Cradle(R)의 Web Access를 이용한 철도시스템 사양관리환경 구축방안 연구 (A Study on the Method to Establish an User Environment of a Requirements Management Database Using Web Access of Cradle(R))

  • The Cradle(R) is specialized systems engineering tool that developed by 3SL(Structure Software System Limited) that has headquarters in U.K. and U.S.A.. It is recognized as the fastest growing Computer-Aided Systems Engineering Tool(CASE Tool). We built up requirements management database by using Cradle(R) on urban maglev program in Korea. So Cradle(R) provide a network function, is available accesses of clients in external organization that is associated on urban maglev program by the internet. However the network function of Cradle(R) require an opening of some a specific network ports and may causes a decreasing network speed. In this paper, we propose the method to establish an user environment of a requirements management database that overcome constraints on network condition.

  • 시스템 엔지니어링을 수행하기 위해서는 전산지원도구의 사용이 필수적이다. 전산지원 도구를 이용하여 시스템 엔지니어링을 수행할 때 제일 먼저 수행해야 할 작업은 스키마를 구축하는 것이다. 스키마의 구축은 사용할 데이터의 종류, 각 데이터의 속성 그리고 각 데이터간의 연관관계를 정의하는 것으로 세분화 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 고속열차 기술개발 사업에서 사용하고 있는 시스템엔지니어링 전산지원도구인 Cradle(R)의 스키마를 구축한 사례에 대해서 소개하였다.

A Study on the Running Safety of F26 Turnout and Vehicle Model

  • When a vehicle passes through turnout, it is required to minimize the changes of lateral force for running safety of vehicle. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze interaction between the vehicle and the turnout in order to estimate the lateral force and the derailment coefficient on the turnout. In this paper, analysis model of the vehicle and turnout are established and analysis is carried out when the vehicle passes through turnout in order to improve running safety of the vehicle on turnout. To verify the vehicle and turnout analysis model, the contact points between wheel and rail and the influence of changing cradle and tongue rail are also discussed.

  • 일반적으로 고객의 요구사항을 시스템이나 서비스로 구현하는 과정에서 구현된 시스템이나 서비스들이 요구사항을 만족하여 개발 되었는지를 검증하게 된다. 그러나 철도분야의 안전체계나 안전기준을 개발하는 국가연구개발프로젝트의 경우 일반적인 검증 프로세스를 활용하여 이러한 성과물을 검증하는데 많은 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 국가연구개발프로젝트를 통해서 산출되는 안전체계, 안전기준, 프로세스 등의 성과물에 대한 체계적이고 효과적인 검증 프로세스를 제시하였으며, 성과물 검증 프로세스의 결과물을 전산 관리할 수 있는 방안 또한 제시하였다.

  • This paper analyses characteristics of the numerical controller industry in market formation and the flow of information between users and producers and the characteristic of knowledge base of the industry and discuses the difficulties derived, from the characteristics, in accumulation of technological capability. In market formation between users and producers, the multi-layered market is not favorable to domestic producers in that lower end market is not large enough to provide cradle market to them which produce inferior quality and lower price than imported products. The credibility of the performance of a product is different to prove until a critical mass of products are sold. Therefore gaining market share is deterred by unproven credibility of the performance of the product. The flow of information between users and producers is limited. The flow of information on users environment through mass market to producers is essential for improving credibility of a product. The nature of knowledge base is tacit and the means of knowledge transmission is limited. Technological licensing and reverse engineering, which have been conventional means of knowledge transmission, are not useful in the numerical controller industry. These characteristics provide conditions of vicious circle in accumulation of technological capability of the numerical controller industry. This paper argues that these characteristics of the industry challenge existing approach to R&D management and framework of science and technology policy.

  • A railway is a complex system integrated with a lot of technical elements such as trains, track facilities, human factors, operation & control and maintenance. As a mass transportation system, a railway could contain potential risks that may result in a high death rate and property losses. Accordingly, Railroad Safety Technology R&D Corps. is adopting the plan of the construction of Railway Safety Test Facilities as a part of the Railway Total Safety Project to enhance the railway safety, and carrying out researches on effective project management methods with Systems Engineering techniques. Recently, various systems engineering tools such as CORE or Cradle are applied to manage the system requirements and the project management process in the part of the aerospace engineering and automobile engineering so on. The railway industry also makes an effort to develop an efficient management skills using systems engineering tools as the railway system is multi-disciplinary. Therefore, we propose the more effectual management method of constructing the Railway Safety Test Facilities applying the systems engineering tool to the research.

  • During the complex systems development, a great deal of data are generated from both the systems engineering process and project management process, and also some data are required to be prepared for the system engineering management plan (SEMP). For the successful completion of the project, it is necessary to effectively manage all the data in order to maintain data consistency and traceability. To fulfill the necessity, this paper introduces the concept of an integrated data architecture and discusses its realization with $Cradle^{(R)}$(a computer aided systems engineering tool). Also, it was described how to automate the production of the SEMP in that working environment. The result of the approach, managing complex data efficiently in the systems engineering view, has been successfully applied in the Railway Safety Development Program.

국내 낙농우(젖소)로부터의 우유생산에 대한 전과정평가 (Life Cycle Assessment of the Domestic Dairy Cow System)

  • 최근 낙농업은 지구온난화 등 환경에 미치는 영향 문제에 직면하고 있다. 특히 젖소로부터 발생하는 장내발효 메탄가스와 젖소를 사육하는데 필요한 사료작물의 재배에 의한 여러 환경영향이 이슈가 되고 있다. 유럽에서는 Product Environmental Footprint (PEF)라는 통합적 라벨링제도를 통해 공산품뿐만 아니라 낙농제품 등과 같은 각종 농업생산물에 대한 환경영향 산정 방법론을 연구하고 있는 실정이다. 이 연구에서는 전과정평가(Life cycle assessment, LCA)를 이용하여 국내 낙농우(젖소)의 전과정에 대해 전과정 단계별로 환경영향을 산정하고 주요이슈를 규명하였다. 시스템 경계는 젖소를 위한 사료작물 재배, 사료가공, 전소 관리와 가축분뇨처리(cradle-to-gate)이다. 기능단위는 1 kg의 우유(Fat Protein Corrected Milk, FPCM(유지 및 단백질 보정유)) 생산이다. 국내 낙농우(젖소) 시스템의 환경영향은 사육단계, 사료작물 재배단계가 분뇨처리단계 및 사료생산 단계보다 더 많은 환경영향범주에서 주요 전과정 단계로 규명되었다. 이에 농장 내 우유 생산과정 환경영향을 저감하기 위해서는 사육 시 장내발효 메탄가스 발생 억제기술 개발, 농장 기기 장비의 에너지효율 개선, 작물 재배 시 발생하는 침출수 관리 및 사료작물 재배 시 비료의 유실방지 기술 개발 등이 주요 환경이슈를 개선하기 위한 방안으로 판단된다.

효과적인 기술검토를 위한 동료검토 프로세스 모델에 관한 연구 (On the Peer-Review Process Model for an Effective Technical Review)

  • 일반적으로 프로젝트를 수행하는 과정에서 적절한 기술 계획에 따라 진척도 및 성과에 대한 기술검토를 규칙적으로 실시하게 된다. 그러나 일정 시점에서 수행되는 기술검토를 진행하는 과정에서 불명확한 진척도 및 성과 보고, 의견의 불일치, 시간지연 등 여러 가지 문제가 발생한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 규칙적인 기술검토 이전에 동료검토를 진행하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 연구개발을 수행하는 과정에 활용되는 효과적인 동료검토 프로세스를 개발하였으며, 추가적으로 동료검토에 관한 일반적인 오해와 개선방안에 대해 서술하였다.
