크리에이티브 디렉터 교체에 따른 버버리 남성복 디자인 및 스타일 연구 (A Study on the Design and Style of Burberry Men's Wear through the Replacement of Creative Directors)

  • This study compares and analyzes the designs of Burberry creative directors, Christopher Bailey and Riccardo Tisci. For this purpose, 322 photographs (176 Christopher Bailey and 146 Riccardo Tisci) were collected and the data analysis criteria were classified into color, shape, material, decoration, item, and fashion style. With respect to the data analysis method, statistical analysis and content analysis were combined. First, the design characteristics of Christopher Bailey top and bottom combined bright tone, tone-in-tone color scheme, H-line, heterogeneous material combination, and smart casual appeared very frequently. Second, the design characteristics of Riccardo Tisci top and bottom combined were monotone, tone-on-tone color scheme, H-line, heterogeneous material combinations, and street culture. Third, the design differences between creative directors were significantly different in color, tone, color arrangement, pattern, material type, material combination, detail, top and bottom items, and fashion style. Burberry men's wear maintains Burberry's traditional design identity with achromatic colors, beige-based colors, and beige checks. Christopher Bailey's design direction is characterized by modernity in a casual mood that emphasizes practicality. The design direction of Riccardo Tisci is characterized by a wide gap between images in a semi-formal style that emphasizes Burberry's tradition and a free-spirited casual style.

국내 패션창작스튜디오의 현황과 발전에 대한 연구 (The current situation and development strategies of the Fashion Creative Studios in Korea)

  • Government policy supporting the fashion industry in Korea has focused on the future development of rising fashion designer's brands, and as a part of this support, several Fashion Creative Studios are presently operated. The purpose of this study is to identify the meaning of these facilities and suggest development strategies for their effective utilization. This paper presents a conceptual understanding based on a literature review, and deduces the direction of Fashion Creative Studios through an exploratory analysis of various case studies and in-depth interviews with five designers, who have graduated from the Seoul Fashion Creative Studio. The results are as follows. Firstly, fashion educational institutions have to provide sufficient information about the Fashion Creative Studios to students. They can also consider adding short-term residencies to the curriculum in which students prepare collections or portfolios for the studios. Secondly, Fashion Creative Studios are required to intensify business and marketing programs to increase real-world support. It would be helpful to provide 1:1 management programs with several segmented stages for the design brands, or connect them to investors who could provide financial support and business expansion. Thirdly, Fashion Creative Studios need to find a way to strengthen textile differentiation and craft characteristics to increase designer brand competitiveness. Broadening participation with textile designers, connecting with experts and ateliers, and promoting collaboration with artists and artisans in the Arts Creative Studios can be further examined to this end.

  • Advances in information and telecommunication technology increasingly reveal the potential of computer supported education. However, most computer supported learning systems until recently did not pay much attention to different characteristics of individual learners. Intelligent learning environments adaptive to learner's preferences and tasks are desired. Each learner has different preferences and needs, so it is very crucial to provide the different styles of learners with different learning environments that are more preferred and more efficient to them. This paper reports a study of the intelligent learning environment where the learner's preferences are diagnosed using learner models, and then user interfaces are customized in an adaptive manner to accommodate the preferences. In this research, the learning user interfaces were designed based on a learning-style model by Felder & Silverman, so that different learner preferences are revealed through user interactions with the system. Then, a learning style modeling is done from learner behavior patterns using Decision Tree and Neural Network approaches. In this way, an intelligent learning system adaptive to learning styles can be built. Further research efforts are being made to accommodate various other kinds of learner characteristics such as emotion and motivation as well as learning mastery in providing adaptive learning support.

캡스톤디자인 프로그램이 간호학생의 창의적리더십, 문제해결능력, 비판적사고 성향에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Capstone Design Program on Creative Leadership, Problem Solving Ability and Critical Thinking)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호학생에게 캡스톤디자인 프로그램을 적용하여 창의적리더십, 문제해결능력, 비판적사고 성향에 미치는 효과를 파악하고자 시도되었다. 연구 대상자는 P시 U 대학교 간호 캡스톤디자인 교과목을 수강한 18명 실험군과 K 대학교 20명을 대조군으로 선정하였다. 자료는 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하여 간호 캡스톤디자인 수업 전 후에 수집되었다. 연구결과 창의적리더십, 문제해결능력, 비판적사고 성향이 통계적으로 유의하게 향상된 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 창의적리더십, 문제해결능력, 비판적 사고성향 에는 양의 상관관계가 나타나 창의적리더십이 높아지면 문제해결능력과 비판적 사고 성향이 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구를 바탕으로 캡스톤디자인 교육 실시 후 창의적리더십, 문제해결능력과 비판적사고 성향 등을 반복적으로 조사하여 이를 간호교육의 다양한 교수학습방법으로 활용할 것을 제언한다.

  • 문화·관광 융합 배경 하에 민간 예술과 문화 창작 제품의 효과적인 결합은 지역 문화 산업의 발전에 대단히 중요한 영향을 미친다. 쉬저우(徐州) 지엔즈(剪紙)는 중국 수베이(蘇北) 지역의 유일한 세계적인 '무형문화재' 프로젝트로 비교적 높은 인문학적·예술적 가치를 갖추고 있어 현대 디자인에 널리 사용된다. 현재 쉬저우 지엔즈 문화 창작 제품의 개발은 주로 2차원 평면 위주의 장식·관상적 작품으로 하는데, 형식이 단일하고 실용성이 강하지 않아, 현대인의 생활 미적 요구를 충족시킬 수 없었다. 본 연구에서는 쉬저우 왕구이잉(王桂英)의 지엔즈를 연구하여, 지엔즈 문화 창작 제품 개발 및 디자인 원칙을 제안했으며, 디자인 활용을 위해 왕구이잉의 전형적인 '거위' 패턴을 선택하여 문화 창작 제품 디자인에서 쉬저우 지엔즈 응용 가치에 대해 탐색하고 전문가의 인터뷰를 통해 디자인 원칙의 타당성을 입증했다. 본 연구가 지엔즈 문화의 현대적 계승과 혁신적인 발전을 위한 일정한 참고 자료로 제공되기를 바란다.

  • 4차 산업혁명 시대가 도래함으로써, 교육환경이 변화되고 있으며, 이를 대비하기 위한 교수 학습 연구는 필수적이다. 예비 교원의 창의적 교육 역량을 강화하기 위해 교원양성대학의 교육과정과 교수 학습 모델의 개선은 매우 중요하다. 미래의 교육은 의사소통과 협업을 기반으로 발현되는 창의적 사고 함양을 위한 교육이 되어야 한다[1]. 본 연구에서는 미래형 교수 학습 모델을 개선하여 실제 수업에 적용하였다. 또한 우리는 미래 창의교원 역량에 대한 사전 및 사후 설문조사를 실시하여 효과성을 검증하였다. 설문조사는 공통 만족도 문항과 미래 창의교원 역량에 대한 질문으로 구성되며, 분석결과 사전 평가에 비해 사후 평가에서 미래 창의교원 역량이 증가했음을 확인할 수 있었다.

체크리스트법에 의한 창의적인 패션디자인의 조형적 특성 (The Formative Characteristic of Creative Fashion Design by the Checklist Method)

  • This study contributes to the development of a creative fashion design and provides concrete data regarding the process of creative ideas through an analysis of the characteristics of the fashion design idea and the characteristics of fashion design from a formative perspective according to Osborn's checklist method. The data collection involved 466 pages that focused on the work of 30 designers (2005 S/S-2009 F/W) extracted from the websites style.com and ifb.co.kr. In the cases of pictures collected, a content analysis was applied based on statistical analysis and design analysis criteria. First, as a result of the examination of the characteristics of ideas for fashion design based on the checklist, it turned out that elimination method is most frequently employed, followed by addition, conversion, limit and combination. In addition, every idea showed a significant difference in terms of the applied item, expression method, and balance. Second, due to the study of the formative characteristics of fashion design (based on the checklist), it turned out that square-shaped silhouette, achromatic and chromatic colors, combined tones, identical color combination, complex texture, and identical texture combination are frequently used. In addition, every idea showed a significant difference in terms of form, color, and fabric. We believe that the use of the checklist is useful for the development of a creative design because formative characteristics vary based on the characteristic of ideas of fashion design.

Study on the Development of a Fundamental course for Overcoming Blocks to Creativity in Design Education

  • In the midst of a continued discourse and development concerning design education and its impact on innovation and creativity, I believe that design education still holds the key to enhancing design methodology while increasing creativity by having students take on several creative roles in an interactive and enjoyable studio course. Clearly, there exist impediments that block the creative process in our standard track in design education; however, a course entitled "The Creative Workshop" can overcome such obstacles. Through this course, a student can learn the essential skills of a designer: inventive thinking, a sense of aesthetics, and a spirit of collaboration. In addressing each of the three essential elements, this course has devised role-plays in the way of projects. Simply put, students will be required to demonstrate and, therefore, express their unique creativity that may have otherwise gone muted. Such creative expression can take form in a low stakes, open forum that heralds the invaluable attribute in design such as creative freedom. As a result, the true spirit of creativity is fostered rather than mere aesthetics and styling. Moreover, through role plays, the focus shifts its center from design, allowing each student to explore the uncharted areas of one's own creativity which may come naturally to some extend while disconcerting to others. It may prove particularly uncomfortable for Korean students whose ideas about education have been directly connected to the strict and regimented school system that stresses adherence to standardization such as the national college entrance exam. This course, therefore, is aimed stretch the scope and scale of students' creativity as they learn to collaborate on role plays, utilizing diverse skills from various disciplines.

지식의 시각화에 의한 창의적 패션디자인 연구 -ATTA 평가항목에 의한 구찌컬렉션을 중심으로- (A Study on Creative Fashion Design by Visualization of Knowledge -Focusing on Gucci Collection by ATTA Evaluation Items-)

  • In a rapidly changing fashion design world, creative ideas are always required. Knowledge has been created as an art, exhibiting a new imagination that surpasses reality, while being visualized from the past. The purpose of this study is to derive types of visualization of knowledge for continuous creation of fashion design. The study consists of literature and empirical studies. ATTA, a creativity evaluation method made by Torrance applied for analyzing of Gucci fashion design collections from 2016-2017. Creativity of the Gucci collection by ATTA evaluation items are that first, a vivid idea was revealed through collection history, myths and animal and plants, second, conceptual incongruity is in the composition of the garment, third, provocative questions are the symbolism of the meaning of the text, fourth, different perspectives derive a new formative beauty through the synthesis of twisted elements, fifth, abstraction is a symbolic expression of animals and plants, sixth, synthesis is a mixture of various materials and techniques by plural inspiration, seventh, context, it is developed as a design accompanied by stories of history and myth and eighth, fantasy is fictitious animals and animals and detail. In addition, formativeness of fashion design by visualization of this knowledge was extracted with contamination, symbolism, enjoyment and fabrication. Visualization of the knowledge is expected to be used as a strategy to attract ongoing ideas for creative fashion designs.

박물관 자원에 기초한 문화 창작물의 활성화 응용 연구 (Research on the Dynamic Application of Cultural and Creative Products based on Museum Resources)

  • 박물관은 역사와 문화 축적의 실체이자 상징이고 박물관 유물은 역사의 혼을 담고 있는 단서이며 박물관 문화 창작물은 언제나 가지고 다닐 수 있는 역사이다. 현대박물관은 전통 박물관의 '물중심'을 '사람중심'으로 변화시키고 그 활태전승에 치중하는데, 박물관의 문화 창작물은 활태전승의 일종의 표현 방식이다. 이 글은 인터넷 조사 연구, 현지 답사, 전문가 인터뷰 등의 방법을 통해 중국 박물관 문화 창작물이 현재 직면한 기회와 어려움을 분석하여 박물관 문화 창작물의 디자인 방법을 보완하려 한다. 박물관 문화 내포 요소의 발굴과 박물관 문화 창작물 기능 요소의 확대와 박물관 문화 창작물 디자인 요소의 혁신과 문화 창작물과 인간의 공감 요소의 제조에 의한 4가지 요소를 일체화한 디자인 방법으로 탐구하고 사례실천을 검증하여 중소형 박물관의 문화 창작물들이 디자인 기법 미비로 인한 문화 창작물 기능성 부족, 혁신성 부족, 전파성 부족 등의 단점을 보완한다. 더 많은 사람을 박물관으로 안내하고, 전통 문화를 전파선양하며, 인간과 유물, 인간과 인간의 공감대를 형성시킨다.
