A semi-infinite parallel crack propagated with constant velocity in two bonded anisotropic strip under anti-plane clamped displacement is analyzed. Using Fourier integral transform a Wiener-Hopf equation is derived. By solving this equation the asymptotic stress and displacement fields near the crack tip are determined, where the results give the more general expression applicable to the extent of the anisotropic material having one plane of elastic symmetry for the parallel crack. The dynamic stress intensity factor and energy release rate are also obtained as a closed form, which are the results applicable to the problem both of dynamic and static crack under the same geometry as this study. The stress intensity factor approaches zero at the critical crack velocity which is less than the shear wave velocity, but in typical case of isotropic or orthotropic material agrees with the velocity of shear wave. Also a circular shear stress around crack tip is considered, from which the stress is shown to be approximately symmetric about the horizontal axis. Referring to the maximum stress criteria, it could be shown that a brenched crack is formed by crack growth as crack velocity increases.

This paper studies the factors affecting university and industry collaboration in education in the hospitality industry in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) from a company perspective. The authors use qualitative method and quantitative research to study the matters, specifically using scales and data collected for Cronbach alpha reliability testing, analysizing the discovery factor of EFA, CFA and verifying the regression models through AMOS software with SEM linear modeling. The study proposes four factors: (1) organization factors, (2) contextual factors, (3) process factors, and (4) cooperation perspective impacting on the benefits factors and university and industry collaboration in education. In addition, it is also found that benefits factors has a direct and positive impact on the collaboration in education. The results suggest that the process factor had the strongest positive, followed by the contextual factor. The findings revealed that the benefit factors were significantly related to collaboration in education, which affects university and industry hospitality alliances. This finding confirm that the cooperation perspective (QD) and contextual factors (HC) are critical in collaboration between university and industry. A new point of interest is also identified that the benefits of training links are quite dependent on the linking perspective from tourism businesses.

Recently according to the increasing critical loads such as communication and life support systems stable power supplying becomes more and more important. Therefore it is indespensable to stabilize power source using these instruments - AVR(Automatic Voltage Regulator) or UPS(Uninterrutible Power Supply). This paper deals with ON-LNE UPS which is composed of PWM converter for AC-DC conversion. Using a PWM converter have advantages of low current harmonics and high power factor. In this paper ON-LNE UPS using PWM converter is proposed and its characteristics are investigated.
We propose the crack growth rate equation which will model fatigue crack growth rate behavior such that constant stress amplitude fatigue crack growth behavior can be predicted. Constant stress amplitude fatigue tests are conducted for four materials under three stress ratios of R=0.2, R=0.4 and R=0.6. Materials which have different mechanical properties i.e. stainless steel, low carbon steel, medium carbon steel and aluminum alloy are used. Through constant stress amplitude fatigue test by using unloading elastic compliance method, it is confirmed that crack closure is a close relationship with fatigue crack propagation. We describe simply fatigue crack propagation behavior as a function of the effective stress intensity factor range ($\Delta$$K_{eff}$=U .$\Delta$K) for all three regions (threshold region, stable region). The fatigue crack growth rate equation is given by da / dN=A($\Delta$$K_{eff}$$\Delta$$K_{o}$ )$^{m}$ / ($\Delta$$K_{eff}$$\Delta$K) Where, A and m are material constants, and $\Delta$$K_{o}$ is stress intensity factor range at low $\Delta$K region. $K_{cf}$ is critical fatigue stress intensity factor.actor.

Room and Pillar method is an underground facility construction method that maximizes the strength of the in-situ ground. In order to secure the safety of the underground space, it is necessary to secure the safety of the room actually used in addition to the safety of pillar of the room and Pillar method. In this study, the evaluation method for the safety of the room and rock pillar in the room and pillar method was studied through numerical analysis. Numerical analysis was performed for a total of 125 cases using ground conditions, pillar width, and room width as parameters, and the results were derived. As for the safety factor of the pillar, it was confirmed that the safety factor increased when the strength of the ground increased, and it was confirmed that the increment in the safety factor decreased when the width of the pillar was widened. The room strain was evaluated by applying the Critical strain. As the width of the pillar became narrower, the Critical strain was higher, and as the width of the room became smaller, the Critical strain was smaller. As a result of the correlation analysis between the safety factor of the pillar and the room strain, it was possible to derive the upper limit of the room strain that can secure the standard safety factor of the pillar according to the width of the pillar. It is judged that the results derived from this study can be used as a guideline to secure the safety of the room when the actual design is performed in consideration of the ground conditions and room width.
Nonhydrostatic effects on convectively forced mesoscale flows in two dimensions are numerically investigated using a nondimensional model. An elevated heating that represents convective heating due to deep cumulus convection is specified in a uniform basic flow with constant stability, and numerical experiments are performed with different values of the nonlinearity factor and nonhydrostaticity factor. The simulation result in a linear system is first compared to the analytic solution. The simulated vertical velocity field is very similar to the analytic one, confirming the high accuracy of nondimensional model's solutions. When the nonhydrostaticity factor is small, alternating regions of upward and downward motion above the heating top appear. On the other hand, when the nonhydrostaticity factor is relatively large, alternating updraft and downdraft cells appear downwind of the main updraft region. These features according to the nonhydrostaticity factor appear in both linear and nonlinear flow systems. The location of the maximum vertical velocity in the main updraft region differs depending on the degrees of nonlinearity and nonhydrostaticity. Using the Taylor-Goldstein equation in a linear, steady-state, invscid system, it is analyzed that evanescent waves exist for a given nonhydrostaticity factor. The critical wavelength of an evanescent wave is given by ${\lambda}_c=2{\pi}{\beta}$, where ${\beta}$ is the nonhydrostaticity factor. Waves whose wavelengths are smaller than the critical wavelength become evanescent. The alternating updraft and downdraft cells are formed by the superposition of evanescent waves and horizontally propagating parts of propagating waves. Simulation results show that the horizontal length of the updraft and downdraft cells is the half of the critical wavelength (${\pi}{\beta}$) in a linear flow system and larger than ${\pi}{\beta}$ in a weakly nonlinear flow system.

A phosphor for Plasma Display Panel, BaMgAl$_{10}$ O$_{17}$ :Eu$^{2+}$, showing a blue emission band at about 450nm was prepared by a solid-state reaction using BaCO$_3$, $Al_2$O$_3$, MgO, Eu$_2$O$_3$ as starting materials wish flux AlF$_3$. The study of the behaviour of Eu in BAM phosphor was carried out by the photoluminescence spectra and the Rietveld method with X-ray and neutron powder diffraction data to refine the structural parameters such as lattice constants, the valence state of Eu, the preferential site of Mg atom and the site fraction of each atom. The phenomenon of the concentration quenching was abound 2.25~2.3wt% of Eu due to a decrease in the critical distance for energy transfer of inter-atomic Eu. Through the combined Rietveld refinement, R-factor, R$_{wp}$, was 8.11%, and the occupancy of Eu and Mg was 0.0882 and 0.526 at critical concentration. The critical distance of Eu$^{2+}$ in BAM was 18.8$\AA$ at 2.25% Eu of the concentration quenching. Furthermore, c/a ratio was decreased to 3.0wt% and no more change was observed over that concentration. The maximum entropy electron density was found that the modeling of $\beta$-alumina structure in BaMgAl$_{10}$ O$_{17}$ :Eu$^{2+}$correct coincided showing Ba, Eu, O atoms of z= 1/4 mirror plane.e.ane.e.
In this paper, the weight reduction design of the yaw gearbox for wind turbine was performed through the finite element analysis method, and the stability was checked by performing the critical speed analysis. The weight reduction product can improve engine efficiency, save parts materials, and earn economic benefits. The yaw gearbox is lightweighted with the goal of achieving a safety rate of 1.3 or higher for wind turbine as indicated by IEC61400-1. In order to reduce the weight of the carrier, a topology optimization method was performed. The safety factor was verified by performing finite element analysis on the carrier. In addition, the housing and carrier were modeled using the finite element method, and the gear train was modeled using MASTA. For the yaw gearbox, the housing and carrier FE model and the gear train model were connected by the partial structural synthesis method to perform the rotational vibration analysis. Vibration excitation sources are mass unbalance and gear mesh frrequemcy, and as a result of the critical speed analysis, it was found that there was no resonance within the operating speed range.

Our PC have been under constant threat of malicious codes and viruses today. As many new ways of cyber attacks are being developed, such as zero-day-attack, nobody's PC is guaranteed to be safe from the attacks. In case where a user uses the existing verification protocol on a unsecured PC, the user's verification information may well be threatened by sniffing or man-in-the-middle attack. Especially, deadly attacks like memory hacking would give hard time for users to even recognize any symptom of virus infection. Therefore, this paper designs secured QR-Login user verification protocol for smart devices that are ready to communicate with QR-Code and proposes a way to keep critical data safe when using the internet. This way, user would be able to safeguard his/her critical data even when under attack by unknown attacks and safely carry out extremely sensitive task, like financial trading, on the device.
