SLIM AU(A plus U-shaped) composite beam was developed for reducing the story height in the residential buildings, and saving the cosrtuction cost of floor structures. Structural performance and economic feasibility of the composite beam have been sufficiently approved through the structural experiments and the analytical studies. However, the verification for fire safety is necessary for the practical application of the composite beam. The fire resistance tests with and without loading were performed for the fire safety verification, and the test results were summarized in this paper.

Developed from Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB), DMB+ changes the application focus fundamentally. The plus symbol "+" indicates that DMB+ is no longer for digital radio/videos, instead it works as a general data transmission technique. The merits of wireless transmission, broad coverage, high quality, information security and low building/maintenance cost make DMB+ suitable for a wide range of applications with numerous terminals and users, such as public information release, alarm and administration etc. The concept of DMB+ base station enables DMB+ to be used in building independent networks and for remote control and management, as well as for Industry 4.0. DMB+ will access into a new field that till now has been dominated by communication techniques, will open a huge commercial opportunity.

Many vehicle routing methods have been suggested, which minimize the routing distances of vehicles to reduce the total transportation cost. In describing a distribution network, we have stated that it is basically a system or a set of locations that, receive or store material plus the routes that connect these locations. Whether the network is spread over some geographic region or is whitin a single facility, the definition remains the same. Implicit in this definition, however, is that both the locations and the transportation between these locations must be considered in any decisions regarding the design of the operation of the overall network. The purpose of this paper is optimal layout using transportation quantity and distance in the total system operation. And we minimize the sum of load-carrier costs and spur costs in this flow network.

국내에 진출한 Carrefour, Wal-Mart, Tesco(home plus) 등 다국적화된 소매기업들을 통하여 주 2 휴일제 실시로 변화가 예상되는 그들의 점포운영방안을 실적을 분석해봄으로써 보다 효율적인 경영전략과 운영 방안을 모색해보고자 하였다. 국내 할인점의 포화기 진입단계에 들어선 시점에서 국내 진출 다국적 기업들은 국내 선두 기업과 비교하여 짧은 진출 역사에도 안정성과 수익성 측면, 활동성 부문에도 양호한 결과를 나타내고 있으며, 이들의 운영의 전략적 측면은 구매 부문의 EDLP와 운영부문에 EDLC가 선 순환되고 유통·물류정보시스템과 결합하면서 Low Cost Operation이 추진하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 다국적 소매기업들은 표준화와 현지화를 대립이 아닌 양립과 조화로 보면서 현지화 부문에서는 MD(VMD) 부문 개선과 고객서비스를 개선함으로써 국내 기업들의 강한 경쟁자로서 접근하고 있다고 판단된다. 일부 우려에 대한 다국적 기업의 실적 저조에 대한 판단은 그들의 경영전략과 현지화 단계에서의 차이를 감안하면 이른 판단으로 사려 되며, 이러한 다국적화 소매유통기업에 대한 운영방안에 대한 고찰은 다국적 소매기업 및 국내 소매업체들의 경쟁력 향상에도 기여할 것으로 본다.

The current study attempts to provide the field of knowledge management with theoretical grounds from the perspective of social network, resource dependency, and institutional theory. Social network theory considers that knowledge management plays a critical role in organizational innovation through the process of knowledge sharing/creation, communication systems, and a cooperative culture and trust, whereas resource dependency perceives knowledge management as contributing to cost reduction through the process of knowledge capture/storage, database systems, and reward/incentive systems. Plus, from the perspective of institutionalization, this study discusses that organizations can not benefit from knowledge management if it is adopted with the motive of isomorphic change. Finally, this study compares and integrates the three perspectives, and discusses the implications and limitations.

This paper investigates how the factor inputs of firms are affected by the expectation about land-price increase in the future. We develope a two-factor (land and labor) model, in which expectation about land-price increase plays a key role in determining the "optimal" input level of labor and land. Expecting capital gains from input of the land when land price increases, firms input land up to the point where the marginal productivity of land falls short of the marginal cost of purchasing the land, in order to maximize the "joint-profit". That is, firms have an incentive to use more land than they do when capital gains are not expected. We mean joint-profit by profit in the standard sense plus capital gains. Once the land is input "excessively", the productivity of labor increase and labor is also input more, since land and labor are assumed as complementary in production. This mechanism works in the opposite direction when land price decrease. This paper suggests that land price fluctuation is a major destabilizer of an economy.or destabilizer of an economy.

The NGAP and TRAINAIR PLUS programme goal is to improve the safety and efficiency of air transport through the establishment, maintenance and monitoring of high standards of training and competency of aviation personnel on a world-wide basis and in a cost-effective manner. According to the trend, the approval of training organization must be change. In this study, personnel training system and certification mechanism were studied.

The PID type controller has been widely used in industrial application doc to its simply control structure, ease of design and inexpensive cost. However control performance of the PID type controller suffers greatly from high uncertainty and nonlinearity of the system, large disturbances and so on. This paper presents a hybrid fuzzy logic proportional plus conventional integral derivative controller (Fuzzy P+ID). In comparison with a conventional PID controller, only one additional parameter has to be adjusted to tune the Fuzzy P+ID controller. In this case, the stability of a system remains unchanged after the PID controller is replaced by the Fuzzy P+ID controller without modifying the original controller parameters. Finally, the proposed hybrid Fuazy P+ID controller is applied to BLDC motor drive. Simulation results demonstrated that the control performance of the proposed controlled is better than that of the conventional controller.

The WRR scheduling algorithm is widely used in ATM networks due to its simplicity and the low cost of hardware implementation. It guarantees minimum cell rate according to the weight of each queue. The fairness is a important factor for ABR service. That is, Scheduling algorithm allocates network resources fairly to each VC. In this paper, we propose a scheduling algorithm for satisfying the two fairness criteria, MCR plus equal share and Maximum of MCR or Max-Min share, among the six criteria defined by ATM Forum TM 4.1 specification. The WRR, Nabeshima et al, and the proposed scheduling algorithms are compared with respect to fairness and convergence time throughout experimental simulation.

As buildings take on more advanced features, mechanical facilities of buildings are accounting for increasingly greater significance in building construction projects. However, mechanical facility designers are forced to be content with design service fees that do not properly compensate their excessive workload, with lowest-bid-first tendering practices compounding their economic woes. In relation to this, this Study aims to offer suggestions for better standards for compensation of design service for mechanical facilities of buildings, highlighting five key suggestions in consideration of relatively small size of work and unmatched long duration of work.
