강섬유보강 철근콘크리트구조물에 있어서의 균열폭 계산 (Calculation of Crack Width in SFRC Structures)

  • A method is described for predicting crack with and spacing in Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC). The crack behavior of SFRC influenced by longitudinal reinforcement ratio, volume and type of steel fiber, strength of concrete. It can be observed from experimental results that addition of steel fiber to reinforced concrete beam reduces crack width in serviceability limit states. The proposed method predicts crack widths in cracking stage of the beam. Calculated crack widths obtained for reinforced concrete beams and different volume and type of steel fiber, strength of concrete showed good agreement with experimental results.

  • Modified Lagrange functional for solving an elastic problem with a crack is considered. Two formulations of a crack problem are investigated. The first formulation concerns a problem where a crack extending to the outer boundary of the domain. In the second formulation, we consider a problem with an internal crack. Duality ratio is established for initial and dual problem in both cases.

  • 이 연구에서는 순환굵은골재를 사용하여 31~38 MPa 범주의 압축강도를 갖는 콘크리트의 보의 휨강도 실험연구를 수행하였다. 천연굵은골재에 대한 순환굵은골재의 치환률과 철근비를 실험변수로 고려하였다. 순환굵은골재의 치환률로써 0, 30, 50 및 100%를 고려하였으며, 주철근의 철근비로써 0.50, 0.79 및 1.14%를 고려하였다. 4점 하중재하 시험방법을 통하여 순환골재 콘크리트 보의 균열 및 파괴거동, 하중-처짐 관계 특성을 파악하였다. 천연굵은골재 보와 순환굵은골재 보의 휨균열 형상은 거의 유사하며, 전반적으로 순환굵은골재 보의 균열간격이 천연굵은골재 보의 균열간격보다 작다. 순환골재치환률에 따른 균열폭 크기는 뚜렷한 차이를 나타내지 않는다. 또한, 설계기준에 의한 예측식을 이용하여 실험 부재의 휨강도를 산정하였다.현행 설계기준에 의한 순환골재 콘크리트 보의 휨강도 예측결과는 실제의 휨강도를 과소평가하여 보수적인 설계를 제공하는 것으로 나타난다.

  • The purpose of a fatigue crack arrest design is to prevent a fatigue fracture of machine and structure resulted from unstable crack growth. In all cases of load transfer to second elements such as stringers, doublers or flanges, crack arrest is possible; arrest occurring when the fatigue crack reaches the second element. In the present work, a numerical analysis was carried out to estimate the effect of shape parameters on fatigue crack growth and arrest behavior of integrally stiffened panels. Based on these results, a set of fatigue crack arrest design chart is presented as "non-dimensional arrest load - thickness ratio" relationship.

  • This work has been investigated the ralationship between single surface crack length and crack depth have influence on the fatigue life. The simulation based on experimental results of 2.25 Cr-1Mo steel at various crack configuration ratios has enabled successful prediction of fatigue life at room temperature. The effect of crack depth should be considered for predicting fatigue crack growth rates as well as that of surface crack length. It is also shwn that the crack growth mechanisms are in good agreement with expreimental data according to the interaction of crack length and crack depth.

  • To obtain representative fatigue crack growth characteristic curve in residual stress field, fatigue crack growth test was carried out at various stress ratio and fatigue crack growth characteristic curve was represented using crack closure concept. Obtained results are as follows;K(sub)op/K(sub)max was independent of K(sub)max when R was lower than 0.5 and crack closure phenomenon was not observed when R is higher than 0.5. therefore neglecting crack closure behaviour, actual fatigue crack growth rate can be underestimated. Thus, considering crack closure phenomenon, fatigue crack growth characteristics curve of A 106 Gr B Steel weldment can be effectively estimated.

  • This paper examines the crack growth behavior of 7075-T651 aluminum alloy under high-low block loading condition. The cantilever beam type specimen with a chevron notch is used in this study. The crack growth and closure are investgated by compliance method. The applied initial stress ratios are R=-0.5, R=0.0 and R=0.25 Crack length($\alpha$), effective stress intensity factor range(ΔKeff), ratio of effective stress intensity factor range(U) and crack growth rate(d$\alpha$/dN) etc. are inspected fracture mechanics estimate.

Al2024의 균열성장거동에 관한 연구 (A Study of Crack Growth Behavior of Al2024)

  • This study describes the fatigue characteristics for Al2024 alloy, which is aircraft structure material. For this work, the plane-strain fracture toughness test, the plane-stress fracture toughness test and the crack growth rates test were conducted under the standard testing method. Test equipment is a computer-controlled closed-loop fatigue testing machine. The data of each test result is very important to aircraft structure reliability estimation, life prediction, design analysis, endurance analysis and damage tolerance analysis. In addition, the fatigue crack growth threshold($\DeltaKth$) value decreased as the stress ratio increased. Also, $\DeltaKth$ decreased as the thickness increased in LT, TL directions.
