현재 지역경제의 소득과 자금은 수도권으로 유출되고 있으며, 지역발전의 원동력인 인재들 역시 수도권으로 모여 지역의 경제는 심각한 위기에 직면해 있다. 지역화폐는 지방자치단체가 발행 주체이며, 해당 지역 안에서만 통용이 가능한 보조, 보완기능의 화폐이다. 지역경제 활성화를 위하여 지자체의 지역화폐 도입에 대한 이목 이 집중되면서 지역화폐의 발행 및 활용에 관한 연구가 계속하여 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 포털, SNS 등의 데이터 자료를 빅데이터를 활용하여 지자체 지역에서 발행되고 있는 지역화폐에 대한 소비자 이미지 분석을 통한 인식 파악과 함께 연구 결과를 바탕으로 지역화폐 발행 및 운영에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역화폐의 정책적 발행을 통해 지역 소비를 유도하여 지역의 경제적 소득 증대 효과를 보이고 있으며, 둘째, 지자체는 지역화폐 발행과 유통으로 경제 활성화와 지역 경제의 선순환 시스템 구축에 힘을 기울이는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 블록체인 기술 도입으로 지역화폐의 안정적인 운영 실태를 보여주고 있다. 학술적 의의로 지역화폐의 정책의 방향성과 빅데이터 분석을 통하여 지역화폐에 대한 변화된 모습과 효과를 파악할 수 있었다.

I introduce a derivative called "Snowball Currency Option" or "USDKRWSnowball Extendible At Expiry KO" which was traded once in the over-the-counter market in Korea. A snowball currency option consists of a series of maturities the payoffs at which are like those of a long position in a put option and two short position in an otherwise identical call. The strike price at each maturity depends on the exchange rate and the previous strike price so that the strike prices are random and path-dependent, which makes it difficult to find a closed form solution of the value of a snowball currency option. I analyze the payoff structure of a snowball currency option and derive an upper and a lower boundaries of the value of it in a simplified model. Furthermore, I derive a pricing formula using integral in the simplified model.

본 연구에서는 영국의 파운드화, 일본의 엔화 등 선진 통화선물시장과 한국의 원화, 멕시코의 페소화, 브라질의 리알화 등 신흥 통화선물시장의 효율성을 측정 및 비교하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 분석에 이용된 자료는 시카고상업거래소(CME)에 상장되어 있는 영국 파운드화, 일본 엔화, 멕시코 페소화, 브라질 리알화 통화선물가격과 한국증권선물거래소(KRX)에 상장되어 있는 한국 원화 통화선물가격과 이에 대응되는 각 국가의 현물환율 자료이며, 각 국가의 선물가격과 현물환율은 미국달러를 기준통화로 하는 유럽식 표기법으로 표시하였다. 선물가격은 잔차항의 자기상관 문제를 야기할 수 있는 중복된 기간을 피하기 위하여 표본기간동안 동일한 간격인 만기 14일전과 만기 28일전의 선물가격으로 구성하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 신흥통화 선물시장의 한국 원화 선물 가격은 선진통화 선물시장의 일본 엔화 선물가격과 함께 예측기간에 관계없이 만기일 실현 현물 환율의 불편추정치로서, 위험프리미엄이 없이 만기일 실현 현물환율을 예측하고 있다. 둘째, 한국 원화 선물가격은 브라질 리알화와 멕시코 페소화 등 다른 신흥통화 선물시장의 선물가격과 달리 위험프리미엄이 없이 만기일 실현 현물환율을 예측하고 있다. 셋째, 통화선물의 종류, 예측기간, 검증방법에 따라 불편기대가설의 검증 결과는 달라질 수 있음을 보여주고 있다. 넷째, 일본 엔화와 영국 파운드화 등 선진통화 선물시장간의 상대적 효율성을 비교하면, 일본 엔화 선물시장의 효율성 측정치는 27.06%로 영국 파운드화 선물시장의 효율성 측정치 26.87% 보다 높게 나타나고 있어 일본 엔화 선물시장이 영국 파운드화 선물시장보다 효율적임을 보여주고 있다. 다섯째, 한국 원화, 브라질 리알화와 멕시코 페소화 등 신흥통화 선물시장간의 상대적 효율성을 비교하면, 한국 원화 선물시장의 효율성은 20.77%로 측정되어, 멕시코 페소화 선물시장의 효율성 측정치 11.55%, 브라질 리알화 선물시장의 효율성 측정치 4.45% 보다 높게 나타나고 있어 한국 원화 선물시장이 다른 멕시코 페소화 및 브라질 리알화 등 다른 신흥통화 선물시장보다 효율적임을 보여주고 있다. 끝으로 통화선물시장의 상대적 효율성 측정치는 예측기간에 따라 영향을 받으며, 예측기간이 짧을수록 효율성 측정치가 개선되고 있음을 보여준다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the consumption cultural meaning of Community Currency Movement - a substitute currency institution - through an analysis of consumption behaviors and attitudes of Hanbat-LETS participants, who are recognized as the most active among Korea Community Currency Movements. The analytical method adopted in this study is the participation and observation method, along with the Focus Group Interview. Major findings are as follows: Hanbat-LETS participants experienced the following consumption behaviors and attitudes: economical consumption behavior creating the currency value, sustainable consumption behavior, consumption behavior shared with community, consumption behavior free from the need of competition and ownership, satisfaction from offering one's property, equal status and relationship among members, merry and happy attitude toward life. Community Currency Movement implies the consumption cultural meaning as followings: emergence of alienation through the realization of community society, practice of environment-friendly value, activation of region economy, development of one's ability and means of redemption of unemployment, construction of trustworthy society via trust.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of ethical consumption in the Community Currency Movement participant's daily life as a consumer. Qualitative research methods are used for the understanding about the participation activities and the daily lives as a consumer of Hanbat LETS participants'. The characteristics of ethical consumption used for analysing of the Community Currency Movement are the subjective participation, production process-aware consumption, others care to consumption, sustainable consumption, voluntarily simple life. The major results of this study show that the Community Currency Movement is the alternative economic system practicing the ethical consumption. The Community Currency Movement increase the subject participation, realize the social responsibility and community society and the ecological value and voluntary simple life. This research get the meaning for considering the Community Currency Movement & the ethical consumption on the discriminatory perspective.

The purpose of this study is to examine the residents' life style affected by community-oriented behavior, and to assess the implication of changes in communities and in the participants' sense of community resulted from the Community Currency Movement in Korea. 4 Community Currency organizations were selected for this study and some methodologies such as field research, survey of actual conditions and depth interview research were used, By using of this methodology. We can analyze the characteristics of Community Currency Movement in Korea and the degree of participants' sense of community. As a result of this study, it was found that the residents recognized 'new' community and felt 'a sense of belonging' by exchanging the community currency. They have also expanded 'a sense of responsibility' for the community through the exchange of this currency. Along with this change of attitude, participants have made a new community norms and they have been more or less controled by the norm. Moreover, the emotional satisfaction and the needs for improving self-esteem have been realized within the community, and the intimacy as well as solidarity have been built up and enhanced. In conclusion, the Community Currency Movement gives a significant implication to the communities that seek to solve the community problems of the contemporary society through the communal effort by the residents themselves. Furthermore, in terms of community welfare, this process will be of an immense help in reinforcing self-help ability of the residents effectively.

2007-2009년도 글로벌 금융 위기 동안 한국 조선 산업은 급격한 환율 변동으로 인해 커다란 환리스크에 직면하였다. 이러한 환경 하에서 많은 조선 기업들이 환리스크를 관리하기 위해 외환 파생 상품을 널리 도입, 사용하였다. 이러한 맥락 하에서 본 연구는 외환 파생 상품 활용이 해외 수주액에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 한다. 특히 자산 및 매출액에 다른 회사의 규모뿐만 아니라 금융 위기 이전과 이후로 구분하여 조선 산업에 미치는 영향을 구체적으로 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구는 한국조선해양플랜트협회(KOSHIPA) 및 한국조선공업협동조합(KOSIC)에서 발표하는 통계자료를 토대로 "t-검정", 분산분석 및 공분산분석을 이용하여 설정된 가설을 검증하였다. 분석의 결과 회사의 규모와 연도에 따라 외환 파생상품에 활용에 유의적인 관계가 있음을 나타내고 있다.

본 가상통화 거래소의 법적 성격과 가상통화를 보유한 이용자가 가지는 권리를 중심으로 하는 법률적인 문제를 다루고자 하였다. 중앙 당국이나 중개인이 거래의 유효 여부를 결정하고 거래 기록을 관리하는 기존의 금융시장과는 달리, 가상통화 시장에서는 블록체인의 기술에 기반으로 한 탈중앙화 시스템으로 작동되고 있다. 이와 같은 가상통화의 특수성은 화폐, 금전, 금융상품 중 어느 범주에도 속한다고 보기 어렵다. 따라서 가상통화와 유사한 기능을 수행하는 수단에 적용되는 법리를 검토하여야 한다. 또한 가상통화 거래소를 통해서 이용자들은 간접적으로 가상통화 권리를 보유한다. 그러나 가상통화가 소유권의 객체 대상이 될 수 있는지 살펴보아야 한다. 본 연구결과는 아직까지 가상통화 거래소에서 거래에 대한 법적보호 장치가 미흡하다는 것을 확인하였다. 국내의 법체계는 이용자들의 권리를 뒷받침하기에는 미흡한 점이 많다. 본 연구가 기여한 바는 가상통화 거래소에서 발생한 전산장애로 피해를 본 이용자들이 증권시장과 같은 보호 장치를 필요로 하는 것을 확인하였다. 이로 인해 이용자 자신의 권리를 보호할 수 있는 법적 관리 및 시스템 규제에 대한 연구가 요청된다. 그리고 거래소에서 보관하고 있는 가상통화에 대한 정보, 이용자에 대한 개인정보 보호 의무에 대한 연구도 필요하다.
