This study aims to evaluate the cultural street and to find ways to revitalize a culture street. To achieve this, the study relied on empirical study method and the descriptive method; additionally, present condition survey was performed with a user interview. As a result, the item of 'night visit' shows the highest mean and the item of 'convenience of walking' follows. It means that this street has such a good condition in the convenience and accessibility of physical environment that it gives pedestrians pleasure like night activity and satisfying their curiosity. 5 lowest items of inquiry, however, are all about regional history and origin. It means that this cultural street did not reflect the history and embody the original form of the street. Also, this study proposes 4 type of street; a street with contents, a street with sequence, a street for pedestrians, and a street with identity.

The culture property which is designated with the domestic national treasure and the treasure does not manage protection or preservation as value of culture property of national form. South Gate which is a national treasure class culture property (Soong le) put on the large calamity which is lost with this fire. This thesis intends to understand the aspects of security danger from the research on actual condition of safety supervision department in cultural properties of Korea and propose security plans against disasters to cultural properties through the comparative study with Japan which is advanced nation of culture property prevention of disaster.

1. Metallurgical Properties of Iron artifacts excavated from Yangju-Mountain fortress were studied for the scientific conservation and metallurgical history of ancient Iron artifacts.2. Iron artifacts form Yangju-Mountain fortress were found to be the products of having well-established Carburizing and remelting technique in that period.3. These artifacts seem to be manufactured from very pure ores, because very pure ferrite structure and low impurity.4. Especially evidence of very suitable carburizing technic well-established and usealloying method of Fe-C system on purpose were found.5. Cast iron artifacts were found to be eutectic composition (4.31%) having lowestmelting point in Fe-C system.

We have conducted the study of distribution and inhabitation of the aerial algae from five stone cultural properties located in Gyeonggi-do. A total of 21 taxa were identified, among which 8 taxa of cyanophytes, 12 taxa of cholorophytes and one diatom species. Protococcus viridis, Ulothrix zonata, Synechocystis aquatilis and Chroococcus varius occurred in 15, 9, 8 and 7 study sites, respectively. These coccoid types appeared more frequently than filamentous types. In this study, Chlorococcum infusionum, Cylindrocystis gracilis, Klebsormidium crenulatum, Klebsormidium dissectum and Klebsormidium flaccidium newly recorded from Korea. We found that 80% of stone cultural properties had aerial algae and their 58-84% were grouped into Class 5 based on chlorophyll-a concentration.

In the field conservation treatment, it is important that the method chosen to lift an object out of the ground depends on its surrounding weather, strength, size, composition, and condition. This paper describes a physical support(Urethane bandage, De naturation - polyisoprene resin) created for lifting delicate relics in this field. The advantage of Urethane bandage method is of conveniently portable size, and it's convenient for use, while curing time is very fast.(approx. 5~10minute)Denaturation -polyisoprene resin is able to be soft by the hot water(approx. $60^{\circ}C$ ). so it's good to stick to the relic surface of an indeterminate form. The results of use of these reinforcement methods are of utility value.

The purpose of this study is clear the characteristic of the condition of conservation and rehabilitation by investigates of Modern Architecture (Cultural Properties 51, common architecture 93, total 144) in Kyoto-city. In registration system for conservation of Modern Architecture of Kyoto city, regulation is stricter than statute of country and various assistances of repair and so on are adopting more active incentive policy. The condition of ownership of Cultural Properties is almost corporation or foundation and individual ownership is dwindling. Various portion conservation ways (annex facade elements replica) are appearing by technique assistance means to keep the original form. It is increase that the conditions of rehabilitation are to commerce equipment or open to the public as like an exhibition hall. In case of renovate to commerce equipment, tendency as cultural-composition equipment is increasing as like a local community.

Doing business in multiple countries, multinational corporations (MNCs) are warmly welcomed for additional choices of products and services available to local consumers. But in other markets, they are viewed negatively as a means of cultural imperialism even though MNCs do not change their strategies much. While the literature remains muted about such unpredictable consumer reactions, this study explores how consumers form their cultural imperialism perceptions on incoming MNCs using the consumer attitude theory.

A costume study is a part of the cultural history and also has the greatest relation to life's senses as a concrete culture. Korean costume that consists a double structure with Chinese one through Chosun Dynasty five hundred years, has recently changed up to the Western Form. In this respect Korean Costume has a important meaning in relation to Western costume. Traditional costume, generally speaking, has tendency to keep up by the common people than the higher classes. Then there were four classes. They are aristocratic classes common people, those who are engaged in the form, industry, trade and low classes. Merchant of them partially took charge of the cultural exchange about contacting with tradition and new one. Because it's easy to flow in one's character the new civilization. So there is an important significance to research of the merchant's costume in Gae Hwa Gi changing age of civilization in politics, economic, and social system. The records appeared about the merchant's costume in the age of civilization through literature study and natural photo at that time.

In this research, the writer has done a comparative analysis of 4,791 trisyllabic modern Chinese vocabularies from "a dictionary for trisyllabic modern Chinese word" and the corresponding Korean words written in Chinese characters out of 170,000 vocabularies hereupon that are collected in "new age new Korean dictionar y". Aa a result, we have the total 407 pairs of corresponding group with the following 3 types: 1) Chinese : Korean 3(2) : 3 syllable Chinese characters with completely same form-morpheme and same meaning, use, class (376pairs, 92.38% of 407), 2) Chinese : Korean 3 : 3 syllable Chinese characters with completely same form-morpheme and partly same meaning, use, class (18pairs, 4.42% of 407), 3)Chinese : Korean 3 : 3 syllable Chinese characters with completely same form-morpheme and different meaning, use, class (13pairs, 3.19% of 407).

The Korean wave has become a global phenomenon whose effect has been widely studied in Asia, Europe and the US. However the presumption of cultural distance makes it appear unlikely that the Korean wave could gain traction among African consumers of cultural products. As such, a dearth of evidence exists on the effects of the wave in Africa. This paper examines the effect of the wave in East African countries employing both descriptive and Probit model analyses. The results show that, contrary to conventional beliefs, most Africans surveyed perceive value proximity with Korea through the values conveyed in Korean dramas, movies and music. Confucius values, such as filial piety, family love and respect for the elderly are the most appealing to the East African audience. Importantly, contact with Korean wave contents contributes to the respondents' disposition to form favorable attitude towards Korea. The African consumers of Korea's cultural products are equally likely to purchase other Korean commercial products. These results remotely suggest that Hallyu may be a tool for advancing Korea's soft power towards Africa and could generate positive economic externalities.
