Even though the Internet applications such as e-mail and FTP are widely used, fax is still an important media for data communications till today. Many researches on security over the Internet data communication have been done over the years, on the other hand not many researches have been dedicated to the fax security issue which is as important as the Internet. In this paper, we describe the development of hardware and software of the embedded security fax server which increases the security in supporting existing fax. The developed system is designed and implemented to maintain security while minimizing the delay due to encryptionㆍdecryption. Since there's international or domestic tryptographic standard and each nation have their policy to restrict the use of cryptographic system, we adopt domestic standard cryptographic protocol admitted in Korea. And the system supports two modes: Security mode and Non-Security mode that user can choose from. The system can be applied directly which is the requirements of users at company ,End the government. We verify the performance and functioning of the system in various real environment.

The device to device (D2D) communication is an important and emerging area for future cellular networks. It is concerned about all aspect of secure data transmission between end devices along with originality of the data. In this paradigm, the major concerns are about how keys are delivered between the devices when the devices require the cryptographic keys. Another major concern is how effectively the receiver device verifies the data sent by the sender device which means that the receiver checks the originality of the data. In order to fulfill these requirements, the proposed system able to derive a cryptographic key using a single secret key and these derived keys are securely transmitted to the intended receiver with procedure called mutual authentication. Initially, derived keys are computed by applying robust procedure so that any adversary feel difficulties for cracking the keys. The experimental results shows that both sender and receiver can identify themselves and receiver device will decrypt the data only after verifying the originality of the data. Only the devices which are mutually authenticated each other can interchange the data so that entry of the intruder node at any stage is not possible.
The existing smart grid device authentication system is concentrated on DCU, meter reading FEP and MDMS, and the authentication system for smart meters is not established. Although some cryptographic chips have been developed at present, it is difficult to complete the PKI authentication scheme because it is at the low level of simple encryption. Unlike existing power grids, smart grids are based on open two-way communication, increasing the risk of accidents as information security vulnerabilities increase. However, PKI is difficult to apply to smart meters, and there is a possibility of accidents such as system shutdown by sending manipulated packets and sending false information to the operating system. Issuing an existing PKI certificate to smart meters with high hardware constraints makes authentication and certificate renewal difficult, so an ultra-lightweight password authentication protocol that can operate even on the poor performance of smart meters (such as non-IP networks, processors, memory, and storage space) was designed and implemented. As a result of the experiment, lightweight cryptographic authentication protocol was able to be executed quickly in the Cortex-M3 environment, and it is expected that it will help to prepare a more secure authentication system in the smart grid industry.

Message-locked encryption (MLE) is a widespread cryptographic primitive that enables the deduplication of encrypted data stored within the cloud. Practical client-side contributions of MLE, however, are vulnerable to a poison attack, and server-side MLE schemes require large bandwidth consumption. In this paper, we propose a new client-side secure deduplication method that prevents a poison attack, reduces the amount of traffic to be transmitted over a network, and requires fewer cryptographic operations to execute the protocol. The proposed primitive was analyzed in terms of security, communication costs, and computational requirements. We also compared our proposal with existing MLE schemes.
IKE, which is the standard key management protocol for IPSEC, is said to have several known problems. To resolve the problems of the IKE, two protocol proposals are being discussed in the IETF. the IKE version 2 and Just Fast Keying protocols. They should satisfy several protocol design requirements such as the protocol simplicity, the endurability against DOS attacks, the degree of the PFS, the identity protection, the cryptographic negotiation, and the authentication methods. In this paper, we summarize the characteristics of these two protocols and try to analyze their implications according to the protocol design requirements.

RFID system is a technique to obtain information of tag using radio frequency. Specificity of RFID systems using radio frequency has many problems that is eavesdropping, location tracking, spoofing attack, replay attack, denial of service attack. So, RFID protocol should be used cryptographic methods and mutual authentication for security and privacy. In this paper, we explain the problem of past protocol and propose the nonfixed symmetric key-based RFID mutual authentication protocol using shift computation and random number. Proposed protocol is secure from various attacks. Because it use shift operation and non-fixed symmetric key.
Group key agreement protocols allow a group of users, communicating over a public network, to establish a shared secret key to achieve a cryptographic goal. Protocols based on certificateless public key cryptography (CL-PKC) are preferred since CL-PKC does not need certificates to guarantee the authenticity of public keys and does not suffer from key escrow of identity-based cryptography. Most previous certificateless group key agreement protocols deploy signature schemes to achieve authentication and do not have constant rounds. No security model has been presented for group key agreement protocols based on CL-PKC. This paper presents a security model for a certificateless group key agreement protocol and proposes a constant-round group key agreement protocol based on CL-PKC. The proposed protocol does not involve any signature scheme, which increases the efficiency of the protocol. It is formally proven that the proposed protocol provides strong AKE-security and tolerates up to $n$-2 malicious insiders for weak MA-security. The protocol also resists key control attack under a weak corruption model.

Distributed key generation (DKG) with trustless setup is a cryptographic protocol that distributes Shamir secret shares of a private key to participants while keeping the actual private key hidden to the participants. Also, by extending it to a threshold signature protocol, digital signatures can be generated without construction of private keys. This paper proposes a recovery protocol maintaining trustless setup assumptions, in particular to the useful (1,3) share structure. The proposed protocol meets same levels of security requirements with DKG in terms of correctness and secrecy. The protocol can also enable delegation and revocation of digital sign rights for blockchain-based asset management.

Key exchange protocol (KEP) is an essential setup to secure authenticates transmission among two or more users in cyberspace. Digital files protected and transmitted by the encryption of the files over public channels, a single key communal concerning the channel parties and utilized for both to encrypt the files as well as decrypt the files. If entirely done, this impedes unauthorized third parties from imposing a key optimal on the authorized parties. In this article, we have suggested a new KEP term as isokey interchange protocol based on generalization of modern mathematics term as isomathematics by utilizing isonumbers for corresponding isounits over the Block Upper Triangular Isomatrices (BUTI) which is secure, feasible and extensible. We also were utilizing arithmetic operations like Isoaddition, isosubtraction, isomultiplication and isodivision from isomathematics to build iso-key interchange protocol for network communication. The execution of our protocol is for two isointegers corresponding two elements of the group of isomatrices and cryptographic performance of products eachother. We demonstrate the protection of suggested isokey interchange protocol against Brute force attacks, Menezes et al. algorithm and Climent et al. algorithm.
To perform the certificate validation on the user-side application induces the very considerable overhead on the user-side system because of the complex and time-consuming characteristic of the validation processing. Most of the time spend for performing the validation processing is required for the digital signature verification, since the verification accompanies with the cryptographic calculation over each certificate on the certificate path. In this paper, we propose a new certificate validation scheme using DSVP(Delegated Signature Validation Protocol) which can reduce the overhead for the user-side certificate validation processing. It is achieved by delegating the digital signature verification to CAs of the PKI domain. As the proposed DSVP is the protocol performed between a user and CAs, it is applied to the hierarchical PKI efficiently and used for delegating the digital signature verification reliably and safely, our proposed scheme can not only reduces the overhead for the validation processing by decreasing the cryptographic calculation but also improves the utilization of CAs by employing them to the validation processing.
