Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the influencing factors of breast cancer recurrence by comparing the risk factors and lifestyle patterns related to breast cancer in Korean women with and without recurrence. Methods: This cross-sectional survey comprised 241 Korean women diagnosed with breast cancer who had received follow-up treatment. Participants were recruited from a university hospital in Seoul and an online social media platform for breast cancer patients. Data were collected either via online or a paper survey, using a structured questionnaire that included general and disease-related characteristics and lifestyle behaviors. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, univariate analysis, and logistic regression. Results: Recurrence of breast cancer was influenced by four factors; childbirth experience, consumption of green/yellow vegetables, drinking behavior, and recovery from fatigue after sleep. Prevalence of recurrent breast cancer was associated with no childbirth experience (OR=2.29, p=.010), fewer green/yellow vegetables (OR=0.71, p=.008), drinking behavior (OR=0.24, p=.001), and a lower level of recovery from fatigue after sleep (OR=0.51, p<.001). Conclusion: Aside from having experienced childbirth, this study identified several modifiable factors that influence breast cancer recurrence. Increasing green/ yellow vegetable intake, alleviating fatigue, and reducing alcohol intake are important. Intervention strategies in clinical research and practice can be applied to address risk factors and reduce the prevalence of recurrent breast cancer.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the mediating effects of health promotion behavior (HPB) in the relationship between anxiety and quality of life (QoL) in young adults living in the post-pandemic era. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive online survey design was utilized. Data on anxiety, QoL, HPB, and demographic characteristics were collected from 213 adults aged 19-35 years in Korea via an online survey in January 2024. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 and PROCESS MACRO 4.2 software. Results: Strong correlations were observed among anxiety, QoL, and post-pandemic HPB (PP-HPB) in young adults, and anxiety and PP-HPB were identified as significant predictors of QoL. The total effect of anxiety on QoL was significant (B = -1.40, bootstrapped SE = 0.10), with both the direct effect (B = -0.70, bootstrapped SE = 0.09) and the indirect effect (B = -0.70, bootstrapped SE = 0.11) being significant. This suggests that PP-HPB partially mediated the relationship between anxiety and QoL. Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of strengthening HPB with consideration of life changes since the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic to improve QoL among young adults with anxiety.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of postpartum depression (PPD) and stress, as well as factors influencing PPD, among women in Saudi Arabia. Methods: This study employed a cross-sectional online survey and recruited participants during postpartum visits to the Clinic of Gynecology and Obstetrics in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Data collection was done using Arabic versions of the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, Perceived Stress Scale, and a sociodemographics and obstetric history questionnaire. Descriptive and inferential analyses were conducted, including multiple linear regression using a stepwise method. Results: Data from the 270 participants showed low levels of postpartum depressive symptoms with a mean score of 2.54±4.5 and low levels of perceived stress with a mean score of 2.49±6.2. While 94.4% of the participants reported low levels of stress and PPD, 5.6% reported elevated levels (≥10 for PPD, ≥14 for stress). The stepwise regression analysis showed significant results (p<.001), accounting for 34% of the variance in PPD. The factors significantly influencing PPD included the type of family, stress, number of abortions, disease during pregnancy, and family income. Importantly, perceived stress emerged as a factor influencing PPD. Conclusion: Although the majority of participants exhibited low levels of PPD, about 1 in 18 showed elevated levels. The identification of significant influencing factors highlights the need for targeted interventions to effectively address mental health concerns in postpartum women.

This study is a study on the analysis and measurement of the radar cross-sectional area of a miniature aircraft. Radar cross-sectional area for miniature aircraft in advance were analyzed using an electromagnetic analysis tool, and an actual miniature aircraft was manufactured and measured in an anechoic chamber. When measuring, the old model was used as reference data for RCS(radar cross section) characteristics and applied to the test result data of the actual reduced model. The measurement method improved the accuracy of the measurement by applying time gating to remove the influence on the components scattered inside the anechoic chamber. The RCS test results of the reduced model showed relatively high RCS characteristics in the microwave band, as the previous analysis results. In the future, we plan to utilize the method of RCS analysis and measurement for the target of the radar in the VHF(Very High Frequency)/UHF(Ultra High Frequency) band with a relatively large wavelength.

Background: To review the peer reviewed literature on the psychological aspects of the prostate cancer experience of men in Asia. Materials and Methods: Medline and PsycINFO, CINAHL, ProQuest, and Web of Science (1999 - November Week 4, 2012) were searched. Inclusion criteria were: included men with prostate cancer and/or their partners or caregivers who identify as Asian recruited in an Asian country; and assessed health-related quality of life, psychological and social adjustment relating to prostate cancer and published in English after $1^{st}$ January 1999 and prior to $30^{th}$ November, 2012. Study aims; design; quality; level of evidence, and key results were assessed. Results: 43 articles met all inclusion criteria and were retained for initial review. Of these most focussed on health-related QOL with only five evidence Level IV studies from Japan and Taiwan including a specific psychological focus. Of these, one was a cross-sectional case control study; three were cross-sectional descriptive quantitative designs; one was a cross-sectional descriptive qualitative study. From the data available, a substantive sub group of men with prostate cancer (approximately one third) in these countries experience clinically high psychological distress and decision regret. Conclusions: Research on the psychological needs of men with the increasingly prevalent condition of prostate cancer in Asian countries is scant with only a small number of low level evidence descriptive studies identified. Future research to underpin the development and evaluation of effective and culturally relevant psychological and supportive care interventions for such men is urgently needed.
Background: The present study was carried out to assess the relationship between sickness absence and occupational stress, sleep quality, and amplitude and stability of circadian rhythm as well as to determine contributing factors of sickness absence. Methods: This cross sectional study was conducted on 400 randomly selected employees of an Iranian gas company. The data were collected using Pittsburgh sleep quality index, Karolinska sleepiness scale, circadian type inventory, and Osipow occupational stress questionnaires. Results: The mean age and job tenure of the participants were $33.18{\pm}5.64years$ and $6.06{\pm}4.99years$, respectively. Also, the participants had been absent from work on average 2.16 days a year. According to the results, 209 participants had no absences, 129 participants had short-term absences, and 62 participants had long-term absences. The results showed a significant relationship between short-term absenteeism and amplitude of circadian rhythm [odds ratio (OR) = 6.13], sleep quality (OR = 14.46), sleepiness (OR = 2.08), role boundary (OR = 6.45), and responsibility (OR = 5.23). Long-term absenteeism was also significantly associated with amplitude of circadian rhythm (OR = 2.42), sleep quality (OR = 21.56), sleepiness (OR = 6.44), role overload (OR = 4.84), role boundary (OR = 4.27), and responsibility (OR = 3.72). Conclusion: The results revealed that poor sleep quality, amplitude of circadian rhythm, and occupational stress were the contributing factors for sickness absence in the study population.
This paper describes the fusing time characteristics of Light PVC Sheathed Circular Cord(VCTF) and Tray Frame Retardant(TFR) cables according to increased temperature under over current condition. The experimental equation will be used to determine the validity and reliability of the test results. The over current flowed 3, 5 and 10 times higher than the amount of allowable current using DC power supply with DAQ(Data Acquisition) measurement system. An infrared radiation heater, which was controlled by a variable AC auto transformer, was used to increase the temperature from room temperature to 50, 100 and 150 degrees Celsius. First, two type of cables were analyzed those with different cross-sectional areas with in the same structure and those with different structures with in the same cross-sectional areas. Then, it was determined how fusing time had been influenced according to the cross-sectional areas and different structures, respectively. The cable resistance was increased by joule heating according to increasing temperature. Therefore, the allowable current of cable is decreased. Finally, the fusing time of the cable was decreased due to increased temperatures at current flow, which were 3 times the amount of allowable current. The instantaneous breakdown was observed when current flow was 5 and 10 times over the amount of allowable current. The fusing time is directly affected by the structure of cable insulation.

PURPOSE: This study examined the changes in the cross-sectional area (CSA) of the abductor hallucis muscle during various ankle positions while performing toespread-out (TSO) exercise. METHODS: Thirty subjects with an average age of 22.1 years were recruited for this study. All subjects were firstly measured for the angle of their first metatarsophalangeal joint using a goniometer. Those with angles greater than 15° were allocated to the HV group. The remaining subjects were placed in the normal group. The CSA of the abductor hallucis was measured by ultrasound in the resting position with no movement and three ankle positions: neutral (0°), plantarflexion (30°), and dorsiflexion (30°). All data were analyzed using a two-way mixed analysis of variance between the groups (normal and HV group) and within the groups (resting, neutral, plantarflexion, and dorsiflexion) to determine the group x position interaction effects. RESULTS: During TSO exercise in the normal group, the CSA of the abductor hallucis was significantly greater in both the plantarflexion and neutral positions compared to the resting position (padj < .01), and plantarflexion was significantly greater than the dorsiflexion position (padj < .01). During the TSO exercise in the HV group, the CSA of the abductor hallucis for plantarflexion was significantly greater than it was for the resting, neutral, and dorsiflexion positions (padj < .01). CONCLUSION: Based on the above results, the TSO exercise in plantarflexion is an effective rehabilitation exercise for subjects with HV.

This paper presented the theory related to a two dimensional linear cross-sectional analysis, recovery relationship and a one-dimensional nonlinear beam analysis for composite beam with initial twist and high aspect ratio. Using VABS including related theory, preceding research data of the composite wing structure has been modeled and compared. Cross-sectional analysis was performed and 1-D beam was modeled at cutting point including all the details of real geometry and material. The 3-D strain distribution and margin of safety at recovery point was calculated based on the global behavior of the 1-D beam analysis and visualize numerical results.
Purpose - This article tries to test if the conditional consumption capital asset pricing model (CCAPM) with bank credit for household as a conditional variable can explain the cross-sectional variation of stock returns in Korea. The performance of conditional CCAPM is compared to that of multifactor asset pricing models based on Arbitrage Pricing Theory. Design/methodology/approach - This paper extends the simple CCAPM to the conditional version of CCAPM by using bank credit for household as conditioning information. By employing KOSPI and KOSDAQ stocks as test assets from the second quarter of 2003 to the first quarter of 2018, this paper estimates risk premiums of conditional CCAPM and a variety of multifactor linear models such as Fama-French three and five-factor models. The significance of risk factors and the adjusted coefficient of determination are the basis for the comparison in models' performances. Findings - First, the paper finds that conditional CCAPM with bank credit performs as well as the multifactor linear models from Arbitrage Pricing theory on 25 test assets sorted by size and book-to-market. When using long-term consumption growth, the conditional CCAPM explains the cross-sectional variation of stock returns far better than multifactor models. Not only that, although the performances of multifactor models decrease on 75 test assets, conditional CCAPM's performance is well maintained. Research implications or Originality - This paper proposes bank credit for household as a conditional variable for CCAPM. This enables CCAPM, one of the most famous economic asset pricing models, to conform with the empirical data. In light of this, we can now explain the cross-sectional variation of stock returns from an economic perspective: Asset's riskiness is determined by its correlation with consumption growth conditional on bank credit for household.
