  • With shifting the paradigm to digital economy, the digital industry becomes one of the national strategic industries. The digital industry has not only significant effects on forward and backward related industries but is also creating its own value. Furthermore, the effects of conversion with diverse products also play an important role in adding value. Since the early 2000s, Korea's culture so called 'Hallyu' (Korean wave) has been spreading to neighboring Asian countries such as China, Japan, Hong Kong, Therefore we have a good opportunity to increase our competitiveness with the development of the digital content industry using various base resources in conjunction with the spread of Hallyu culture in the Southeast Asian region. In this paper we attempt to suggest several schemes to promote our exports of digital contents while analyzing the current status of the Korean digital industry and addressing some problems and barriers to the export of the digital content industry. There are several schemes to be proposed in order to promote Korean exports of digital contents, as follows: 1) to foster global digital contents, 2) to establish a supporting system, 3) to build a marketing and R&D center, 4) to operate a test-bed of digital contents and 5) to fund expenses such as marketing.

The results find that there was no significant change in the work autonomy (work order, work method, work speed) of the content industry worker in In the overall sample. On the other hand, analyzing the sample of 30 or more employee establishment size shows that work autonomy of the content industry worker is greatly reduced. It also suggests that compensation and management systems are needed to enhance the competitiveness of the content industry.

  • The mineral contents, and free amino acid, and fatty acid composition of rack and bag or suspended cultured oysters Crassostrea gigas were compared. The moisture content did not change much from 82.8% to 86.3% in the different culture methods. The glycogen level was low 4.7% during rack and bag culture but high 7.2% during suspended culture. The sodium level was the highest during suspended culture, while copper and zinc level were highest during rack and bag culture. The taurine level was 1,385-1,375 mg/100 g in oyster cultured using the rack and bag method, but that in the market sample was lowest at 1,015.8 mg/100 g. Hydroxyproline, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, and alanine were detected at high levels in the experimental oysters. The polyunsaturated fatty acid content was similar among samples. The docosahexaenoic acid level was 14% with rack and bag culture and 12% with suspended culture, whereas the eicosapentaenoic acid level was 15% with rack and bag culture and 20% with suspended culture. The atherogenic index (AI), thrombogenicity index (TI), and hypocholesterolemic/ hypercholesterolemic (h/H) ratio were important factors in the nutritional evaluation.
