  • Random 지반운동에 대한 면진수조구조물 응답의 추계학적 해석방법을 연구하였다. 유연한 벽체와 내부유체간의 유체구조물 상호작용은 유체운동의 유한요소 모델링에 의하여 얻어지는 부가질량행렬 형태로 고려되었다. 정상(定常)(Stationary)지반운동으로는 수정된 Clough-Penzien Spectral Model이 사용되었으며, 비정상(非定常)(Nonstationary)지반운동으로는 상기모델에 포락함수를 적용한 모델을 사용하였다. 운동을 지배하는 Lyapunov Covariance Matrix 미분방정식의 해를 구하여 두 종류 면진시스템의 정상응답 및 비정상응답을 해석하였다.

Analysis of the Relationship between CSR Activity and Purchase Motivation

  • Companies have developed a keen interest in bolstering their CSR activities. Especially in Japan, CSR is strongly associated with social contribution and $m{\acute{e}}c{\acute{e}}nat$ activities. On the other hand, the primary purpose of companies is to provide their products and services to consumers and thereby return value to their shareholders through sales and profits. It is, however, difficult to estimate directly the relationship between CSR and sales/profits. This study focuses particularly on CSR activities related to environmental and consumer issues and community involvement and development. It is also analyzed the relationship between the degree of CSR empathy and product purchase motivation. For accomplishment the purpose, a questionnaire is designed that elicits the respondent's degree of purchase intention and empathy toward CSR activities supported through sales. The object industry for questionnaires is TV maker. For results of the questionnaire, a covariance structure analysis is conducted to understand potential relationships among CSR activities, sales, and disposable budget. Through this study, it is able to clear the relationship between CSR activities and sales/profits. It is one of the advice to future prospect, strategy and CSR concept for the companies.

  • In cancer microarray experiments, the experimenter or patient which is nested in each experimenter often shows quite heterogeneous error variability, which should be estimated for identifying a source of variation. Our study describes a Bayesian method which utilizes clinical information for identifying a set of DE genes for the class of subtypes as well as assesses and examines the experimenter effect and patient effect which is nested in each experimenter as a source of variation. We propose a Bayesian multilevel mixed effect model based on analysis of covariance (ANACOVA). The Bayesian multilevel mixed effect model is a combination of the multilevel mixed effect model and the Bayesian hierarchical model, which provides a flexible way of defining a suitable correlation structure among genes.

Singular Value Decomposition Approach to Observability Analysis of GPS/INS

  • Singular value decomposition (SDV) approach is applied to the observability analysis of GPS/INS in this paper. A measure of observability for a subspace is introduced. It indicates the minimum size of perturbation in the information matrix that makes the subspace unobservable. It is shown that the measure has direct connections with observability of systems, error covariance, and singular structure of the information matrix. The observability measure given in this paper is applicable to the multi-input/multi-output time-varying systems. An example on the observability analysis of GPS/INS is given. The measure of observability is confirmed to be less sensitive to system model perturbation. It is also shown that the estimation error for the vertical component of gyro bias can be considered unobservable for small initial error covariance for a constant velocity horizontal motion.

소방공무원의 직무스트레스, 사회심리적 요인 및 수면의 질이 피로수준에 미치는 영향에 대한 공분산 구조분석 (Covariance Structure Analysis on the Impact of Job Stress, Psychological Factors and Sleep Quality on Fatigue Symptoms among Fire Fighters)

  • 본 연구는 공분산구조분석을 이용하여 소방공무원의 직무스트레스, 사회심리적 요인(A형 행동유형, 자기존중감, 통제신념) 및 수면의 질이 피로수준에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 공분산 구조분석 결과, 피로수준에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요소는 직무스트레스 요인에 이어, 사회심리적 요인, 수면의 질 순서로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 소방공무원의 피로수준이 직무스트레스, 사회심리적 요인, 수면의 질과의 인과관계가 성립됨을 시사한다. 따라서 소방공무원의 피로수준 감소를 위한 근무환경의 개선뿐만 아니라 제도적인 뒷받침이 필요하리라 생각된다.

핵심자기평가(CSE)와 일-가족 지원, 직장만족 그리고 이직의도의 관계 연구 (A study on the Relationships of Core-Self Evaluation, Work-Family Facilitation, Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 외식업계의 비정규직 직원을 대상으로 핵심자기평가, 일-가족 지원, 직장만족 그리고 이직의도의 관계를 분석함으로써 직원의 이직을 줄이기 위한 방안을 모색하고 추후 이와 관련된 연구의 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구의 가설을 검증하기 위하여 AMOS 4.0과 SPSS 10.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하였으며, 분석 방법은 신뢰도분석(reliability analysis), 빈도분석(frequency analysis), 확인적 요인분석(confirmatory factor analysis), 상관관계 분석(correlation analysis) 그리고 공분산 구조분석(covariance structure analysis)을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 핵심자기평가는 일-가족 방향 지원과 가족-일 방향 지원 모두에 긍정적인 영향이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 일-가족 지원과 직장만족의 관계에 있어서는 가족-일 방향 지원만이 직장만족에 긍정적인 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 직장만족은 직원의 이직을 줄이는 것에 효과가 있는 것으로 규명되었다.

Time-history analysis based optimal design of space trusses: the CMA evolution strategy approach using GRNN and WA

  • In recent years, the need for optimal design of structures under time-history loading aroused great attention in researchers. The main problem in this field is the extremely high computational demand of time-history analyses, which may convert the solution algorithm to an illogical one. In this paper, a new framework is developed to solve the size optimization problem of steel truss structures subjected to ground motions. In order to solve this problem, the covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy algorithm is employed for the optimization procedure, while a generalized regression neural network is utilized as a meta-model for fitness approximation. Moreover, the computational cost of time-history analysis is decreased through a wavelet analysis. Capability and efficiency of the proposed framework is investigated via two design examples, comprising of a tower truss and a footbridge truss.

이태리 레스토랑 종사자들의 리더십 유형에 관한 연구 (Research on the Leadership Types in Italian Restaurants)

  • Purpose - This study analyzes the effects of types of leadership on the employees of Italian restaurants, its efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior, utilizing a causal assessment model. In this study, independent variables such as the type of leadership perceived in the manager or chef by an Italian restaurant's employees, and its efficacy were parameters, and the organizational citizenship behavior and organizational effectiveness were the variables representing the results in the hypothesis. The study aimed to draw implications by verifying the leadership via efficacy and the impact on organizational citizenship behavior of Italian restaurants. Research design, data, methodology - For the purpose of this analysis, specific questionnaire items were configured according to the theory and efficacy of the study. From a questionnaire used in organizational citizenship behavior comprising 22 questions, six were modified to suit the research purpose of this study. The configured questionnaire comprised 5 parts and 40 items. A Likert (Likert) 5-point scale was utilized to measure responses to the questionnaire items from the employees of an Italian restaurant in Seoul who participated in the survey. For data collection, 400 questionnaires were distributed, and 344 collected. Factor analysis and reliability verification were conducted using SPSS18.0 and AMOS18.0. A covariance structure analysis was conducted to test the research hypotheses. Results - Based on the results of the analyses, the summary and suggested implications of the research are as follows: The covariance structure analysis used to analyze the kind of effect transformational and transactional leadership styles in Italian restaurant employees had on self-efficacy, group-efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior, indicated that among the characteristics of transformational leadership (such as, idealized influence, inspirational motivation, individual consideration, and intellectual stimulation), idealized influence and individual consideration had a positive influence on self-efficacy. Idealized influence, individual consideration, conditional reward, and management by exception also positively influenced self-efficacy and altruistic and conscientious behavior (organizational citizenship behavior). Conclusions - Results suggest that with regard to self-efficacy and group efficacy, managers in different departments and chefs should provide team members with a vision for the future, increase their confidence in their abilities, and build their trust in the organization. By evaluating employee performance and experiences, management can demonstrate leadership and encourage organizational citizenship behavior through enjoyable, voluntary participation. Transformational and transactional leadership is effective in group processes that include social-exchange relationships, self-efficacy and group efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior. However, as this research study utilizes only self-reported data, it has several limitations, such as a vulnerability of errors caused by the various experiment types. A significant limitation of this study is the lack of potential for the duplication of results. The covariance structure analysis, however, provides complementation to limit the impact of errors from self-reporting studies. A future study can extend this research by utilizing different data collection methods.

  • 본 논문은 확장된 Huygens-Fresnel원리를 이용하여 섭동대기 공간을 통하여 진행하는 스팩클 전파에서 수신된 강도를 통계적으로 해석하였다. 그 결과 이러한 수식들은 파구조 함수뿐만 아니라 log-amplitude 코바리안스를 포함하고, 정규화 바리언스가 섭동세기에 의존하여 1 이상이 되는 것을 알았다.

  • This Study intends to analysis what 3 factors, which are indices of Capital, Labor and Distribution, really affect to Value-Added Productivity through Statistical Analysis. For this, We selected 12 indices of Value-Added from the edition of 'Annual report of Korean companies' published in 'Korea Investors Service., Inc', especially in parts of Chemicals and Chemical products of total 85 companies. Using this data, Multivariate Statistical Analysis such as Principal Component Analysis, Factor Analysis, Covariance Structure Analysis is taken for modeling the effect of 3 factor(Labor Productivity, Capital Productivity and the Index of Distribution) on Value-Added Productivity.
