A study on the Diagnosis Program Development for Street and House CCTV Installment. In our society, there are dangerous factors increasing which threaten citizen's life and property. Recently, CCTV becomes an important factors. This is due to the fact that there are dangerous factors increasing which threaten citizen's life and property. The local government need to responsible for citizen's safety. In order to make safety local community, the government need to improve and support policies for citizens. The role of CCTV for crime prevention is to increase police power and budget. Also, in order to make local community, not only police, local community but also citizen need to make effort. The purpose of this study is to analyze crime prevention diagnosis about crime prevention, analyzing the environment's problem and suggesting problem solving. The content of this study consist of introduction in chapter 1, theoretaical consideration in chapter 2, crime prevention diagnosis in chapter 3, conclusion in chapter 4.

This study proposes a sex crime prevention application for single female households. After analyzing the current status of single-person households, crime status in Gimhae, and existing sex crime applications, 15 women in their 20s and 30s living alone were surveyed by users, including cultural probes and contextual inquiry. Insight obtained through user research using the service design tool confirmed that it has a positive effect on user satisfaction in the production of the application. Based on the results of usability assessment, it is a follow-up research task to propose and commercialize actual production outputs for the prevention of sex crimes against single-person household women by further developing the sex crime prevention mobile applications that are the output of this study.

Rapid social and economic growth has brought positive results. At the same time, due to the increase in crime, crime prevention is important. There are many papers that analyze crime trends and crime type. Based on this, there are studies to ensure the safety of people. The study calculated the risk for the crime. it is necessary to exert a great effect on crime prevention alternatives. This paper uses crime data provided from San Francisco and victims data provided from FBI. And, it proposes the crime risk calculation. By analyzing the type of user, risk degree is given different weights according to the user, and assess the risk of crime.

This paper is dealing with the effectiveness to the crime prevention by the combined security system of the private security and the public security(the Police). In the western countries the public and the private security have well co-operated each other in terms of the job distribution. But our country's The private security has not much serviced in the crime prevention. The public security system has in limited capability to prevent the crime, therefore the co-production through with the private security industry and the community network are required to prevent and reduce the crime we are facing on. The followings are the result of survey on the prevention of crime through The combined security system(co-production) of The police, the private security and the community network; 1) The private security could be a big help to the police work if the two system can be co-operated smoothly. 2) The crime prevention could be not good worked out if police work would only be in the upper level class. 3) The job satisfaction is a positive if the co-operation between the police and the private security is on well.

This study aims to investigate the possibility of crime prevention through CCTV by analyzing the appropriateness of the CCTV location, whether it is installed in the hotspot of crime-prone areas, and exploring the crime prevention effect and transition effect. The real crime and CCTV locations of case city were converted into the spatial data by using GIS. The data was analyzed by hotspot analysis and weighted displacement quotient (WDQ). The results demonstrated that there was no significant effect in the installation of CCTV on crime prevention. This indicates that CCTV should be installed and managed in a more scientific way reflecting local crime situations. In terms of CCTV, the methods of spatial analysis such as GIS, which can evaluate the installation effect, and the methods of economic analysis like cost-benefit analysis should be developed. In addition, these methods should be distributed to local governments across the nation for the appropriate installation of CCTV and operation. This study intended to find a design guideline of the optimum CCTV installation. In this regard, this study is meaningful in that it will contribute to the creation of a safe city.

Juvenile crime has recently severe problems in quality as well as great increase in quantity. Especially compared to adult crime, juvenile crime has higher recidivism rate, which leads to strong doubt about the limitations of existing treatment. This is because the correctional institutions have a bad influence on the juvenile criminal, that is not the original purpose like correction and edification, but relearning of crime. To prevent the recidivism of juvenile crime needs an active level in terms of the return as sound citizens through correction beyond a simple level of maintaining order. Correction welfare is one of the most important measures to prevent the recidivism of juvenile crime. This study examines the notion, types and trend of juvenile crime, considers the concept and functions of correction welfare, and shows the prevention of recidivism of juvenile crime in perspective of correction welfare.

최근 학교폭력 및 묻지마 범죄가 꾸준히 증가추세에 있다. 2011년 12월 학교폭력에 의한 대구중학생 자살사건, 2010년 2월 김길태 사건과 6월 김수철 사건, 2016년 5월 강남역 노래방 살인사건과 6월 섬마을 여교사 사건 등 사회적 약자인 소년, 여성 대상범죄 및 묻지마 범죄가 사회문제로 대두되고 있다. 이에 따라 범죄예방 도구이자 전략으로써 CPTED가 하나의 대안으로 부각되고 있다. 국토교통부는 건축물, 건축설비 및 대지에 관한 범죄예방 기준인 '범죄예방 건축기준 고시'를 2015년부터 시행하고 있는데 적용대상 건물 등은 이 기준에 따라 설계하고 건축해야 한다. 현대 위험사회에서 강력범죄 및 경범죄의 사전예방을 위해서는 사회 안전시스템 구축이 요구되며 그 대안으로 환경설계를 통해 범행기회를 심리적, 물리적으로 차단하는 정책을 모색함으로써 환경범죄학 입장에서 범죄예방에 접근할 필요가 있다.

In this paper, the energy saving illuminator with a function of crime and fire prevention is developed. This illuminator is communicated with a superintendent's office by wireless communication and the informations being archived by the illuminator are transmitted to a superintendent's office. If this illuminator is established with only one in a lecture room or a office room, a wireless network with saving a energy and preventing crimes and fires can be constructed.

While many criminal studies have focused on the motivation of offenders and avoidance of victimization in the micro perspective, there have been a number of theoretical developments emphasizing space as a direct factor that influences the incidence of crime. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of regional characteristics and violent crime incidence in Korea. Applying diverse spatial econometrics models that have less been utilized in the crime literature, this study finds an important association between spatial accessibility and crime incidence. The results suggest that the type of predominant business and the level of road accessibility affect the vulnerability of areas with respect to the incidence of violent crime. This study concludes with some important implications for urban planners and policymakers with respect to crime control and prevention.

Shoplifting causes serious losses to not only stores but also to consumers and society as a whole. There need to be effective society-wide measures to control shoplifting due to its characteristic of playing the role as a stepping stone to induce more serious crimes. However, there is a lack of research on shoplifting in Korea, especially the research analyzing situational factors to suggest effective alternative measures for shoplifting prevention. Therefore, the current study surveyed teenagers, the group known to be the most frequent shoplifters, to see their perception of effectiveness of the situational crime prevention methods used in stores. The result showed that the teenagers found only some of the prevention methods effective, including CCTV, Electronic Article Surveillance(EAS), minimization of blind areas, and watchful clerks. However, factors such as the number of doors and their accessibility and presence of security guards were not perceived to be very effective. Using the result of the survey, this study suggests ways to utilize situational crime prevention methods more effectively to deter shoplifting.
