Design standard specifications for structures applied to Seoul-Pusan High Speed Rail construction were established in 1991. Those specifications have been changed and supplemented in the process of above construction, and need to improve in accordance with the new criteria for construction works of Korean government. Also, a settlement of the criteria for prevention against disasters of Seoul-Pusan High Speed Rail is needed, and related specifications have been revised. The design criteria for Seoul-Pusan High Speed Rail are enacted with knowhow which resulted from High Speed Rail construction, and those are enacted for the purpose of establishing criteria for High Speed Rail construction in the inside and outside of Korea.

It is increased electrical energy consumption with the development of intelligence society in buildings and thus an energy conservation through efficient use of electricity and reliability, safety, etc became more important. This research paper intensively investigated performance based construction specifications and design criteria of electrical installations in domestic and foreign country. It is necessary to analyze the key features based on performance and general trend about contractor guarantee, warranty method, performance design criteria from the investigated data. This paper shows a reasonable performance based construction specifications and design criteria of electrical installations.

본 연구는 고속도로 졸음쉼터 현황 조사 및 문제점 도출을 통해 졸음쉼터의 제원 산정 및 설계기준 수립을 위한 개선안 제시를 목적으로 한다. 고속도로 졸음쉼터 진입부를 감속변이구간, 감속차로, 진입연결로로 분류하고, 진출부는 진출연결로, 가속차로, 가속변이구간으로 분류하여 차량의 본선 주행속도, 진출입연결로의 시 종점부 주행속도, 감속도 및 가속도 등을 고려하여 구간별 적정길이를 산정하였다. 또한 졸음쉼터 주차부를 주차형태, 횡단구성 주차공간의 길이 등으로 구분하고, 실제 졸음쉼터를 이용하는 차량의 이용률, 중차량 비율, 졸음쉼터 내 설계속도 등을 고려하여 합리적인 설계기준을 정립하였다. 본 연구를 통해 제시된 고속도로 졸음쉼터 설계기준은 향후 졸음쉼터 계획 및 재정비 시 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 고속도로 졸음쉼터의 규정 및 산정 결과를 고려한 졸음쉼터의 설치기준 정립은 휴게시설 및 고속도로 교통사고 예방은 물론 이용률 증가 및 안전성 측면의 향상을 가져올 것으로 판단된다.

교량 계측시스템의 계측항목 중 거더 중앙부 처짐은 교량 상부구조의 대표적인 거동 특성이며, 중요한 상태평가 항목이다. 교량 계측시스템에서 교량 경간 중앙부 처짐에 대한 관리기준치를 설정하는 여러 가지 방법 중 도로교 설계기준의 처짐 제한치를 적용하는 경우도 있다. 그러나 도로교설계기준의 처짐 제한규정은 안전성 측면보다는 사용성 측면에서 검토되어 실제 교량에서 발생할 수 있는 위험상황에 대하여 어느 정도 안전을 보장하는지 판단하기 어렵다. 본 연구는 현재 교량 설계시 경간 중앙부 처짐의 사용성 검토 기준이고, 일부 교량 상시계측시스템의 경간 중앙부 관리기준치로 적용되고 있는 도로교설계기준의 처짐 제한치가 포함하고 있는 파괴(항복)에 대한 실질적인 안전율을 추정해 보고자 실내구조실험을 통하여 일반 철근콘크리트 거더의 안전율을 추정하였다.

When existing parts are re-used for the development of a new product or business-to-business transactions, a method for searching parts from a part database that meets user's requirements is necessary. To this end, it is important to develop a part search method which is able to measure similarity between parts and user's input data with generality as well as robustness. In this paper, the authors suggest a method for measuring part similarity using ontology and multi-criteria decision making method and address its technical details. The proposed method ensures the interoperability with existing engineering information management systems, represents part specifications systematically, and has generality in the procedure for comparing part specifications. The case study for ejector pins having been conducted to demonstrate the proposed method is also discussed.

For the purpose of providing basic data for the development of size specifications for middle-aged women in Busan, one dimensional measurements were made with the subjects. ranging 45 to 59 in age. The following are the conclusions : 1) According to ages, the middle and elder groups of the middle-aged women shared similar body types, having shorter height, more lowered bust. and increased upper-body depth and girth factors, compared with the earlier middle-aged women group. But the thigh girth of the elder middle-aged group (age: 55∼59) was the lowest, maybe owing to the aged lower-body muscles. 2) In the comparison with national averages. armhole girth, elbow girth, wrist girth. back waist length, side neck point-B.P.-waist line, and sleeve length showed great differences. This is problematic in that the national size standards fail to reflect each legion\`s peculiar body type characteristics. 3) Even though body types were classified according to drop value criteria suggested by KS specifications, 23.05% did not belong to the criteria. They were thus classified as A, N, and H body types, following the distribution of the present experiment. 4) In consideration of the economy factor of the production and sales of the clothes industry, the combinations of height and chest garth for the middle-aged Busan women were as follows: 155cm-85cm (Body Type A) 150cm-88cm (Body Type N), and 155cm-94cm (Body Type H).

In this paper, we determine the design criteria of haptic device considering the human haptic system and determine the design specifications. We developed a new 2DOF haptic device based on the specifications. It has the wide workspace, statically-balanced, constant inertia matrix, well-conditioned Jacobian matrix and so on. There also is not singularity point within workspace of the device. We show that it has better performance than other 2DOF haptic device in the many aspects.

In order to establish a criteria of solid particle separation performance test on marine centrifugal purifier at factory acceptance test, an investigation had been done on criteria of test standards, regulations and test specifications of purifier manufactures. KS V 7836, fuel oil and lubricating oil purifiers for marine use-centrifugal type, the criteria of solid particle separation is studied in the point of reality, restricts and analysis method. It is proposed that a reasonable criteria and analysis method should be adopted, and the current criteria shall be revised to adequate levels considering reasonable basis and industrial technology levels. Also, the test analysis conceptions, separation efficiency method and particle size restriction method, are reviewed to fulfil separation performance test for marine centrifugal purifiers.

On the bases of the 5 principles and the 4 criteria for designing and developing of the listening and the reading test of National English Ability Test (NEAT), this study presents Item-Types Decision-Making Model as a blueprint for designing and constructing the two tests. It sets up the criteria for validating item types, designs a modular type of test specifications, constructs an item-types bank, and specifies a complementary type of test specifications of the two tests. To gather all these threads up, it constructs Item-Types Decision-Making Model which consists of such components as the item-type pool, the validity criteria and the procedures of testing item types, the item-types bank, the modular and the complementary type test specification. Thus, it shows how the Model works in developing and constructing the two level-differentiated listening and reading tests (the 2nd and the 3rd rank) of NEAT. Finally, it discusses some implications and applications of the Model to the two level-differentiated tests (the A and the B type) of 2014 CSAT (College Scholastic Ability Test) systems, National Assessment of Educational Achievement (NAEA), and classroom testing. In conclusion, Item-Types Decision-Making Model functions as a testing template in an item development system and as a matrix in an item-types bank system.
