SymbioCity관점에서 본 도시재생의 계획적 특성 고찰 : 스웨덴과 독일 사례를 중심으로 (Characteristics of Urban Regeneration Reflected upon SymbioCity Concepts : Focused on Sweden and Germany Examples)

  • The aim of this study was to present the direction of sustainable urban regeneration through the study of planning characteristics of urban regeneration reflected upon 'SymbioCity' concepts. This study was carried out through theoretical review and case study. In the theoretical review, the theory of 'SymbioCity', one of Sweden's representative urban development models linked to the concept of sustainable development, was reviewed and the framework was derived based on this theory. The framework of this study was finally derived from 'energy', 'ecology and environment', and 'historical and cultural resources'. The case study was conducted by selecting three urban regeneration projects($V{\ddot{a}}strahamnen$ BO01, Royal seaport and HafenCity Hamburg) in Sweden and Germany. Based on the results of case analysis, the direction of sustainable urban regeneration is as follows. First, in terms of energy, we should pay attention to synergy between energy and waste and energy production. Second, in terms of ecology and environment, plans should be made to maximize the use of existing resources in order to conserve natural resources and reduce energy consumption and economic costs. Third, in terms of historical and cultural resources, it is necessary to consider ways to preserve and recycle existing buildings with historical and cultural values. Finally, for the successful application of the planning elements, it is necessary to find the most appropriate application method through steady R&D in the country or project unit.

패스트패션(Fast Fashion) 현상에 대한 사회문화적 해석 (Socio-cultural Interpretation of Fast Fashion Phenomenon)

  • Interpreting the phenomenon of Fast fashion that is prevalent these days, this research is meaningful in that it prepares the frame which suggests the vision to read the trend of 2000s and analyzes the property of phenomenon of Fast Fashion in the connection with society and culture. The so[io-cultural property can be largely characterized by consumption orientation, change orientation, efficiency, moment and multiculturism. Analyzing the phenomenon of fast fashion that emerged after 2000 on the basis of such sociocultural background, it is largely classified into imitation, fashionability, disposability, portability, transformation and convergence. Due to the hi-polarization of consumption, people tend to select imitated goods, and people accustomed to speed get interested in the fashionability of all Phenomena. Further, society that is transient and changing rapidly makes the habit of purchasing in disposability. The property of nomad society encourages to keep the habit of portability. Such change-oriented society and rapidly changing life pattern make them adapt in diverse transformation modes of Fast Fashion. Further, multi-cultural world integrates enterprises through combination of all cultures and the convergence of all factors.

Effects of Sex Role Attitudes on Body Image and Appearance Management Behavior of Men in their 20s

  • The purpose of this study is to classify men in their 20s by their sex role attitudes, and to study their appearance management behavior and inner characteristic variables such as socio-cultural attitudes on appearance and bodily image, which are expected to influence the appearance management behavior of each classified group. For this, a survey of 393 males in the 20s in Seoul and metropolitan areas was conducted. Factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and F-test were conducted on the data. First, as a result of analysis on sex role attitudes, four groups were categorized: Masculinity, Femininity, Androgyny and Undifferentiation. Second, the analysis of individual variables resulted in appearance management behavior being separated into five categories: Interests in fashion, Proper choice of clothing, Importance of bodily attractiveness, Pursuit for personality and Complementation of physical weaknesses. The socio-cultural attitude on 'appearance' was sub-categorized into Internalization, and Awareness, while 'body image' was divided into Cognitive behavioral and Affective aspects. Regarding differences in socio-cultural attitudes for appearance, body image and metro-sexual lifestyle attitudes, the androgyny group produced the highest scores. Based on these results, it can be concluded that people who take care of their physical appearance, cope effectively with social and circumstantial requirements for happiness and success, and respond flexibly and affirmatively.

México: Ambiente, cultura y sociedad. Un análisis desde la perspectiva del modelo RECREA

  • In the Mexican territory the cultural diversity is associated with the environmental diversity, this is demonstrated by the presence of native groups that inhabit the regions of the country, which are characterized by the management of various natural resources that they obtain from the terrestrial and aquatic environments of each of the regions. Through the RECREA Model: complex thinking, information and communication technologies and research-action, complemented with fundamentals of geography, environmental geography, cultural ecology, field work and cartographic information, we explained and analyzed the association between environmental diversity and cultural diversity to demonstrate that in Mexico there are still links between the environment, society and culture, a situation that determines the existence of human groups that subsist in the context of a global capitalist system that extracts in an unsustainable way natural resources. Based on these results, an instructional model is made to put it to practice with international students, in this case from Japan and South Korea, to allow the observation of its functionality in transmitting the aforementioned results on environmental and cultural diversity in Mexico during the teaching-learning process.

현대 티셔츠에 나타난 문화정체성과 디자인 개발 (The Cultural Identity Found in Contemporary T-Shirts and the Development of Design)

  • The study was focused on surveying the cultural identity and the origin of T-shirts, and examining their functions. Six cities were selected to categorize the design motifs of cultural identity appearing in the design of contemporary T-shirts. These cities include a city in France, United Kingdom, Italy, United States and Japan where collections are currently presented at, and also a city in China that has shown a high economic growth as one of the most popular sightseeing cities. Cultural identity was presented in the T-shirts that were examined in this study through diversified design motifs. Motifs used in T-shirt designs to reflect cultural identity included national flags, notable places, letters, names of geographic places, and individuals. A national flag is a motif that signifies national identity and it was used in the front of T-shirts as it is or was just partially used. Also, many world-renowned structures or architectural buildings were applied to T-shirt design. Noted places such as the White House, the Statue of Liberty in the U.S., Tienanmen Square in China and the Eiffel Tower in France were used. The unique characters of language, such as Hangeul in Korea were used as design elements to reflect the structural characteristics of letters. Names of geographic places were used as design elements through the disclosure of the name of a symbolic city or a tourist site in each country. In terms of figures, not only the historical figures or celebrities from each country were used, but the image of bodies and faces that represent each culture were used as well. In addition, this study was used to develop T-shirt designs that reveal the cultural identity of Korea.

서천 일대의 생태자산 재구성을 통한 생태계서비스 제공 (Ecosystem services provision through the ecosystem property reconstitution around the Seocheon)

  • 수많은 지자체들이 대규모 개발 사업이나 지역축제를 통해 관광객을 유치하고자 한다. 그러나 현실적으로 성공가능성이 낮으므로, 투입비용에 비해 효율이 높은 친환경 생태 관광산업에 더 신경을 써야한다. 서천 지역은 우수한 생태 및 문화자원을 보유하고 있었음에도 크게 주목받지 못하였지만, 국립생태원과 국립해양생물자원관이 새롭게 개원하면서 새로운 생태 관광의 중심지로 부상할 가능성이 높아졌다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 서천 일대에 분포하는 여러 생태 문화적 자산을 분석한 후 생태계서비스의 주요 기능인 생태관광을 도입하여 생태관광의 3요소인 자연환경, 탐방객, 지역민들이 모두 만족할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하고자 하였다. 해안과 하안이 만나는 곳에 위치한 서천 지역에서는 기존의 유명 관광지와 연계하여 4개의 권역으로 생태자산을 재구성할 수 있었다. 탐방객들을 머무르게 할 방안으로 체험 활동을 통해 지역에서 숙박을 하도록 유도하였으며, 슬로우 라이프의 실현을 위해 각 경관들을 천천히 즐기도록 설계하였다. 생태연구의 메카가 될 국립생태원과 국립해양생물자원관을 중심으로 인근의 금강 하구 철새도래지와 람사르습지로 지정된 서천 갯벌 주변으로 탐방객들을 인도할 수 있도록 프로그램도 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 서천을 방문하는 탐방객들이 만족하고, 지역민들의 삶도 윤택해질 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다.

청송군 이전리 당산숲의 경관 특성 및 보전 방안 (Characteristics of the Dangsan Forests at Ijeon-ri, Cheongsong-gun and Perspectives on Conservation Scheme)

  • 수백 년 전부터 농촌마을 주민들이 조성, 관리해 온 전통마을숲인 당산숲은 한국을 대표하는 전통 문화경관이며 국가적 문화자산이다. 문화유산은 진정성 유지와 함께 지속가능한 관리체계를 갖추어야 그 가치를 인정받을 수 있다. 현재, 규모가 큰 소수의 당산숲은 문화재청에 의해 천연기념물로 지정되어 있으나, 규모가 작거나 알려지지 않은 많은 당산숲은 방치되거나 소멸 위기를 맞고 있다. 이제 당산숲은 전통적인 한국 농촌마을의 특징을 결정짓는 핵심 경관자원으로서, 그 위상이 정립되어야할 때이다. 청송군 이전리의 두 개 자연마을은 작은 당산숲을 보호, 관리하고 있으며 그곳에서 당산제를 지낸다. 마을 위쪽에는 명승 제105호인 주산지가 있고 마을주민들은 주산지 물로 농사를 짓고 있다. 이 연구는 이전리 두 개 마을의 농경지, 하천 및 주산지를 포함한 당산숲 경관 특성을 고찰한 것이다. 또한 지속가능한 관리체계를 위한 농촌경관 보전 방법론으로, '농업경관생태 보전지역' 설정 등을 고찰하였다. 주목받지 못한 채 방치되고 있는 이전리 두 개 마을의 당산숲과 농촌경관 특성이 올바로 이해되고 관리된다면, 국가문화자산인 당산숲의 위상을 높이고, 농촌마을 활력 증진에 기여하는 사례가 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 문화경관은 인간의 자연자원이용과 그에 대한 자연의 반응이 조화롭게 어우러져 생긴 산물이다. 자연은 인간의 삶을 보장하기 위하여 그 생존에 필요한 자원 뿐만 아니라 생활에 필요한 자원도 공급하고 있다. 인간은 자연이 주는 이러한 혜택을 이용하여 문명화를 진전시켜 왔다. 얼마전까지 인간과 자연 사이의 관계는 조화의 관계를 유지하여 지속가능한 자원이용을 보장받아 왔고, 우리는 문화경관의 존재를 통하여 그 사실을 발견하고 있다. 그러나 급속도로 진행된 경제성장과 그것에 기인한 개발중심의 논리는 지구환경위기, 각종 자원고갈의 위기, 더 나아가 인간의 정신적 빈곤현상까지 몰고 왔다. 이러한 시점에서 인간과 자연 사이의 조화로운 관계의 전형인 문화경관을 대상으로 그 성립배경과 기능을 검토하고, 새로운 패러다임을 토대로 그 가치를 점검하는 것은 건강한 사회와 경제를 실현하기 위한 새로운 전략을 창조하는데 가치있는 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국의 문화경관의 성립배경을 검토하였고, 생태적, 경제적 측면에서 그것의 효용과 가치 그리고 문화전승의 장으로서 그 활용방안을 검토하였다.

섬유·패션기업의 지속가능성 실천 평가 연구 (Study on Practical Evaluation for Sustainability in Textile and Fashion Companies)

  • The practice of sustainability is an important subject to integrate into the management, product planning, manufacturing by textile and fashion companies as well as consumption by end-users. This study shows an evaluation scale designed to assess the practical cases in order to suggest efficient and systematic methods to fulfill the practice of sustainability in textile and fashion companies. First, companies should practice environmental sustainability to use eco-friendly material and cleaner production, protect the environment, and save natural resources. Second, social sustainability is required to fulfill social responsibility and ethical needs. Third, companies should perform various innovative activities, transparency in management, fair competition and economic contribution in the local community in order to maintain economic sustainability to survive in industry. Finally, cultural sustainability should be fulfilled by textile and fashion companies as part of the intellectual-cultural industry in a way that increases the importance of ethnic and cultural diversity. Textile and fashion companies should fulfill four environmental, social, and economic cultural sustainable subjects in a balanced method to accomplish sustainability. The concerns and practices of environmental sustainability are comparatively highly rated due to the analysis of the evaluation scale. However, cultural sustainability (a need of the times) is poorly rated and needs more attention. Therefore, the evaluation scale can be used as a standard tool to fulfill the sustainability of companies and brands from the viewpoint of improving poor and insufficiently sustainable items as well as balancing sustainability management.

대학생 소비자의 물질주의와 쾌락적.효용적 쇼핑가치 비교연구 : 한국, 미국, 일본 대학생을 대상으로 (Cross-Cultural Comparison of Materialism and Hedonic & Utilitarian Shopping Value : Using Korean, American, and Japanese College Students)

  • The objectives of this study are to compare the levels of materialism with hedonic-utilitarian shopping values among 645 college students in Ulsan and Seoul, Korea; Columbus, Ohio, USA; and Nagasaki, Japan, and to analyze the impact of materialism on hedonic-utilitarian shopping values. As for the levels of hedonic shopping values, the students in Japan and Ulsan had the highest of all, whereas for the levels of utilitarian shopping values, those in Ulsan had the highest. For the levels of materialism, the students in Ulsan had the highest of all and those in Seoul had the lowest. And three scales in the materialism had a different influence on hedonic-utilitarian shopping values.
