Background: This study was undertaken to identify the socio-demographic determinants of quit attempts among smokers and smokeless tobacco users to identify correlates of tobacco cessation behaviour in India Materials and Methods: This was a cross-sectional study for the outcome of quit attempts made by current tobacco users in last 12 months in twelve districts in two states. Simple and multivariable logistic regression analysis was used to obtain the odds ratios (ORs) of socio-demographic variables (age, gender, education, occupation, socio-economic status, community, area, type of family) and tobacco user status (smoker/smokeless). Results: In the combined analysis, a smoker had higher predicted probability of attempting quitting (OR-1.41,CI 1.14-1.90), in comparison to a smokeless tobacco user and a tobacco user in the state of Gujarat was less likely to attempt quitting than a user in Andhra Pradesh (OR-0.60, CI 0.47-0.78). The probability of making a quit attempt was higher among tobacco users who were more educated (OR-1.40, CI 1.04-1.94), having a higher socio-economic status (SES) (OR-2.39, CI 1.54-3.69), and belonging to non-agricultural labourer occupational group (OR-1.90, CI 1.29-2.78). The effects were maintained even after adjusting for all other variables. In disaggregated analysis, findings were similar except in smokeless as a separate group, education level was not significantly associated with quit attempts and with lower odds (OR-0.91, CI 0.58-1.42). Conclusions: This is one of the first studies to provide useful insight into potential determinants for quit attempts of tobacco users in India including smokeless tobacco users, exploring the socio-demographic patterning of correlates of quit attempts.

도서관 웹사이트는 도서관 정보자원과 이용자를 연결해주는 수단이자 매개체이다. 그러나, 기존의 도서관 웹사이트와 검색시스템은 정보자원에의 검색방식 및 접근방법이 대부분 비장애인 이용자를 대상으로 설계되어, 장애인 이용자는 도서관 웹사이트를 통한 도서관 정보자원에의 접근과 이용에 큰 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이와 같은 도서관서비스는 장애인 이용자에게 도서관 웹사이트 및 정보자원에의 접근성을 저하시키는 요인으로 작용되기 때문에, 장애인 이용자의 도서관 정보자원에의 접근성을 향상시키기 위해서는 도서관 웹사이트에의 접근 편의성과 검색 용이성, 정보자원의 제공 충분성 등이 제공되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 장애인 이용자의 정보요구에 대한 만족도를 높이고, 도서관 웹사이트의 접근성과 검색 용이성 등을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안이자 차후 장애인을 위한 도서관 웹사이트의 검색시스템을 구축하는 데 필요한 토대연구로, 우리나라의 국 공립 도서관 웹사이트의 검색시스템에 대해 현황조사 및 분석을 실시한다. 그리고 조사결과를 바탕으로 개선방안을 간단하게 나열한다.

This study surveys 212 accounting information systems (AIS) of 85 manufacturing firms by using the research model based on the management process of AIS to figure out the current status and problems of the computing environment and AIS of Korean firms. The analysis of the current status leads to the suggestions to promote the utilization and efficiency of AIS. The level of experiences and education of information system (IS) personnel turns out to be still low. More education is needed to upgrade the IS personnel. AIS users lack in the computer knowledge. The users need more computer education. The analysis on the computerization and information characteristics of the AIS subsystems shows that the computerization is well established in the financial accounting area. On the other hand, the computerization for managerial accounting areas is in its early stage. The managerial accounting systems need be developed to support the managerial decision making effectively. The majority of firms develop the AIS by their own IS teams. When firms use the consulting services in developing AIS, they prefer accounting firms. The majority of firms fail to evaluate the AIS because the evaluation tools are not available. Most firms do not perform the auditing for AIS. It is needed to develop the tool and techniques for evalauation and auditing AIS.

본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관 공간 활용 현황 분석을 통해 공간 활용도를 향상시키기 위한 고려 사항들을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 첫째, 대학도서관의 이용자 공간을 범주화하고 그에 따른 이용률을 분석하였으며, 둘째, 이용자 공간의 특성에 따른 주요 이용자 그룹의 선호도를 분석하였다. 셋째. 구체적인 이용자 그룹별 공간 선호 요인을 판별하고, 넷째, 분석 결과를 바탕으로 효율적인 도서관 공간을 설계하기 위한 시사점과 개선 방안을 제안하였다. 실증적인 분석을 위해 국립 J대학의 중앙도서관을 대상으로 1년간 누적된 이용자 공간 이용 데이터(98,282명, 433,769건)를 수집·정제하여 공간별, 기간별(월별, 시간별)로 이용 패턴을 파악하였다. 또한 동 기간 내 도서관 방문자 전체 데이터(2,426,553건)를 통해 도서관의 주요 이용자 그룹(학부생, 대학원생, 졸업생)을 도출, 이용자 그룹별 공간 특성에 따른 선호도를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 대학도서관의 이용자 공간의 구성 및 배치를 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

This study aimed to examine the current status of mobile applications for garden design and extract valuable contents for the development of garden design programs for future reference. Mobile applications released in Korean or English on Google Play App Market as of July, 2018 were analyzed in this study (1 application in Korea and 14 applications overseas). The purposes of this study are to analyze the components of the programs for those who actually intend to create a garden and to use it as a resource for developing mobile applications for garden design. Thus, program components and contents were analyzed for garden design applications based on real space (1 application in Korea and 3 applications overseas) that could actually help users. The analysis of mobile applications for garden design shows that while overseas garden programs are rapidly developing in various fields, the number of garden design mobile applications developed in Korea and the amount of information platforms are significantly insufficient. This study suggested flowchart for garden design mobile applications based on the analysis results of existing garden design application. This flowchart includes a series of processes from planning/designing gardens to purchasing plants and facilities to constructing/maintaining gardens for users who intend to design and create a real garden. Furthermore, this study proposed a freemium business model based on 4R(Reflex, Reality, Real place, Real communication) marketing strategies for mobile applications. Realistic experiences can be increased through graphics and information about gardens and plants provided in this study, and location-based information services as well as the creation of systems connected with vendors and suppliers of products related to gardens can induce consumers' purchasing behaviors. Additionally PR activities through various garden-related cultural events are expected to attract more users.

We present the current operation status of StarDB web services by showing its user access statistics. The StarDB web services started its operation in late November, allowing world-wide users to access results of new variability analysis for Northern Sky Variability Survey light curves. New analysis results of various time-series data have been added to the StarDB services. Importantly, our services have supported a simple cone search, which is an internationally well-defined catalog search interface in the international Virtual Observatory systems. We have collected user access statistics such as how users find our analysis data since its operation in later November. We expect our analysis of the StarDB operation to help Korean community members who plan and operate their own web services preparing for a future era of big survey data.

Purpose - This study posits that sustainable mobility of the sharing economy plays a key role to consider environment benefits. The purpose of this study is to investigate the bicycle-sharing economy as an emerging and alternative mode of transportation service and provide managerial and policy implications. The bicycle-sharing economy is still at an early stage of introduction as a transportation mode, while the governmental sector is promoting public bicycle-sharing to encourage bicycle as a substitute for private cars. Research design, data, and methodology - This study analyzed the current status of bicycle sharing programs through a survey that was distributed randomly to users and non-users across the country. Using factor analysis, satisfaction and loyalty for the existing users and intention to use and expected satisfaction for the potential users were examined in relation to utility factors. Results - The results show that economic utility affects satisfaction for user, while storage, mobility, and economic utility affects intention to use for potential users. The findings of this study indicate that in order to promote a bicycle-sharing scheme, it would be better to focus on the scheme's economic advantage to be truly effective. Conclusions - The findings of the study could be applicable to future directions of the sharing economy as a means to achieve the sustainable development of society.

This study analyzed the electric vehicle recharging station status with recharging time limitation due to long waiting time, and figured out the user status by user interviews. And then this study verified the validity of hypothesis in terms of environmental design perspective and suggested layout of recharging station model. 21 recharging stations in Korea and station operation cases of 7 countries were examined. Except for the USA, the reality of electric vehicle recharging station today is the 1st proving stage focusing on the infrastructure construction of electric vehicle recharging station. It focuses on performance of recharging facility, use efficiency and operation environment of electric vehicle. About the effective waiting time of the user to use it should be studied. The current conditions of recharging station are as follows: Lack of independent recharging space, lack of facility that reduces external effect of recharging space, and lack of lounge for users during the waiting time. These three are essential factors constructing a suggesting model after basic layout, which needs proper measurement on the long recharging time and long waiting time. The essential factors are applied to electric vehicle recharging station layout so that users might use 'digital refresh" i.e. lounge and information contents service during the waiting time which provides convenience of recharging and emotional space with users. Such upgrade recharging station environmental model might resolve the burden of long recharging time which may contribute to the popularization of electric vehicles.

The study analyzed behaviors of users in cafeterias and spatial environmental images as well to understand what factors would affect the users' satisfaction in the cafeterias. The study also looked into how interior space factors would influence the users, what the users actually want from the cafeterias when they use them and lastly, what kinds of behaviors the users would do while in the cafeteria. Through those researches, the study proposed solutions to improve the users' satisfaction in cafeterias. As a field survey research, the study observed actual conditions of cafeterias at a university as conducting spatial environmental analysis to present ways to improve students' satisfaction in cafeterias at their university. In order to achieve the research goal, the study carried out a literature analysis and a survey and visited the cafeterias to understand both actual conditions and environments of cafeterias at a university. The study also had in-depth interviews with the students. The subject of the study was those college students who have been using four cafeterias at three campuses of D university. Data was collected via surveys, observations and interviews. With the students as the research subject, the study investigated and analyzed current status of the students' using of the cafeterias, actual utilization, spatial factors and satisfaction factors. The study was mainly developed with a survey conducted and by distributing basically 200 copies of the survey each to the campuses, the study gave out 200 copies each to Suseong Campus in Daegu and Oseong Campus in Gyeongsan but 400 copies at a time to Samsung Campus in Gyeongsan because it was the main campus and had two cafeterias. To sum up, each department was instructed to answer 20~40 copies of the survey in the end. Out of 800 copies in total, 188 copies from Oseong Campus, 153 copies from Suseong Campus and 386 copies from Samsung Campus which would add up to 727 were observed to be faithful enough to be used as statistics for the study.

While the body of cases on startup has grown substantially, there has been a lack of a one-stop gateway of entrepreneurship. The study attempts to build a subject gateway for startup information services based on case studies, users' needs analysis, and literature reviews. The results show that users have difficulty in selecting useful information since the excess of information and the search for the desired information as it is scattered across a wide range of sources. The study designed a subject gateway by a navigation system that enables flexible browsing within the entire gateway through the ontology modeling. The study also presented an example of startup records to display how startup information can be explored. This study is expected to contribute to the understanding of the current status related to business startup services. The business startup digital gateways based on empirical data analysis will contribute to extending library service for startup.
