Recently, the renewable energy resources play an important role as an energy resources of future due to an environmental pollution and lack of resources and so on. The development and diffusion of information systems related to renewable energy resources have been driven actively abroad. However, at domestic an efficient history management for renewable energy resource data and web retrieve service are not provided. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a history data management system for the renewable energy resources, which stores and manages vast history information of renewable energy resource data systematically. This system collects renewable energy resource data in the outside observation system and stores them in the history database. The stored Information is retrieved through the history query process and can be provided in various forms - table, graph, chart and counter line, etc. - on the internet. Especially, the proposed system manages the history data in real-time so the latest information is always provided to the users through the web interface.

We investigated the electrochemical properties for Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films mixed with fatty acid (8A5H) and phospholipid (DLPE, DMPC, and DPPA). LB films of 8A5H monolayer and 8A5H-phospholipid mixture were deposited using the Langmuir-Blodgett method on the indium tin oxide(ITO) glass. The electrochemical properties measured using cyclic voltammetry with three-electrode system, an Ag/AgCl reference electrode, a platinum wire counter electrode and LB film-coated ITO working electrode at various concentrations(0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 mol/L) of $NaClO_4$ solution. A measuring range was reduced from initial potential to -1350 mV, continuously oxidized to 1650 mV and measured to the initial point. The scan rate was 50, 100, 150 and 200 mV/s, respectively. As a result, LB films of fatty acid and phospholipid (8A5H/DLPE and DPPA) appeared irreversible process were caused by only the reduction current from the cyclic voltammogram and LB film of 8A5H-DMPC mixture was found to be caused by a reversible oxidation-reduction process.
The transport of selected salts of sulphuric acid (cobalt, copper, iron(II), manganese, nickel and zinc sulphate) through an anion-exchange membrane Neosepta-AFN was investigated in a counter-current continuous dialyzer at various salt concentrations and volumetric liquid flow rates. The basic transport characteristics - the rejection coefficient of salt and the permeability of the membrane - were calculated from measurements at steady state. The salt concentration in model mixtures was changed in the limits from 0.1 to 1.0 kmol $m^{-3}$ and the volumetric liquid flow rate of the inlet streams was in the limits from $8{\times}10^{-9}$ to $24{\times}10^{-9}m^3\;s^{-1}$. Under the experimental conditions given, the rejection coefficient of salts tested was in the range from 65% to 94%. The lowest values were obtained for iron(II) sulphate, while the highest for copper sulphate. The maximum rejection of salt was reached at the highest volumetric liquid flow rate and the highest salt concentration in the feed. The permeability ($P_A$) of the Neosepta-AFN membrane for the individual salts was in the range from $0.49{\times}10^{-7}m\;s^{-1}$ to $1.8{\times}10^{-7}m\;s^{-1}$ and it can be described by the following series: $P_{FeSO_4}$ < $P_{NiSO_4}$ < $P_{ZnSO_4}$ < $P_{CoSO_4}$ < $P_{MnSO_4}$ < $P_{CuSO_4}$. The permeability of the membrane was strongly affected by the salt concentration in the feed - it decreased with an increasing salt concentration.
A simple three-dimensional cubic model is applied to the formation of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass in Summer. We studied how the tidal mixing and the Kuroshio Water Mass affect the formation of the Yellow Sea cold Water. The tidal mixing effect is parameterized into the vertical diffusion coefficient because of the technical difficulties in the numerical model In this study, the thermal front along the coast could be formed only by the tidal mixing effect. However, the southern front of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass has to consider the warm Kuroshio water. the resultant shows the opposite temperature distribution in upper layer and lower layer. the center of the model is warmer in the upper layer and colder in the lower layer than the coast. The resultant circulation pattern is also reverse, clockwise circulation in the upper layer and counter-clockwise circulation in the lower layer.
In this study, a ceramic membrane was prepared by CVD. Tube type alpha alumina support was used for substrate and added the Ga salt in intermediate layer. Synthesized method was counter diffusion CVD method at $650^{\circ}C$ with tetramethylorthosilane (TMOS). Gas permeation was measured at $600^{\circ}C$ using single-component $H_2$, $N_2$, $CO_2$ and $CH_4$. During the steam treatment, $H_2/N_2$ permselectivity of non-Ga silica membrane was decreased 926 to 829 at $600^{\circ}C$. On the other hand $H_2/N_2$ permselectivity of added Ga silica membrane was stable 910 to 904 at $600^{\circ}C$. These results show that the metal-doped membranes improved steam stability for gas separation.

In this work, the current-voltage curves for stainless steel in the ethanolamine solution containing alkyl group were measured using the conventional three electrodes of cyclic voltammetry. Stainless steel as working electrode, Ag/AgCl electrode as reference electrode and Pt wire as counter electrode were used respectively. As a result, the C-V characteristics of stainless steel were to be for an irreversible process due to the oxidation current from cyclic voltammogram, using N-ethylethanolamine and N,N-dimethylethanolamine solutions. Effective diffusivity of corrosion inhibitors was decreased with increasing concentration. It was found from SEM images of the metal that the electrolyte (specific name ?)(0.5 N) as corrosion inhibitor was added into a N, N-diethylethanolamine solution ($1.0{\times}10^{-3}M$) containing copper and nickel, the corrosion inhibiting effect was enhanced.
A highly purified $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ from the rectal gland of Squalus acanthias and from the electric organ of Electrophorus electricus has been used to raise antibodies in rabbits. The 97,000 dalton catalytic subunit and glycoprotein derived from the rectal gland of spiny shark were also used as antigens. The two $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ holoenzymes and the two shark subunits were antigenic. In Ouchterlony double diffusion experiments, these antibodies formed precipitation bands with their antigens. Antibodies prepared against the two subunits of shark holoenzyme also formed precipitation bands with their antigens and shark holoenzyme, but not with eel holoenzyme. These observations are in good agreement with inhibitory effect of these antibodies on the catalytic activity of $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ both from the shark and the eel, since there is very little cross-reaction between the shark anticatalytic subunit antibodies and the eel holoenzyme. The maximum antibodies titer of the anticatalytic subunit antibodies is found to be 6 weeks after the initial single exposure to this antigen. Multiple injections of the antigen increased the antibody titer. However, the time required to produce the maximum antibody titer was approximately the same. These antibodies also inhibit catalytic activity of $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ vesicles reconstituted by a slow dialysis of cholate after solubilization of the enzyme in a presonicated mixture of cholate and phospholipid. In these reconstituted $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ vesicles, effects of these antibodies on the fluxes of $Na^+$, $Rb^+$, and $K^+$ were investigated. Control or preimmune serum had no effect on the influx of $^{22}Na^+$ or the efflux of $^{86}Rb^+$. Immunized sera against the shark $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ holoenzyme, its glycoprotein or catalytic subunit did inhibit the influx of $^{22}Na^+$ and the efflux of $^{86}Rb^+$. It was also demonstrated that these antibodies inhibit the coupled counter-transport of $Na^+$ and $K^+$ as studied by means of dual labeling experiments. However, this inhibitory effect of the antibodies on transport of ions in the $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ vesicles is manifested only on the portion of energy and temperature dependent alkali metal fluxes, not on the portion of ATP and ouabain insensitive ion movement. Simultaneous determination of effects of the antibodies on ion fluxes and vesicular catalytic activity indicates that an inhibition of active ion transport in reconstituted $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ vesicles appears to be due to the inhibitory action of the antibodies on the enzymatic activity of $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ molecules incorporated in the vesicles. These findings that the inhibitory effects of the antibodies specific to $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ or to its subunits on ATP and temperature sensitive monovalent cation transport in parallel with the inhibitory effect of vesicular catalytic activity by these antibodies provide direct evidence that $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ is the molecular machinery of active cation transport in this reconstituted $(Na^+,\;K^+)-ATPase$ vesicular system.

Microstructural changes during tempering at the temperature range of $300^{\circ}C{\sim}700^{\circ}C$ for the nitrogen-permeated STS 410 and 410L martensitic stainless steels has been investigated. After nitrogen permeation at temperature between 1050 and $1150^{\circ}C$, the surface layer appeared fine $Cr_2N$ of square and rod types in the martensite matrices. Hardness of the nitrogen-permeated surface layer represented 680Hv and 625Hv, respectively, for 410 and 410L steels. It is considered that the fine homogeneously dispersive effect of precipitates by nitrogen caused the increased hardness. Due to the counter current effect of carbon from interior to surface during nitrogen diffusion from surface to interior, the 0.1%C alloyed 410 steel showed the low nitrogen content of 0.025% compared with 0.045% of 410L steel at the distance of $100{\mu}m$ from the surface. Tempering of nitrogen-alloyed 410 and 410L showed the maximum hardness at $450^{\circ}C$. This maximum hardness was considered to be the secondary hardening effect of very fine carbide and nitride. The decrease in hardness at $700^{\circ}C$ was the softening effect of the matrix due to the precipitation of many needle-shaped $Cr_2N$ for 410 steel and the precipitation of coarse nitride of $Cr_2N$ in line with the spherical precipitates with directionality for 410L steel. For 410 steel, the corrosion resistance of nitrogen permeated surface in the solution of 1 N $H_2SO_4$ were nearly unchanged, however the superior corrosion resistance was obtained for nitrogen permeated 410L steel compared to the solution annealed condition.
With the expansion of the automobile market, the demand for Nd as an essential rare earth material for automobile motors is rapidly increasing. Research on the calcio-thermic reduction process between Nd2O3 and calcium-based alloys has been extensively studied in order to manufacture Nd. In this study, Ca-Cu, as a reducing for Nd2O3, was prepared by electrolysis in CaCl2 molten salt. Cu wire and graphite were employed as a working electrode and a counter electrode for electrolysis reaction, respectively. The reference electrode was manufactured by putting Ag wire in a mixture of AgCl and CaCl2 at a ratio of 1:99 mol%. The cyclic voltammetry results showed that the deposition of Ca2+ on the surface of working electrode was observed from a potential of -1.8 V, and the reduction potential of Ca2+ decreased as the reaction temperature increased. The diffusion coefficient of Ca2+ calculated by the chronoamperometry experiment was found to be 5.4(±6.8)×10-6 cm2/s. In addition, Ca-Cu liquid alloy was prepared by applying a constant potential to Cu electrodes. The element ratio of Ca-Cu alloy formed by applying a potential of -2.0 V was found to Ca:Cu=1:4.
The most obvious and easily recognizable sources of potential water pollution are point sources such as domestic and industrial wastes. But recently, the potential effects of nonpoint sources on water quality have been increased apparently. In order to evaluate the characteristics and the effects of nonpoint sources on water quality, this study was performed in Suyeong Bay from May, 1992 to July, 1992. The depth-averaged 2-dimensional numerical model, which consists of the hydrodynamic model and the diffusion model was applied to simulate the water quality in Suyeong Bay. When flowrate was $65.736m^3/s,$ the concentration of pollutants (COD, TSS and VSS) at Oncheon stream (Sebeong bridge) during second flush were very high as much as 121.4mg/l of COD, 1148.0mg/l of TSS and 262.0mg/1 of VSS. When flowrate was 4.686m^3/s, the concentration of pollutants $(TIN,\;NH_4\;^+-\;N,\;NO_2\;^--N\;and\;PO_4\;^{3-}-P)$ during the first flush were very high as much as 20.306mg/1 of TIN, 14.154mg/1 of $NH_4\;^+-N$, 9.571mg/l of $NO_2\;^--N$ and l.785mg/l of $PO_2\;^{3-}-P$ As results of the hydrodynamic model simulation, the computed maximum velocity of tidal currents in Suyeong Bay was 0.3m/s and their direction was clockwise flow for ebb tide and counter clockwise flow for Hood tide. Four different methods were applied for the diffusion simulation in Suyeong Bay. There were the effects for the water quality due to point loads, annual nonpoint loads and nonpoint loads during the wet weather and the investigation period, respectively. The efforts of annual nonpoint loads and nonpoint loads during the wet weather seem to be slightly deteriorated in comparison with the effects of point loads. However, the bay was significantly polluted by the nonpoint loads during the investigation period. In this case, COD and SS concentrations ranged 2.0-30.0mg/l, 7.0- 200.0mg/l in ebb tide, respectively. From these results, it can be emphasized that the large amount of pollutants caused by nonpoint sources during the wet weather were discharged into the bay, and affected significantly to both the water quality and the marine ecosystem. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the loadings of nonpoint pollutants to plan wastewater treatment plant.
