  • Recently, research on automating game tests using artificial intelligence agents instead of humans is attracting attention. This paper aims to collect play data from human and artificial intelligence and analyze their similarity as a preliminary study for game balancing automation. At this time, constraints were added at the learning stage in order to create artificial intelligence that can play similar to humans. Play datas obtained 14 people and 60 artificial intelligence by playing Flippy bird games 10 times each. The collected datas compared and analyzed for movement trajectory, action position, and dead position using the cosine similarity method. As a result of the analysis, an artificial intelligence agent with a similarity of 0.9 or more with humans was found.

  • The national competency standards (NCS) is a systematize and standardize for skills required to perform their job. The NCS has developed a learning module with materialization and standardize by competence unit element, which is the unit of specific job competency. The existing curriculum is material to gab analysis for use in education training with competence unit element. The existing gab analysis has evaluated subjectively by experts. The gab analysis by experts bring up a subject subjective decision, accuracy lack, temporal and spatial inefficiency by psychological factor. This paper is proposed automated evaluation model for problem resolve of subjective evaluation. This paper use index term extraction, term frequency-inverse document frequency for feature value extraction, cosine similarity algorithm for gab analysis between existing curriculum and competence unit element. This paper was presented similarity mapping table between existing curriculum and competence unit element. The evaluation model in this paper should be complemented by an improved algorithm from the structural characteristics and speed.

  • It is very important to search for and obtain an example of a similar judgment in case of court judgment. The existing judge's document search uses a method of searching through key-words entered by the user. However, if it is necessary to input an accurate keyword and the keyword is unknown, it is impossible to search for the necessary document. In addition, the detected document may have different contents. In this paper, we want to improve the effectiveness of the method of vectorizing a document into a three-dimensional space, calculating cosine similarity, and searching close documents in order to search an accurate judge's example. Therefore, after analyzing the similarity of words used in the judge's example, a method is provided for extracting the mode and inserting it into the text of the text, thereby providing a method for improving the cosine similarity of the document to be retrieved. It is hoped that users will be able to provide a fast, accurate search trying to find an example of a tax-related judge through the proposed model.

  • With the rapid growth of K-POP, the dance content industry is spreading. With the recent increase in the spread of SNS, they also shoot and share their dance videos. However, it is not easy for dance beginners who are new to dancing to learn dance moves because it is difficult to receive objective feedback when dancing alone while watching videos. This paper describes a system that uses MediaPipe to compare choreography videos and dance videos of users and detect whether they are following the movement correctly. This study proposes a method of giving feedback based on Color Map to users by calculating the similarity of dance movements between user images taken with webcam or camera and choreography images using cosine similarity and COCO OKS. Through this system, objective feedback on users' dance movements can be visually received, and beginners are expected to be able to learn accurate dance movements.

  • In this work a Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT)-based feature dimensionality reduced approach for fingerprint matching is proposed. The DCT is applied on a small region around the core point of fingerprint image. The performance of our proposed method is evaluated on a small database of Bologna University and two large databases of FVC2000. A dimensionally reduced feature vector is formed using only approximately 19%, 7%, and 6% DCT coefficients for the three databases from Bologna University and FVC2000, respectively. We compared the results of our proposed method with the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) method, the rotated wavelet filters (RWFs) method, and a combination of DWT+RWF and DWT+(HL+LH) subbands of RWF. The proposed method reduces the false acceptance rate from approximately 18% to 4% on DB1 (Database of Bologna University), approximately 29% to 16% on DB2 (FVC2000), and approximately 26% to 17% on DB3 (FVC2000) over the DWT based feature extraction method.

  • In this paper, we study abstracting and identifying license file from a package to prevent unintentional intellectual property infringement because of lost/modified/confliction of license information when redistributing open source software. To invest character of the license files, we analyzed 322 licenses by n-gram and TF-IDF methods, and abstract license files from the packages. We identified license information with a similarity of the registered licenses by cosine measurement.

  • Recently, coordination task of similarity between national R&D programs is emphasized on view from the R&D investment efficiency. But the previous similarity search method like text-based similarity search which using keyword of R&D projects has reached the limit due to deviation of document's quality. For the solve the limitations of text-based similarity search using the keyword extraction, in this study, utilization of R&D project's technical classification will be discussed as a new similarity search method when analyzed of similarity between national R&D programs. To this end, extracts the Science and Technology Standard Classification of R & D projects which are collected when national R&D Survey & analysis, and creates peculiar vector model of each R&D programs. Verify a reliability of this study by calculate the cosine-based and Euclidean distance-based similarity and compare with calculated the text-based similarity.

  • It has been studied to reflect the number of co-rated items for solving data sparsity problem in collaborative filtering systems. A well-known method of Jaccard index allowed performance improvement, when combined with previous similarity measures. However, the degree of performance improvement when combined with existing similarity measures in various data environments are seldom analyzed, which is the objective of this study. Jaccard index as a sole similarity measure yielded much higher prediction quality than traditional measures and very high recommendation quality in a sparse dataset. In general, previous similarity measures combined with Jaccard index improved performance regardless of dataset characteristics. Especially, cosine similarity achieved the highest improvement in sparse datasets, while similarity of Mean Squared Difference degraded prediction quality in denser sets. Therefore, one needs to consider characteristics of data environment and similarity measures before combining Jaccard index for similarity use.

  • Historical data from comparable projects can serve as benchmarking data for an ongoing project's planning during the project scoping phase. As project owners typically store substantial amounts of data generated throughout project life cycles in digitized databases, they can capture appropriate data to support various project planning activities by accessing digital databases. One of the most important work tasks in this process is identifying one or more past projects comparable to a new project. The uniqueness and complexity of construction projects along with unorganized data, impede the reliable identification of comparable past projects. A project scope document provides the preliminary overview of a project in terms of the extent of the project and project requirements. However, narratives and free-formatted descriptions of project scopes are a significant and time-consuming barrier if a human needs to review them and determine similar projects. This study proposes an Artificial Intelligence-driven model for analyzing project scope descriptions and evaluating project similarity using natural language processing (NLP) techniques. The proposed algorithm can intelligently a) extract major work activities from unstructured descriptions held in a database and b) quantify similarities by considering the semantic features of texts representing work activities. The proposed model enhances historical comparable project identification by systematically analyzing project scopes.

  • An improved K-means document clustering method has been presented, where a concept vector is manipulated for each cluster on the basis of cosine similarity of text documents. The concept vectors are unit vectors that have been normalized on the n-dimensional sphere. Because the standard K-means method is sensitive to initial starting condition, our improvement focused on starting condition for estimating the modes of a distribution. The improved K-means clustering algorithm has been applied to a set of text documents, called Classic3, to test and prove efficiency and correctness of clustering result, and showed 7% improvements in its worst case.
