연안지역 특성에 따른 상세 토지피복도 적용 효과 및 기상장에 미치는 영향 분석 (The Application of High-resolution Land Cover and Its Effects on Near-surface Meteorological Fields in Two Different Coastal Areas)

  • In this study, the effects of high-resolution land cover on the simulation of near-surface meteorological fields were evaluated in two different coastal regions using Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model. These analyses were performed using the middle classification land cover data upgraded by the Korean Ministry of Environment (KME). For the purpose of this study, two coastal areas were selected as follows: (1) the southwestern coastal (SWC) region characterized by complex shoreline and (2) the eastern coastal (EC) region described a high mountain and a simple coastline. The result showed that the application of high-resolution land cover were found to be notably distinguished between the SWC and EC regions. The land cover improvement has contributed to generate the realistic complex coastline and the distribution of small islands in the SWC region and the expansion of urban and built-up land along the sea front in the EC region, respectively. The model study indicated that the improvement of land cover caused a temperature change on wide areas of inland and nearby sea for the SWC region, and narrow areas along the coastal line for the EC region. These temperature variations in the two regions resulted in a decrease and an increase in land-breeze and sea-breeze intensity, respectively (especially the SWC region). Interestingly, the improvement of land cover can contribute large enough to change wind distributions over the sea in coastal areas.

  • 융설 모형의 중요 매개변수인 적설분포면적은 실제 우리나라에서 적설과 관련한 관측 자료의 부족으로 인해 매개변수 추정이 어렵다. 이러한 문제점 해결을 위해 원격탐사기법을 활용하여 적설분포면적을 추출하였다. 본 연구에서는 1997년부터 2006년까지의 겨울철 NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration)의 AVHRR(Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer) 위성영상의 8 sets의 총 108개 영상을 이용하여 적설분포면적을 추출하였고, 기상청의 지상기상관측소의 최심적설심 자료를 이용하여 GIS 자료를 구축함으로써 적설심의 공간적 분포를 추출하였다. 이를 국내 5대유역인 한강, 낙동강, 금강, 영산강, 섬진강 유역에 대하여 융설모형의 주요 매개변수인 적설분포면적, 유역 평균, 최대 적설심과 적설분포감소비곡선을 구축하였다. 그 중 적설분포면적감소곡선 (SDC : Snow cover Depletion Curve)는 적설분포면적의 감소형태를 나타내주는 지표로써 융설의 가장 민감한 매개변수이다. 이를 국내 5대강 유역에 대해 구축하여 정량화하였다.

CLUE-S 모델과 시계열 Landsat 자료를 이용한 토지피복 변화 예측 (The Expectation of the Land Use and Land Cover Using CLUE-S Model and Landsat Images)

  • 특정 기간 사이의 토지의 변화들을 파악하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 그러나, 토지를 변화 시킬 수 있는 요소들은 많이 존재할 수 있기 때문에 그러한 요인들을 규명하기란 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 토지 변화 요인들을 정량적으로 사용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하고자 하였다. CLUE-S 모델을 이용하여 사용한 자료는 1987년 Landsat TM 영상과 2001년 Landsat ETM+ 영상이며, 1987년부터 2010년까지 23년 동안의 토지 이용도를 시뮬레이션 하였다. 그 결과, 2001년 영상의 감독 분류 결과와 시뮬레이션을 수행한 2001년 결과 사이의 정확도는 93.69%가 나왔으며, 이러한 결과를 통해 미래의 토지 피복 현황도를 예측할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, we study a dynamic characteristics of HDD. HDD is constructed by spindle motor/disk unit, cover, base, E-block arm/suspension unit, and rotary actuator/voice coil motor. First, we make a FE model of spindle motor/disk unit and analyzed natural frequency/mode analytically and experimentally. Especially, the change of natural frequecy of spindle motor unit according to change of B.C is considered. Second, FE model of cover, base is made. Third, we assemble the above three FE mode, we get HEE assembly and dynamic analysis of HDD assembly is accomplished.

세라믹 돔포트 커버 상사모델의 파괴거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fracture Behavior of Scaled Model for Ceramic Dome Port Cover)

  • 본 연구에서는 액체연료와 고체연료를 추진제로 사용하는 공기흡입식 추진기관의 세라믹 돔포트 커버의 파괴거동을 수행하였다. 파괴 특성은 충격파관을 이용하여 세라믹을 이용한 돔포트 커버 상사모델을 통하여 파괴시험 및 분석되었다. 파괴 거동은 압력센서를 통하여 파괴 압력을 측정하고 초고속 카메라를 이용하여 비산현상을 관찰하였다. 본 연구로부터 얻어진 결과는 공기흡입식 추진기관에서 돔포트커버 설계의 기초 자료로 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

잠수함 마스트 커버의 구조해석 및 3D 프린팅 (3D Printing and Structure Anlaysis of the Submarine Mast Cover)

  • In this study, the mast cover of submarine was reverse engineered and structural analysis was performed. In order to print with the 3D printer, the modeling was reduced to 1/5 size by applying geometric similarity. From the structural analysis results, it was found that the maximum value of equivalent stress generated in the mast cover was 180.9 MPa. This stress value occurs on the inner surface in the major axis. As a result of applying the load condition at a diving depth of 600 m, the mast cover is in a completely elastic state. The 1/5 size model printed on FDM 3D printer with PLA filament was the same as the reverse engineered modeling and it was printed in a perfect shape with no apparent defects. The 1/5 size model printed on PBF 3D printer with SUS316L powder was perfectly manufactured with no apparent defects.

커버곡 검색 정확도 향상을 위한 적합도 기반 크로마그램 쌍별 유사도 (A relevance-based pairwise chromagram similarity for improving cover song retrieval accuracy)

  • 음악 유사도 계산은 음악 검색 서비스 구현에서 중요한 구성 요소 중 하나이다. 본 논문은 커버곡 검색 성능을 제고하기 위해서, 크로마그램 벡터 별로 커버곡 검색 적합도를 구하여 음악 유사도 계산 시 가중치로 활용한다. 커버곡 검색 적합도는 확률 적합도 모델을 이용하여 구한다. 커버곡 검색에 도움이 될 수 있는 분별도가 높은 벡터에 높은 가중치를 부여하고, 흔하게 존재하여 분별도가 떨어지는 벡터에 낮은 가중치를 부여하는 방식으로 음악 유사도 함수를 유도한다. 두 가지 커버곡 실험 데이터셋에서 성능 비교를 수행하여 제안한 음악 유사도 함수가 커버곡 검색 성능을 개선시킬 수 있음을 보였다.

Modeling of Solar Radiation Using Silicon Solar Module

  • Purpose: Short-circuit current of a solar module that is widely used as a power source for wireless environmental sensors is proportional to solar radiation although there are a lot of factors affecting the short-circuit current. The objective of this study is to develop a model for estimating solar radiation for using the solar module as a power source and an irradiance sensor. Methods: An experiment system collected data on the short-circuit current and environmental factors (ambient temperature, cloud cover and solar radiation) during 65 days. Based on these data, two linear regression models and a non-linear regression model were developed and evaluated. Results: The best model was a linear regression model with short-circuit current, angle of incidence and cloud cover and its overall RMSE(Root Means Square Error) was 66.671 $W/m^2$. The other linear model (RMSE 69.038 $W/m^2$) was also acceptable when the cloud cover data is not available.

FRAGSTATS 모델을 이용한 갑천 유역의 불투수면 변화에 따른 경관 구조 분석 (Analysis of Landscape Structure on the Impervious Cover of the Gap-Stream Watershed using FRAGSTATS)

  • An impervious cover in the watershed management has been used as effective indicators. It is a very useful barometer to measure the impacts of watershed development on aquatic systems. Hence, it is necessary to survey the impervious cover of a watershed and to develop an impervious cover model (ICM) for supporting best management practices. The main objectives of this study were to investigate the spatial patterns of the impervious cover, to calculate landscape indices using FRAGSTATS, and to develop an ICM in the Gap-stream watershed and its six sub-watersheds. The results showed that the impervious cover of the Gap-stream watershed increased from 4.9 % in 1975 to more than 11.2 % in 2000, the number of impervious cover fragments increased from 662 to 3,578, and the landscape shape index increased from 27.0796 to 91.1982. Fragmentation was severe within the Yudeungcheon downstream and the Gapcheon downstream of six sub-watersheds. This paper presented the results derived landscape indices to define landscape patterns and structure for the Gap-stream watershed. Our results indicate that altered land use might be influenced changes in landscape structure.

Numerical modeling of concrete cover cracking due to steel reinforcing bars corrosion

  • Concrete cover cracking due to the corrosion of steel reinforcing bars is one of the main causes of deterioration in Reinforced Concrete (RC) structures. The oxidation level of the bars causes varying levels of expansion. The rebar expansions could lead to through-thickness cracking of the concrete cover, where depending on the cracking characteristics, the service life of the structures would be affected. In this paper, the effect of geometrical and material parameters, i.e., concrete cover thickness, reinforcing bar diameter, and concrete tensile strength, on the required pressure for concrete cover cracking due to corrosion has been investigated through detailed numerical simulations. ABAQUS finite element software is employed as a modeling platform where the concrete cracking is simulated by means of eXtended Finite Element Method (XFEM). The accuracy of the numerical simulations is verified by comparing the numerical results with experimental data obtained from the literature. Using a previously proposed empirical equation and the numerical model, the time from corrosion initiation to the cover cracking is predicted and then compared to the respective experimental data. Finally, a parametric study is undertaken to determine the optimum ratio of the rebar diameter to the reinforcing bars spacing in order to avoid concrete cover delamination.
