  • It was investigated to evaluate the characteristics of cement-flyash paste affected the replacement level, curing method and chemical admixtures. The strength of cement-flyash paste was lower than that of cement paste only and the differences increased with increasing the replacement level. However, in steam curing, the strength of cement-flyash pastes was improved and specially, the early strength was effectively increased. In order to improve the early strength, the use of $Na_2SO_4$ in cement-flyash paste increased the quality of concrete. In addition, the strength of concrete including 30% of fly ash has improved and obtained the highest strength compared to other concrete mix.

  • In this paper, thin films of PI were fabricated VDPM of dry processes which are easy to control the film's thickness and hard to pollute due to volatile solvents. From FT-IR, PAA thin films fabricated by VDP were changed to PI thin films by thermal curing. From AFM and ellipsometer experimental, the higher curing temperature is, the films thickness decreases and reflectance increases. Therefore, PI could be fabricated stable by increasing curing temperature.

  • Nowadays, Government is modifying envioronment regulatons, but PC factories, having been constructed in 1990, are running out heavy cost in disposal of waste concrete, and hardly studying how accelerator curing method affects in compressive strength. In this study, possibility that waste concrete, produced in PC factory, can be used in PC products, is reviewed, and them captures strength characteristics by curing method. The results can be summed as follows. In order to recycle concrete the mix ratio of recycled aggregate to 50 percent of less than must decrease also in summer of four seasons strength gap by curing method is very small.

  • The research on anticorrosive of valve for ship, waterworks, and drainage system is very important. The purpose of this paper is to develop the metal/polyurethan adhesive technique at insider of the value to prevent corrosion in the value. It is performed to the bending strength test by using metal /polyurethan in the metals (SB41, Al6061). It is investigated to the effects of bending strength on curing temperature, preheating time and curing time, and to the fracture mechanism of metal/polyurethan adhensived specimen. As a results, we find that the bending strength is the highest at curing temperature of 11$0^{\circ}C$ and the curing time is 60 minutes in metal/polyurethan adhesive specimen.

  • After inquiring into physical characteristics of using fly ash and alkali solution, it was found that higher pH density is favorable to strength development at early age and the higher the age is, the higher the compressive strength gets. Also, it was found that when there is more addition of activator, the compressive strength is higher. I was shown that more than atmospheric curing, steam curing was favorable for development of compressive strength. When the temperature of curing temperature was higher, most of the compressive strengths were higher. Thus, based on this study, it was understood that environmental-friendly chemically combined concrete using fly ash and alkali solution can be utilized without using cement.

  • This paper examines the electrical properties according to a curing time and a corona degradation in epoxy composites which are used for transformers. To consider these phenomena, the electrets were formed by appling high voltages to five kinds of specimens designed according to a constant mixing rate and then TSC(Thermally Stimulated Current) values at the temperature range of -160-200[>$^{\circ}C$] were measured from a series of experiments. The behaviour of carrier and its possible origins in epoxy composites were studied. Various effects of curing time and electric field on epoxy composites were also investigated.

  • In This study, we tried to review an efficient curing method in consideration of safety and constructability among the problems of winter construction. In other words, as a result of the mock-up test, the measured value of carbon monoxide was 0 ppm in the case of an electric hot air fan. Since there is no carbon monoxide, problems such as suffocation are expected to be solved. In terms of temperature characteristics, electric hot air fans exhibited high thermal efficiency performance with a slight difference in upper/lower temperatures compared to the existing ones. In the future, we plan to conduct thermal efficiency evaluation through actual site performance verification. We will propose an efficient curing method through applicability evaluation.

  • Recently, research is being conducted on geopolymers using industrial by-products as a cement substitute to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from the construction industry. Since geopolymers use industrial by-products, their performance varies depending on the type of alkali activator used, curing temperature, etc. Therefore, as part of a study to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from the construction industry, this study mixed blast furnace slag powder and ferronickel slag powder as cement substitutes, and compared and analyzed the fluidity and compressive strength of no-cement composites according to curing temperature.

  • An experiment was camed out in 1994 to determine the effects of curing periods and preservatives on the characteristics and forage quality of baled alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.) hay after 60 days of storage. The main plots consisted of the curing periods such as 5 and 7 days, and the subplots consisted of preservatives such as commercial propionic acid preservative, lactic inoculant and control. Temperature during storage remained lower in 7 days cured hay bale than in 5 days and didn't rise over $30^{\circle}C$ in 7 days cured hay bale. After storage, bale with 7 days curing remained in better condition by visual assessment and DM loss of the bale was 21.4% with 5 days curing and 11.8% with 7 days curing. ADF and NDF contents of 5 days cured baled hay were 43.0 and 56.1%. respectively, which were lower than those of 7 days cured baled hay by 1.3 and 1.4%, respectively(P< 0.05). ADF and NDF contents of preservative treated baled hay were higher than those of the control(P<0.05). According to RFV, forage quality of the control and inoculant treated baled hay of 5 days curing, and the control of 7 days curing was classified as 3rd grade, but other baled hay was classified as 4th grade. The total nitrogen content of 5 days cured baled hay was 1.84% and 7 days was 1.38%(P<0.05). Significant differences(P<0.05) in total N content of baled alfalfa hay were found among the preservatives. ADIN/total N of 5 and 7 days cured baled alfalfa hays was 28 and 26%. respectively.

  • The curing mechanism and characteristics of UV curable acrylate resins were studied using Photo-DSC, FTIR, and Raman spectroscopy. Effects of chemical structures of acrylate, numbers of functional group, and UV intensity on curing kinetics were investigated with Photo-DSC. FTIR and Raman spectroscopy has been used to understand curing mechanisms and reaction conversion. In order to investigate the effect of oxygen on the photo-curing reaction, the curing process was compared between the acrylate and thiol-ene resins. The reaction conversion was found to be less than 80% for acrylate resins. The photo-curing reaction of the acrylate resin could not proceed to the end because of oxygen which acts as a reaction inhibitor while the thiol-ene resin was hardly affected from oxygen during the curing process.
