박판 스프링용 스테인리스강재(STS301CSP)의 시험온도에 따른 기계적 특성평가 (The Effects of the Testing Temperatures on the Mechanical Properties of the Stainless Steel(STS301CSP) for Flat Spring)

  • This study examined the effects of the testing temperature on the mechanical properties of the stainless steels (STS301CSP-3/4H and STS301CSP-H) for flat spring. Hardness test and fatigue test were performed at room temperature (2$0^{\circ}C$ Tensile testandcreeptestwere performed attemperature range 2$0^{\circ}C$~10$0^{\circ}C$. The micro-victors hardness values of STS301CSP-3/4H and STS301CSP-H were HV=443 and HV=488. respectively. The Elastic modulus, tensile strength, yield strength and strain of these materials were decreased with increasing testing temperature. respectively. The maximum creep strain for 100hr atcreep temperature (10$0^{\circ}C$~20$0^{\circ}C$ and creep stress (Tensile strength$\times$50%) of these materials were 0.53%~0.58%. The fatigue limit of STS301CSP-3/4H and STS301CSP-H were 64.5Kgf/mm$^2$ and 67.4Kgf/mm$^2$, respectively.

초유동 콘크리트의 재료특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Research on the Material Properties of Super Flowing Concrete)

  • In this study, the properties of super flowing cocrete containing gly ash were experimentally investigated and compared with those of ordinary concrete. Tests were carried out on five types of super flowing concrete mixes containing fly ash and three types of ordinary concrete mixes without fly ash. Flow test, O-funnel test, box test, Ltype thest and slump test were carried out to obtain the properties for the workability of fresh concrete. Compressime strength, splitting tensile strength, modulus of elasticity. creep and shrinkage test were also obtained as the mechanical properties of hardened concrete. In fresh concrete, it was found that super flowing concrete had excellent workability and flowability compared with ordinary concrete, and the volume ratio of coarse aggregate to concrete volume greatly influenced flowability. Super flowing concrete also had good mechanical properties at both early and late ages with compressive strengths reaching as high as 40 MPa at 28 days. The creep deformation of super flowing concrete investigated were relatively lower than that of ordinary concrete.

Time dependent service load behaviour of prestressed composite tee beams

  • This paper is concerned with the time dependent service load behaviour of prestressed composite tee beams. The effects of creep and shrinkage of the concrete slab are modelled using the age adjusted effective modulus method and a relaxation approach. The tendon strain is determined considering compatibility of deformations and equilibrium of forces between the tendon and the composite tee beam. A parametric study is undertaken to study the influence of various aspects on the stress, strain and deformations of the concrete slab, steel beam and prestressing tendon. The effect of loading type and tendon relaxation has also been considered for various types of prestressing tendon materials. Recommendations are then made in relation to adequate span to depth ratios for varying levels of prestressing force.

Simulating the construction process of steel-concrete composite bridges

  • This paper presents a master-slave constraint method, which may substitute the conventional transformed-section method, to account for the changes in cross-sectional properties of composite members during construction and to investigate the time-dependent performance of steel-concrete composite bridges. The time-dependent effects caused by creep and shrinkage of concrete are considered by combining the age-adjusted effective modulus method and finite element analysis. An efficient computational tool which runs in AutoCAD environment is developed to simulate the construction process of steel-concrete composite bridges. The major highlight of the developed tool consists in a very convenient and user-friendly interface integrated in AutoCAD environment. The accuracy of the proposed method is verified by comparing its results with those provided by using the transformed-section method. Furthermore, the computational efficiency of the developed tool is demonstrated by applying it to a steel-concrete composite bridge.

  • The change of creep deformation mechanism due to the persistent change of stress conditions requires the constitutive relation for the analysis of long tenn behaviors considering age dependent material properties of concrete. In the present research, the process of time dependent behaviors in structure is divided into two stages; the non-mechanical deforming level which causes creep and shrinkage deformations, and the mechanical deforming level which causes mechanical deformations by the restraints of non-mechanical deformations due to internal or external factors. The incremental constitutive relation is derived by expanding the total stress-strain relation on the present time, with respect to the reference time using the Taylor series, and the modulus of elasticity in early ages of concrete was defined thru this process.

벼줄기의 크리이프 거동(擧動)에 관한 연구 (Studies on Creep Behavior for Rice Stalks)

  • 기계화농업에서 농작물은 재배관리, 수확 및 가공과정에서 기계와 접촉하면서 기계로부터 순간적인 하중 및 지속적으로 받는 하중과 같은 여러 종류의 하중을 받아 변형되거나 파괴로 손상되는 등의 결과가 발생한다. 즉 기계작업 과정에서 작물은 파괴도 일어날 수 있으므로 작물의 물성에 따라 기계가 적응하면서 작업이 수행되어야 질적인 작업능율을 높일 수 있게 된다. 본 연구는 재배 및 수확과정에서 기계로부터 받는 벼 줄기의 역학적 특성의 구명을 위하여 크리이프 시험장치를 설계 제작하여 컴퓨터 측정장치를 구성, Burger모형(模型)에 의하여 수확시기에 측방향(側方向)의 압축하중 및 휨하중을 받는 벼 줄기의 크리이프 특성(特性)을 측정(測定) 분석(分析)하였다. 결과를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 크리이프 거동은 4요소 Burger모형(模型)에 의하여 벼줄기의 크리이프거동을 정확히 예측(豫測)할 수 있었으며, 예측한 결과는 실측치에 거의 일치하였다. 2. 압축하중의 크기가 증가함에 따라 크리이프 변형량은 증가하는 경향이었는데, 25N 이하의 낮은 하중에서 정상상태 크리이프거동을 하였고, 30N 이상의 높은 하중에서 대수적 크리이프거동을 하였다. 3. 작용하중에 따른 크리이프거동을 나타내는 모형의 계수를 구하였는데 순간탄성계수 $E_0$ 및 지연시간 ${\tau}_K$는 작용하중의 증가에 따라 증가하였고, 지연탄성계수 $E_r$ 및 점성계수 ${\eta}_v$는 작용하중 증가에 따라 감소하는 점탄성(粘彈性) 재료(材料)임을 확인할 수 있었다. 4. 측방향 압축 하중이 25.0 N 이상 작용할 때 줄기 중부 및 상부에서 정상상태(定常狀態) 크리이프가 일어나, 하중의 작용시 줄기 부위(部位)에 따른 저항력은 하부(下部)에서 가장 컸고, 중부(中部)에서 가장 작게 나타나 파손 가능성이 높은 것으로 판단된다. 5. 압축하중 및 휨하중의 작용에 의한 줄기 부위에 따른 크리이프변형은 줄기 중부(中部)에서 가장 크게 일어났고, 하부(下部)에서 가장 작게 일어나 중부의 저항력이 가장 낮게 나타났다.

섬유로프 계류시스템의 크리프 효과가 부유체의 운동응답 및 계류선의 장력 변화에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Creep Effect of Synthetic Fiber Rope Mooring System on Motion Response of Vessel and Tension of Mooring Line)

  • Growing demand and rapid development of the synthetic fiber rope in mooring system have taken place since it has been used in deep water platform lately. Unlike a chain mooring, synthetic fiber rope composed of lightweight materials such as Polyester(polyethylene terephthalate), HMPE(high modulus polyethylene) and Aramid(aromatic polyamide). Non-linear stiffness and another failure mode are distinct characteristics of synthetic fiber rope when compared to mooring chain. When these ropes are exposed to environmental load for a long time, the length of rope will be increased permanently. This is called 'the creep phenomenon'. Due to the phenomenon, The initial characteristics of mooring systems would be changed because the length and stiffness of the rope have been changed as time goes on. The changed characteristics of fiber rope cause different mooring tension and vessel offset compared to the initial design condition. Commercial mooring analysis software that widely used in industries is unable to take into account this phenomenon automatically. Even though the American Petroleum Institute (API) or other classification rules present some standard or criteria with respect to length and stiffness of a mooring line, simulation guide considers the mechanical properties that is not mentioned in such rules. In this paper, the effect of creep phenomenon in the fiber rope mooring system under specific environment condition is investigated. Desiged mooring system for a Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit(MODU) with HMPE rope which has the highest creep is analyzed in a time domain in order to investigate the effects creep phenomenon to vessel offset and mooring tension. We have developed a new procedure to an analysis of mooring system reflecting the creep phenomenon and it is validated through a time domain simulation using non-linear mooring analysis software, OrcaFlex. The result shows that the creep phenomenon should be considered in analysis procedure because it affects the length and stiffness of synthetic fiber rope in case of high water temperature and permanent mooring system.

고강도 강섬유보강 콘크리트의 역학적 특성 및 장기변형 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Mechanical Properties and Long-Term Deformations of High-Strength Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete)

  • 본 연구에서는 고강도 강섬유보강 콘크리트(HSFRC)의 설계 및 시공을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하기 위하여 역학적 특성 및 장기변형 특성에 관한 연구를 수행하였으며, 탄성계수, 압축강도, 인장강도, 휨강도, 건조수축 및 크리프에 미치는 강섬유 혼입의 영향을 검토하고, 휨파괴인성을 평가하였다. 연구결과, HSFRC의 압축강도에 미치는 강섬유의 혼입효과는 그다지 크지 않았고, 탄성계수는 섬유혼입률이 증가함에 따라 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 인장강도, 휨강도 및 휨인성에 미치는 섬유혼입률($V_f$) 및 섬유형상비($l_f/d_f$)의 영향은 대단히 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이는 $V_f$$l_f/d_f$의 증가와 함께 극한하중에 상응하는 처짐량이 증가하고, 강섬유의 균열구속성능에 의해 하중-처짐곡선의 하강곡선이 완만하게 감소하기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 또한 크리프 및 건조수축에 미치는 섬유혼입률($V_f$)의 영향은 대단히 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 고강도 콘크리트에 강섬유를 혼입하면 크리프 변형에 비해 건조수축 변형의 저감에 더욱 효과가 큰 것으로 나타났다.

복합보강재를 이용한 보강점성토의 거동 (Behavior of Geosynthetic-Reinforced Clay)

  • The reinforced soil has been widely used for constructing retaining walls and embankment with steep slope. However, the benefits of soil reinforcing are often-restricted by a lack of good quality backfill material. In this study, plane strain compression tests were carried out to study the effects of preloading on the behavior of geosynthetic-reinforced saturated clay. For the unreinforced and reinforced soil, drained and undrained shearing tests were peformed after anisotropic consolidation in a constant strain rate. A preoading test was carried out by preloading, creep, unloading, aging and undrained shearing after anisotropic consolidation(K=0.3, σ'₃=50 kPa). It was observed that a reinforced clay, Kanto loam, can have a great initial secant modulus in undraind condition by well compaction and over consolidation. The results shown that the increasing of drained strength should be used to apply a large preloading in the case of reinforced clay.

콘크리트의 초기재령특성을 고려한 합성형 휨 부재의 유한요소 거동해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Flexural Composite Members Considering Early-Age Concrete Properties)

  • A finite element formulation to predict the flexural behavior of composite girder is presented in which the early-age properties of concrete are specified including maturing of elastic modulus, creep and shrinkage. The time dependent constitutive relation accounting for the early-age concrete properties is derived in an incremental format by expanding the total form of stress-strain relation by the first order Taylor series with respect to the reference time. The total potential energy of the flexural composite member is minimized to derive the time dependent finite element equilibrium equation. Numerical applications are made for the 3-span double composite steel box girders which is a composite bridge girder filled with concrete at the bottom of the steel box in the negative moment region. The numerical analysis with considering the variation of concrete elastic modulus are performed to investigate the effect of it on the early-age behavior of composite structures. The one dimensional finite element analysis results are compared with the analytical method based on the sectional analysis. Close agreement is observed among the two methods.
