소규모 도서지역 어촌의 생활계 쓰레기 발생특성에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of Household Wastes from Fishing Village in Small Island)

  • 소규모 섬지역 어촌에서의 생활쓰레기 발생량, 발생특성 및 적정 처리방안을 연구하기 위하여 전라북도 군산시 소재 선유도를 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 조사는 하절기인 8월과 동절기인 12월에 실시하였다. 1인 1일 쓰레기 발생량은 0.65 kg으로 나타나 전국 평균치에 비하여 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 성상별로는 가연성분중 주방쓰레기, 종이류, 비닐 및 플라스틱 순으로 높게 나타났다. 쓰레기의 최종처분방식으로는 원소분석조사 결과 C/N비를 기준으로 볼 때 연평균 40정도로 나타나 퇴비화는 부적절한 것으로 나타났다. 저위발열량은 연평균 1,230 kcal/kg으로 나타나 보조연료의 투입 없이도 자체적인 소각이 가능한 중질폐기물에 해당되는 것으로 나타나 소각이 적절한 처리방안인 것으로 평가되었다. 전체 쓰레기 중 음식물 쓰레기가 차지하는 비율이 전국 평균치보다 상당히 높게 나타나 음식물 쓰레기 처리를 위한 퇴비화, 지렁이 사육시설 보급이 필요한 것으로 나타났으며 음식물 쓰레기를 제외한 쓰레기에 대해서는 소각 처리하는 것이 적절한 것으로 평가되었다. 도서지역 생활쓰레기 적정 처리를 위해서는 효율적인 수거 방안의 확립을 통한 수거효율 증대가 필요한 것으로 평가되었다.

한국산 긴마(Dioscorea batatas)의 물리화학적 특성 및 Doughnut에 대한 관능 검사 (Phygicochemical Properties and Sensory evaluation with Doughnut of Yam (Dioscorea batatas) in Korea)

  • 우리나라에 분포되어 있는 마중 긴마(D. batatas)의 물리화학적 성질 및 복합분으로써 튀김류인 Doughnut의 흡유율과 관능 검사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 긴마는 수분 76.10%, 당질 18.63%, 조단백질 4.03%, 지방 0.27%, 회분 1.02% 및 전분 함량은 17.20%로 나타났다. 유리당 조성은 glucose, fructose 및 sucrose로 구성 함량이 각각 30% 정도로 동등한 비율을 나타내었다. 또한 유리 아미노산 조성은 Serine, Arginine, Alanine순으로 이들이 전체 아미노산의 70.3%를 차지하였으며 총 아미노산의 47%는 Glutamic acid, Aspartic acid, Arginine가 차지하였고 함황 아미노산은 거의 존재하지 않았다. 튀김 식품인 Doughnut에 있어 마 첨가율이 높아질수록 기름 함유율이 낮아졌으며 관능 검사시 control과 마 10% 첨가군이 각 항에 차이가 없는 것으로 영양가와 기름 함유율을 고려해 볼 때 튀김시 밀가루에 10% 마가루 첨가가 바람직한 것으로 생각된다.

  • The double hull VLCC(Very Large Crude Oil Tanker) have been designed to have each four(4) longitudinal bulkheads and transverse bulkheads in general. Actually, the inside longitudinal bulkheads among four(4) longitudinal bulkheads, which are extended up to the end of the aft cargo hold for continuity of the members, have been designed with knuckled type inboard due to the narrowed hull shape at bottom region, but sometimes the straight type of longitudinal bulkheads were adopted based on the degree of the hull lines shape. However, regardless the type of longitudinal bulkheads, inside and outside longitudinal bulkheads conflict each other in aft cargo hold region This makes the structure more complex thus giving difficulties to structural design and production. Recently, a vessel of straight type was reported to have cracks on bracket end and tripping bracket toe in aft cargo hold region. As a solution to this problem, in designing the first 60m Beam VLCC, DSME developed a new cargo hold structure which is good in production and structural point of view by structural strength and fatigue analysis of fore and aft cargo hold.

입자영상유속계를 이용한 자항상태 모형선의 프로펠러 후류 계측 (Propeller Wake Measurement of a Model Ship in Self Propulsion Condition using Towed Underwater PIV)

  • A two-dimensional particle image velocimetry (2D PIV) system in a towing tank is employed to measure a wake field of a very large crude oil carrier model with rotating propeller in self propulsion condition, to identify characteristics of wake of a propeller working behind a ship. Phase-averaged and time-averaged flow fields are measured for a horizontal plane. Scale ratio of the model ship is 1/100 and Froude number is 0.142. By phase-averaging technique, trajectories of tip vortex and hub vortex are identified and characteristic secondary vortex distribution is observed in the hub vortex region. Propeller wake on the starboard side is more accelerated than that on the port side, due to the difference of inflow of propeller blades. The hub vortex trajectory tends to face the port side. With the fluctuation part of the phase-averaged velocity field, turbulent kinetic energy (TKE) is also derived. In the center of tip vortex and hub vortex region, high TKE concentration is observed. In addition, a time-averaged vector field is also measured and compared with phase-averaged vector field.

경기 지역 여대생들의 BMI에 따른 경구 당부하 검사, 식습관 및 영양 섭취 상태 조사 (A Study Examining Glucose Tolerance Tests, Food Habits, and Nutrient Intakes in Female College Students according to BMI in the Kyunggido Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the food habits, dietary intakes and GTTs (glucose tolerance tests) of female college students according to BMI in the Kyunggido area. Questionnaire surveys, 24 hr dietary recalls, and GTTs were conducted with 108 students (36 under-weight students, 42 normal weight students, and 30 over-weight students). The results were as follows: The under wt. and over wt. groups had lower frequencies of eating breakfast but higher frequencies of eating lunch than the normal wt. group. The ratio of students having dinner everyday was low in the order of under wt. > normal wt. > over wt.. The over wt. group skipped breakfast mainly due to lack of time and the need to get to school, and the under wt. group had a high ratio (48.1%) of lunch skipper as a result of having brunch. The over wt. subjects had poor habits of eating fast and overeating, but the under wt. students ate their meals slowly. The under wt. group had a high ratio of students who ate snacks and fast-food. All subjects wanted to immediately improve their poor habit of overeating. Plant oil, animal Fe, and vitamin E intakes were lower in the under wt. group than in the other groups. For the GTT, the over wt. students had significantly lower blood glucose levels after 30 min. than the other groups. BMI was negatively correlated with blood glucose level after 30 min, but positively correlated with crude fiber, ash, Ca, plant Ca, P, animal Fe, Na, K, $\beta$-carotene, vitamin $B_6$, niacin, and vitamin E.

타력 증대가 저속 운항 선박의 조종성능에 미치는 영향에 관한 수치적 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Effects of Maneuverability of Ship with Low Forward Speed by Increasing Rudder Force)

  • Recent accidents of crude oil tankers have resulted in sinking, grounding of vessels and significant levels of marine pollution. Therefore, International Maritime Organization (IMO) has been strengthening the regulations of ship maneuvering performance in MSC 137. The evaluation of maneuvering performance can be made at the early design stage; it can be investigated numerically or experimentally. The main objective of this paper was to investigate the maneuvering performance of a VLCC due to the increase of rudder force at an early design stage for low speed in shallow water conditions. It was simulated in various operating condition such as deep sea, shallow water, design speed and low speed by using the numerical maneuvering simulation model, developed using MMG maneuvering motion equation and KVLCC 2 (SIMMAN 2008 workshop). The effect of increasing the rudder force can be evaluated by using numerical simulation of turning test and ZIG-ZAG test. The research showed that, increasing the rudder force of a VLCC was more effective on improving the turning ability than improving the course changing ability especially. The improvement of turning ability by the rudder force increasing is most effective when the ship is sailing in shallow water at low forward speed.

  • 연소전 $CO_2$ 흡수제인 PKM1-SU와 원유의 접촉분해 촉매인 FCC (fluid catalytic cracking)입자의 고온, 고압 조건 마모 실험을 수행하였다. 지름 15.1 cm, 높이 120 cm에 스파저 튜브(sparger tube, 1 mm 오리피스)를 장착한 원통형 기포유동층반응기를 이용하여, 다양한 온도조건($0{\sim}400^{\circ}C$), 압력조건(0~20 bar)에서 입자마모 실험을 수행하였다. BET, 광학현미경, 입도분석기 등을 이용하여 실험 전, 후 입자를 분석 하였다. 또한 기존의 마모도 측정 방법인 ASTM D5757-95방법을 이용하여 층물질의 높이(4.4~10.2 cm) 및 수분 주입이 입자 마모에 미치는 영향에 대하여 확인하였다.

  • It is consequential to reduce the environmental impact of a product for sustainable development in 21st Century. In the field of transportation, especially, the technological market concerned about reduction and assessment of greenhouse gas emission is expected to be extended. The LCA gas been esteemed and utilized as a realistic alternative greenhouse gas emission is expected to be extended. The LCA has been esteemed and utilized as a realistic alternative to improve the environment by the assessment of environmental impacts. In this study, simplified life cycle assessment(S-LCA), was performed to analyze the environmental impacts quantitatively, which were produced through the life cycle of a electric motor unit(EMU). The object of the present work is rth investigate main parameters of environmental impacts and to establish the plans to improve the environment impact of EMU. As a result of quantitative assessment for environmental impact and manufacturing, the EMU carbody made of SUS showed acidification(AD) and marine water aquatic ecotoxicity(MAET) the most, while that made of Mild showed high impact of global warning(GW) and abiotic resources depletion(ARD). For the SUS EMU, the high AD and MAET impact is occurred by the discharged pollutants during acid-washing process. Also, high value of GW and ARD for Mild EMU is resulted from the consumption of iron ore, coal and crude oil during manufacturing. Therefore, the environment impact of carbody would be decreased by enhancing of energy efficiency and the lightening the weight of it.

국내 폐자동차 처리시스템에 대한 전과정평가 (Life Cycle Assessment on the End-of-Life Vehicle Treatment System in Korea)

  • This study aims at evaluating the environmental impacts stemmed from the End-of-Life Vehicle(ELV) treatment systems in Korea, using Life Cycle Assessment(LCA) method. In this study, both environmental burden from the ELV dismantling process & recycling processes and environmental benefit which were derived from the avoided environmental impacts by substituting recycled materials for virgin materials were considered. First of all, the key issues which were defined as the environmental aspects that account for more than $1\%$ out of the total environmental impacts were identified from the Life Cycle Impact Assessment(LCIA). $CO_2$, crude oil, natural gas, coal, etc. were found out to be the key issue parameters. From the LCI Analysis and LCIA studies, it was shown that the significant environmental aspects were related with the recycling process of ferro scrap, the shredding process of compressed car bodies and the dismantling process of end-of-life engines. In particular, the recycling process of ferro scrap has the most significant effects on the environmental impacts of the ELV treatment systems. Based on these results, it is recommended to improve the recycling process of ferro scrap in order to make the ELV treatment systems more environmentally sound.

지리산 싸리의 지질 구성 지방산과 유리 아미노산 및 구성 총 아미노산 조성에 관하여 (Compositions of Fatty Acid, Free Amino Acid and Total Amino Acid of Lespedeza x chiisanensis T. LEE)

  • 지리산 싸리의 유리 아미노산, 총 아미노산 조성과 총 지방산 조성을 규명하기 위한 gas chromatography와 HPLC를 사용하여 분리 정량한 결과는 다음과 같다. 조지방 함량은 11.13%이고, 조단백질 함량은 5.18%로 조성되어 있다. 유리 아미노산의 총 함량은 433.14mg/100g으로 조성되어 있으며, 유리 아미노산 중에서 필수 아미노산의 총 함량은 94.84mg/100g으로 21.90%를 차지하고 있다. 총 아미노산의 함량은 3159.85mg/100g으로 조성되어 있으며, 총 아미노산중에서 필수 아미노산의 함량은 1068.18mg/100g으로 35.80%를 차지하고 있다. 총 지방산 조성은 $C_{18\;:\;2}$가 45.05%로 제일 많이 함유되어 있고, $C_{18\;:\;3}=18.71%,\;C_{19}=14.70%,C_{18\;:\;1}=6.81%,\;C_{16}=4.35%,\;C_{16\;:\;1}=1.59%$순으로 함유되고 있고, 탄소소 홀수 지방산이 14.70% 함유되어 있으며, 불포화 지방산이 72.44%이고, 필수 지방산은 63.76%를 차지하고 있는 결과로 볼 때 유지자원 및 사료의 자원으로 가치가 있다고 판단된다.
