the maximization of common mode rejection ratio with respect to the half-cell potential difference due to different electrode materials. The final pre-amplifier circuit is assembled with 8 boards, each of which composing of 16 channels.

  • 본 논문에서는 계통연계형 인버터에서 요구되는 전력품질 개선 기능, 부하수요관리 기능, 무정전전원공급 기능 등을 전류제어형 전압원 인버터 시스템에서 통합적으로 수행할 수 있는 UPS를 고려한 계통연계형 전류제어 인버터를 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 평상시에는 무효전력 보상, 고조파 저감, 부하수요관리 등의 PCS(Power Conditioning System) 기능을 수행하고 계통 고장시에는 배터리에 저장된 에너지를 이용하여 부하에 즉시 정전압을 공급하는 UPS 기능을 수행한다. 본 연구에서는 제안된 시스템의 동작원리 및 제어 알고리즘을 이론적으로 해석하고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 유용성을 확인한다.

  • Global average temperature rise accelerates by global warming in the three decades of the 20th century. But Current HDD ( Heating Degree-Days) which we are using has been established 20 years ago. Therefore new heating degree days for 15 district areas of korea was determined using long-term measured data. Five different base temperatures ranging from 24 to $16^{\circ}C$ were chosen in the calculation of heating degree days. And yearly heating degree days were given in the tabular form.

Optimization of PI Controller Gain for Simplified Vector Control on PMSM Using Genetic Algorithm

  • This paper proposes the used of genetic algorithm for optimizing PI controller and describes the dynamic modeling simulation for the permanent magnet synchronous motor driven by simplified vector control with the aid of MATLAB-Simulink environment. Furthermore, three kinds of error criterion minimization, integral absolute error, integral square error, and integral time absolute error, are used as objective function in the genetic algorithm. The modeling procedures and simulation results are described and presented in this paper. Computer simulation results indicate that the genetic algorithm was able to optimize the PI controller and gives good control performance of the system. Moreover, simplified vector control on permanent magnet synchronous motor does not need to regulate the direct axis component current. This makes simplified vector control of the permanent magnet synchronous motor very useful for some special applications that need simple control structure and low cost performance.
