Purpose: Arts and cultural management are a field with unique meaning and significance. This study is uniquely based on the focus of arts and cultural management on social and cultural sustainability sets it apart from other related study fields. Through delving into arts and cultural management, one can quickly gain skills vis-à-vis creativity and innovation in traditional and emerging media platforms. Research design, data and methodology: The current researcher relied on the descriptive research design, arriving at and evaluating the findings. The descriptive research design was the most ideal because of the need to evaluate the various literature sources systematically and later describe them without undue influence. Results: This research's core finding of art and cultural management in the current literature may be split up four findings, such as (1) Art and Cultural Management is Fast Embracing Digital Innovations and Related Elements, (2) Data and Analytics in Art and Cultural Management, (3) Interdisciplinary Nature of Arts and Cultural Management Elements, and (4) Arts and Cultural Management Face Numerous Challenges that Define it and its Future. Conclusions: All in all, based on the literature findings, the present research concludes that It is incumbent upon the various stakeholders, such as the government, to prioritize the arts and cultural management field through adequate budgeting and allocation of money.

This work aims to clarify the character and selection of repair papers, based on fibre orientation information of paper cultural properties under restoration; using nondestructive image analysis applied to micrographs of paper surfaces. Image analysis using fast Fourier transform with suitable modifications was demonstrated to be an effective means to determine angle and intensity of fiber orientation as a nondestructive method. In the case of contemporary repair papers, the Japanese handmade paper exhibited a high anisotropy value, while the Korean handmade papers exhibited low anisotropy values. Korea and Japanese traditional hand making papers were well distinguished. Korea and Japanese papers made in the traditional ways showed its own characteristic orientation behavior in accordance with the motion of a bamboo wire.

This research applies the discursive approach to investigate the social transformation of students' conceptual model of differential equations. The analysis focuses on the students' use of metaphor in class in order to find kinds of metaphor used, their characteristics, and a pattern in the use of metaphor. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the students' conceptual model of differential equations gradually becomes transformed with respect to the historical and cultural structure of the communal practice of mathematics. The findings suggest that through participating in the daily practice of mathematics as a historical and cultural product, a learner becomes socially transformed to a certain kind of a cultural being with historicity. This implies that mathematics education is concerned with the formation of historical and cultural identity at a fundamental level.

문화재의 정밀 수치자료와 분석체계의 구축은 대상물의 보존과 복원을 위한 기초자료로서 매우 중요한 의미를 지니고 있다. 본 연구는 보다 효율적으로 문화재를 관리하기 위한 수치자료의 획득과 분석시스템의 구축에 관한 것이다. 분청사기 매병에 대해 소프트카피 사진측량기법을 적용하여 정밀 3차원 수치자료를. 구축하고 이를 기반으로 다양한 공간분석과 모니터링을 수행하므로써 문화재 보존을 위한 효율적인 방법을 제시하였다.

In this multi-cultural era, the cultural identity of each nation has appeared as a major issue, and needs to clearly define it through comparisons with other cultures have been raised. This research aims to analyze characteristics of traditional furniture of Korea and China according to residential culture and to find out their similarities and dissimilarities. ‘Banga’ in Korea ‘Sahapwon’ in China in the same era were selected for the comparison for traditional furniture between Korea and China. In the part of comparative analysis, characteristics of the furnitures are summerized based on classification into spatial system of housings and types of furniture. After that, traditional residential cultural differences between two countries that reflected on characteristics of furniture are distinguished and compared. The result of analysis is expected to act a part role of defining the cultural identity of Korea.

The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of architectural history of designated cultural properties of modern educational facilities through the analysis of its status. This study considerate acceptance and evolution of modern educational facilities during the about seventy years from 1895 to 1965. Also, this study analyzes items that is distribution of construction and designation year, regional groups, and status of main structure material, status of conservation and utilization of facilities, its characteristics of architectural style. In this study, the result of analysis show that most analysis items of investment buildings are tend to biased and concentration to one direction. Accordingly, designated cultural properties of modern educational facilities are weakly express architectural representation and symbolism in the period of modern educational acceptance.

We have evaluated the antifungal activities of oak vinegar to develop a natural biocide for organic cultural heritage. Fungi used in this study were screened from the cultural heritages, Kyujanggak and JanggyeongPanjeon and tested on organic substrates-degrading ability. In the results, 7 species of fungi have produced the extracellular enzymes to degrade CMC, xylan, lignin. Thus, we have used these seven species fungi to investigate the antifungal activity of oak vinegar in this study. In the result, the antifungal activity of oak vinegar indicated positive potencial. Especially, methylene chloride and ethylacetate fractions of the oak vinegar had high activities at the concentration of 5.0mg/disc. In these fractions, many different kinds of compounds such as phenolic and furfural, etc. were analyzed by GC-MS. The experiments indicated that the development of a biocide using natural extracts can have a potential to conserve of organic cultural heritages.

By changing housing market, housing cultural center furnishes information, value added, image of housing. For publicity their unique house, construction companies provide not only concrete and substantial material but also sensible and capacity service through the community space of housing cultural center. The consumer's experience of housing cultural center have an effect on purchase power apartment. The image of enterprise is important to select commodities to consumers. Though main clients are women, housing cultural center has not space concept and aim to concern for them. According to begin women a group of consumers, they have purchasing power in family. Apartment is no exception. Housing cultural center is used as continuous culture space that provide various experiential chance for consumer, especially women by systematize and distinct design detail and feature component. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is an analysis about community space of housing cultural center with the woman marketing based on experience.

The Industrial/Technological Cultural Properties are being protected, the rest facing with demolition and damages. In order to better cope with such situation, Korea has officially introduced the Registered Cultural Properties System since 2001 and began acknowledging the historical values of industrial buildings as modern cultural properties. In the Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, there are approximately 3,500 industrial buildings under the cultural asset protection and management not only in the Ruhr-region but also state-wide. Among these, this case study focuses on the Hansa Coking Plant, a large-scale Revitalization project to rehabilitate the old industrial complexes and facility buildings that have been shut down on December 15, 1992. Purpose of this study is to analyze main project plans of each facility in the Hansa Coking Plant and to bring out the main features of the plans, so that they can be utilized to find suggestions for Industrial/Technological Cultural Properties Revitalization in Korea.

The cultural background of users utilizing image search engines has a significant impact on the satisfaction of the search results. Therefore, it is important to analyze and understand the cultural context of images for more accurate image search. In this paper, we investigate how the cultural context of images can affect the performance of image classification. To this end, we first collected various types of images (e.g,. food, temple, etc.) with various cultural contexts (e.g., Korea, Japan, etc.) from web search engines. Afterwards, a deep transfer learning approach using VGG19 and MobileNetV2 pre-trained with ImageNet was adopted to learn the cultural features of the collected images. Through various experiments we show the performance of image classification can be differently affected according to the cultural context of images.
