A Novel Method for Robots to Provide First Aid to Injured People Inside the Mines Using GIS Technology

  • The artificial intelligence of robot is the weakness of digital intelligence of a person who able to train, self-realize and to develop competences, creative, professional and behavioral skills. A new methodology proposed for managing robots inside the mines using an electronic system designed for driving robots to injured people in seas, mines or wells who can not be reached by human force. This paper also explains the concept of managing and remote-controlling the process of searching and helping the injured. The user controls the robot through an application that receives all the reports that the robot sends from the injured person. The robot's tasks are to take a sample of the blood of the injured person, examine it, and measure the percentage of oxygen underground and send it to the user who directs the robot to pump a specific percentage of oxygen to the injured person. The user can also communicate with the person The patient and determine his condition through the camera connected to the robot equipped with headphones to communicate with the injured and the user can direct the camera of the robot and take x-rays from the injured.

  • This paper discusses the technical exploration of Ang Lee's cinematic works and the unique visual beauty he presents. Ang Lee has successfully tackled various themes and genres, creating films that harmoniously blend Eastern and Western cultural sensibilities. These films are technologically innovative and show the interaction between technology and art, industry and culture. Therefore, this paper analyses the correlation between film technology and visual beauty in Ang Lee's works, and explores the discourse on how the relationship between film technology and art has changed with the development of film. Furthermore, this paper aims to provide insights into how technological innovation can enhance artistic creativity. The contribution of this study lies in the in-depth exploration of the relationship between film technology and art, with a focus on technological innovation and the visual beauty in Ang Lee's works. The research findings reveal that Ang Lee's films showcase the application of advanced technologies, captivating audiences with their unique visual aesthetics. The utilization of emerging technologies enables his films to possess not only visual impact but also convey profound emotions and themes. We conclude that technological innovation in film not only provides artists with more creative tools and expressive techniques but also, when combined with artistic sensibilities, creates captivating and visually expressive cinematic works. This discovery offers a new perspective for film production and opens up greater possibilities for collaboration between artists and technology experts.

제로 웨이스트 패션 실천을 위한 패턴 커팅 설계 (Pattern-cutting design for zero-waste fashion practice)

  • Zero-waste pattern cutting is a groundbreaking sustainable fashion practice. However, few brands and designers have pursued this method because it requires creative pattern design that diverges from the existing process of using pattern slopers. Therefore, application within the fashion industry is not sufficient. Therefore, in an attempt to highlight the key characteristics of zero-waste pattern design, this study classifies and analyzes cases in which similar designs employ zero-waste pattern-cutting techniques. We hope to make zero-waste pattern design more accessible by presenting realistic pattern-cutting guidelines. To this end, theoretical research on relevant literature, previous research, and online resources and an empirical analysis of cases involving zero-waste pattern cutting were conducted in parallel. As a result of the study, we were able to classify the factors of zero-waste pattern design in terms of fabric use, design, and composition. Regarding materials, our research revealed the importance of appropriate fabric width, understanding the difference between waste minimization and minimal fabric use, and easy reuse and recycling. In terms of design, the simultaneous progress of pattern and design work, adjustable loose silhouettes, and the use of surplus fabric for functional and decorative details emerged as key characteristics. For composition, we found that size adjustment limits, arrangement irregularity, and pattern shapes were crucial elements and that various arrangements revealed unlimited design potential.

Application and Development of astronomical STEAM program for Science Culture and Creative Education

  • 이 연구의 목적은 PEST 방법론을 적용한 STEAM 프로그램 개발 및 적용에 대한 효과성을 알아보는 창의교육을 위한 연구이다. 특히, 이 연구는 과학문화 소외지역에 대한 이동천문대 활용 STEAM 프로그램을 개발하여 이에 대한 학생들의 수업효과 및 만족도를 알아보는 연구로, 과학 문화에 소외된 지역의 학생들에게 천문에 대한 흥미를 주어 향후 천문과학의 올바른 과학적 개념을 이해하고 미래 직업으로서 천문관련 분야에 관심을 갖도록 하는 데 있다. 이 연구에서 개발한 STEAM 프로그램은 관련분야 전문가 5명이 한국천문연구원을 통해 이동천문대 교육 프로그램에 대한 지속적인 연구와 PEST 방법론 적용 및 소외지역에 대한 현장 적합성 연구를 5회의 워크숍과 전문가 타당화회의와 Pilot test를 통해 최종 STEAM 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이 연구에서 개발된 STEAM 프로그램의 적용 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이 연구에서 개발된 이동천문대는 모든 학생들에게 천문에 대한 호기심을 자극하는 긍정적인 효과를 나타내었다. 둘째, 이 프로그램은 총 11시간의 PEST 방법을 적용한 프로그램으로, '상황제시 1차시, 감성적 체험 5차시, 창의적 설계 5차시로 구성되어 과학문화 소외지역 학생들에게 높은 수업 만족도를 나타내었다. 따라서 PEST 방법을 적용한 이동천문대 STEAM 프로그램은 학습자의 천문과학에 대한 과학적 소양과 과학적 본성을 불러일으키는데 매우 긍정적인 효과를 나타낼 것으로 사료되며, 추후 연구에서 다양한 학년과 지역 및 위계에 따른 프로그램의 개발과 적용될 필요가 있다.

역량기반 교육과정 개발 사례연구: 광주·전남 패션디자인 전공을 중심으로 (A Case Study for the Development of a Competency-Based Fashion Design Curriculum in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do)

  • This case study is centered on the developing process for the curriculum of fashion design major that is focused on the concept of competency, which is becoming increasingly more important in universities. The purpose of this study is to develop a competency-oriented curriculum for fashion design majors based on recent social changes that accentuate the importance of competency in such programs. In order to establish a competency-oriented curriculum of the Department of Fashion Design, the researchers examined environmental trends within the fashion industry, the curriculum and major competencies of other universities were examined. As a result, the key ability types of the Department of Fashion Design at A University, a local private university, were determined to be: communication and consideration, creativity and convergence, digital fashion, and practical adaptability. Four major abilities were selected to develop competencies suitable for the aforementioned ability types. These abilities are design planning and development, creative and convergent thinking, integrated information search and utilization, and field expertise application. From there, the curriculum was organized with these four major abilities in mind, and curriculum completion plans were developed for each grade and semester according to the stage and level of contents for each subject. To ensure the validity of the curriculum, it is necessary to develop a back-flow system that demonstrates whether the targer competency has been acquired through a competence-based curriculum.

A Research of User Experience on Multi-Modal Interactive Digital Art

  • The concept of single-modal digital art originated in the 20th century and has evolved through three key stages. Over time, digital art has transformed into multi-modal interaction, representing a new era in art forms. Based on multi-modal theory, this paper aims to explore the characteristics of interactive digital art in innovative art forms and its impact on user experience. Through an analysis of practical application of multi-modal interactive digital art, this study summarises the impact of creative models of digital art on the physical and mental aspects of user experience. In creating audio-visual-based art, multi-modal digital art should seamlessly incorporate sensory elements and leverage computer image processing technology. Focusing on user perception, emotional expression, and cultural communication, it strives to establish an immersive environment with user experience at its core. Future research, particularly with emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence(AR) and Virtual Reality(VR), should not merely prioritize technology but aim for meaningful interaction. Through multi-modal interaction, digital art is poised to continually innovate, offering new possibilities and expanding the realm of interactive digital art.

드론을 활용한 산업단지 재난감시 및 모니터링 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Industrial Complex Disaster Surveillance and Monitoring System Using Drones)

  • 본 연구에서는 5G 네트워크용 UAV(: Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)를 사용한 산업단지 내의 현장 상황을 실시간 감시하는 시스템에 대해 소개한다. UAV에 장착된 센서(화재, 유해가스 검출, 산업 재해형 인체 사고 감지)에서 모니터링 이벤트가 발생하면 센서의 주요 정보들이 UAS(: Unmanned Aerial System)애플리케이션 서버로 전달한다. 이러한 정보 전달 처리결과로, 산업단지공단의 관리자나 운영자는 사고 위험 상황별 트리거 처리를 통한 산업단지공단 내의 현장에서 인명사고와 화재, 그리고 유해 가스검출에 대한 법적인 근거 자료를 확보할 수 있게 되었다.

디자인사고 기반 의료인문학 수업 개발과 의과대학생의 인식 (Development of a Medical Humanities Course Based on Design Thinking and Medical Students' Perceptions)

  • Amid the increasing interest in medical humanities education, this study developed a medical humanities course that utilized design thinking to foster creative thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills that pre-medical students should possess. The course's efficacy was assessed by evaluating improvements in core design thinking skills. The present study was conducted among 83 first-year medical students after planning and implementing a design thinking course. The reflection journals written by students along the course of the class were examined using the template analysis technique to evaluate the effectiveness of the class. The study's primary findings showed the successful development of step-by-step medical humanities education content utilizing design thinking and its practical implementation in a class. Moreover, the course improved students' core design thinking skills effectively, and in a balanced way. These results illustrate the effective application of design thinking in medical school through a medical humanities course. These findings indicate that a medical humanities course can help medical students showcase their abilities to collaborate and solve problems in the real world. This paper suggests the need for further research to develop a curriculum that integrates design thinking and investigate the relationship between medical students' core competencies and design thinking-based courses.

Idaho national laboratory to demonstrate collaboration first versus competition to accelerate achieving a secure clean energy future by 2031

  • Idaho National Laboratory (INL) announced at COP27 it would reach net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2031. As a Nuclear, Energy and Environment, and National Homeland Security laboratory, the predominant solution to closing the clean energy gap will include nuclear as a safe, clean, reliable and affordable electricity source with the additional benefit of producing heat and hydrogen to fuel INL's large transportation fleet. INL's collaboration first vs. competition is essential to the program's success. The focused actions in INL's Nuclear Roadmap include: Infrastructure, Licensing/Regulatory, Financial, Time to Market, Fuel Cycle and Public Confidence/Communications. The roadmap also includes nuclear technology innovations and creative partnerships with utility providers, regulators, businesses, community members, and Indigenous Peoples to accelerate deployment of advanced reactors. Through development of the Net-Zero Nuclear Roadmap, INL will offer a model to provide safe and secure energy for the nation and the world by: (1) establishing the necessary infrastructure on its 890-square mile site to support demonstration, (2) showing proven pathways through the licensing and regulation process, (3) partnering with utilities to ensure commercial application, and (4) collaborating with industry to site new technologies.

초등과학 수업에서 과학교육마술 프로그램의 개발 및 적용에 따른 효과 (Development of Educational Science Magic Program in Elementary Science Education and Effects of its Application)

  • 이 연구는 과학교육마술 프로그램을 개발하고 실제 교수-학습 과정에 적용함으로써 과학교육마술 프로그램 활용 수업이 초등학생의 창의적 문제해결력, 과학탐구능력, 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향과 과학교육마술 프로그램 활용 수업에 대한 학생들의 인식을 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구를 위해 경기도 수원시에 위치한 J초등학교 3학년 2개 학급 60명을 대상으로 비교반(30명)과 실험반(30명)을 선정하였고, 비교반은 교과서 중심의 수업 방법을 적용하였으며 실험반은 과학교육마술 프로그램을 활용하여 수업을 진행하였다. 실험처치 후, 실험반과 비교반을 대상으로 각 영역에 대한 검사를 실시하여 과학교육마술 프로그램이 창의적 문제해결력, 과학탐구능력, 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향과 과학교육마술 프로그램 활용 수업에 대한 학생들의 인식을 알아보았다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 과학교육마술 프로그램을 적용한 실험반 학생들의 창의적 문제해결력의 변화에 있어서 비교반 학생들에 비해 통계적으로 유의한 향상을 보였다(p<.05). 둘째, 과학교육마술 프로그램을 적용한 실험반 학생들의 과학탐구능력 점수는 비교반 학생들에 비해 향상되었으나 통계적으로 유의한 수준은 아니었다. 그러나 기초탐구과정의 하위 영역 중 '측정'에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈으며, 과학교육마술 프로그램 활용 수업은 측정 능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 셋째, 실험반 학생들의 과학적 태도 점수는 비교반 학생들에 비해 향상되었으나 통계적으로 유의한 수준은 아니었다. 그러나 과학적 태도의 하위 영역 중 '끈기성'에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈으며, 과학교육마술 프로그램 활용 수업은 끈기성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 넷째, 설문 분석 결과 '과학교육마술 수업으로 과학 수업이 즐거웠다'(100%), '과학교육마술 수업을 할 때 수업에 더 열심히 참여하였다'(87%), '과학교육마술 프로그램이 수업 내용을 이해하는 데 도움이 되었다'(93%), '과학교육마술 수업을 하면서 과학에 대한 흥미와 관심이 많아졌다'(90%), '앞으로도 과학교육마술 수업을 계속 했으면 좋겠다'(100%)라는 의견은 과학교육마술 프로그램이 학생들의 과학에 대한 관심 및 흥미 증가, 수업 참여도 향상, 학습 내용의 이해, 과학 수업에서의 즐거움 증가 등 인지적, 정의적 영역에 골고루 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이 연구에서 적용한 과학교육마술 프로그램은 창의적 문제해결력 및 과학에 대한 흥미와 관심, 학습 내용의 이해도, 과학수업에서의 즐거움, 수업 참여도 등을 향상시킬 수 있다는 측면에서 초등 과학 현장에 활용할 가치가 있음을 알 수 있다.
