Accurately evaluating and predicting the performance of facilities is a key task in establishing a maintenance strategy for facilities. The importance of performance evaluation is becoming more pronounced, especially when the aging of facilities requires a huge budget. In this study, performance assessment models were developed for road and railway tunnels. Delphi analysis was performed to identify sub-elements necessary to evaluate the performance of a tunnel. The relative importance of the evaluation factors was derived from the AHP analysis. The correlation analysis was performed between each assessment factor and the final result to verify the significance of the model. For the correlation analysis, the survey data measured through precision safety diagnosis in tunnels in use was applied. The cost effectiveness analysis was also conducted according to the scenarios with different composition of performance factors in order to improve the practical applicability of the evaluation model developed in this study.
It is yet to be understood what controls the star formation activity in high-redshift galaxy clusters. One recently proposed mechanism is that the star formation activity in galaxy clusters are fed by gas and galaxies in large-scale structures surrounding them, which we call as "web feeding model". Using galaxies in the COSMOS2015 catalog, with mass completeness at log(M/M⦿)≥9.54 and reliable photometric redshift data (σΔz/(1+z) ≲ 0.01), we study the star formation activities of galaxy clusters and their surrounding environment to test the web feeding model. We first identify the overdense regions with number density exceeding the 4σ-level from photometric redshift data as galaxy clusters, and we find that they are well matched with clusters identified in the X-ray extended source catalog. Furthermore, we identify galaxy large scale structures, and will present the correlation or anti-correlation between quiescent galaxy fraction, an indicator of star-forming activity, and the prevalence of galaxy large scale structures.

In this study, an experimental study was performed to predict the two-phase frictional pressure drop of FC-72 in parallel micro-channels. The parallel micro-channels consist of 15 channels with depth 0.2 mm, width 0.45 mm and length 60 mm. And tests were performed in the ranges of mass fluxes from 152.2 to $584.2kg/m^2s$ and heat fluxes from 7.5 to $28.3kW/m^2$. The experimental data was compared and analyzed with existing correlations to predict the pressure drop. The existing methods to predict the pressure drop used the homogeneous model and the separated model. In this study, the new correlation was proposed by modified existing correlation using the separated model, and the new correlation predicted consequently with the experimental data within MAE of 9.6%.

This study is providing Modified DRASTIC Model to which lineament density and land use are added as additional factors using geographic infomation system(GIS). and then to evaluate groundwater contamination potential of Pyungtek-Gun area in Kyunggi-Do. In this study. the reason for using additional factors is because. in case of lineament density. when we consider that most of aquifer is bedrock aquifer in hydrogeologic environment of the Korea, lineament is very important to flow of groundwater and contamination material. and because land use can reflect indirectly impact of point or non_point source in study area. For statistical analysis. vector coverage per each factor is converted to grid layer and after each correlation coefficient between factors, covariance, variance. eigenvalue and eigenvector by principal component analysis of 3 direction. are calculated. correlation between factors is analyzed. Also after correlation coefficients between general DRASTIC layer and rated lineament density layer and between general DRASTIC layer and rated land use layer are calculated. final modified DRASTIC Model is constructed by using them with each weighting. when modified DRASTIC Model was compared with general DRASTIC Model, comtamination potential in modified DRASTIC Model is fairly detailed and consequently. vulnerable area which has high contamination potential could be presented concretly.
The characteristic of the beta wave among the EEG waves corresponds to the stress area of human perception. The over-bandwidth of the stress is extracted by analyzing the beta-wave correlation between the low-bandwidth and high-bandwidth. We present a KMeans clustering analysis model for unsupervised machine learning to construct an analytical model for analyzing and extracting the beta-wave correlation. The proposed model classifies the beta wave region into clusters of similar regions and identifies anomalous waveforms in the corresponding clustering category. The abnormal group of waveform clusters and the normal category leaving region are discriminated from the stress risk group. Using this model, it is possible to discriminate the degree of stress of the cognitive state through the EEG waveform, and it is possible to manage and apply the cognitive state of the individual.
This study provided a prediction model for solar energy production in Yeongam province, Jeollanam-do. The model was derived from the correlation between climate changes and solar power production in Yeongam province, Jeollanam-do, and presented a prediction of solar power generation through the regression analysis of 6 parameters related to weather and solar power generation. The data used in this study were the weather and photovoltaic production data from January in 2016 to December in 2019 provided by public data. Based on the data, the machine learning technique was used to analyzed the correlation between weather change and solar energy production and derived to the prediction model. The model showed that the photovoltaic production can be categorized by the three-stage production index and will be used as an important barometer in the agriculture activity and the use of photovoltaic electricity.
This study was conducted to examine the relationships between the methods used to determine the number of transferable embryos collected per flush and the estimated cumulative genetic improvements in the Japanese Holstein MOET breeding population. Cumulative genetic improvements were predicted by Monte Carlo simulation using three different determination methods (MODEL 1, MODEL 2, and MODEL 3), for calculating the number of embryos collected per flush. Moreover EBVs were estimated including or ignoring coefficients of inbreeding in MME. Inbreeding coefficients were also predicted. The number of transferable embryos was determined using normal, gamma, and Poisson distributions in MODEL 1, gamma and Poisson distributions in MODEL 2, and only the Poisson distribution in MODEL 3. The fitness of MODEL 2 in relation to field data from Hokkaido Japan was the best, and the results for MODEL3 indicated that this model is unsuitable for determining the number of transferable embryos. The largest cumulative genetic improvement (3.11) in the 10th generation was predicted by MODEL 3 and the smallest (2.83) by MODEL 2. Mean coefficients of correlation between the true and estimated breeding values were 0.738, 0.729, and 0.773 in MODELS 1, 2, and 3, respectively. It is suggested that the smallest genetic improvement in MODEL 2 resulted from the smallest correlation coefficient between the true and estimated breeding values. The differences in milk, fat, and protein yields between MODELS 2 and 3 were 182.0, 7.0, and 5.6 kg, respectively, in real units when each trait was independently selected. The inbreeding coefficient was the highest (0.374) in MODEL 2 and the lowest (0.357) in MODEL 3. The effects of different methods for determining the number of transferable embryos per flush on genetic improvements and inbreeding coefficients of the simulated populations were remarkable. The effects of including coefficients of inbreeding in MME, however, were unclear.

There are two kinds of models in two-phase pressured drop; homogeneous flow model and separated flow model. Many previous researchers have developed correlations for two-phase pressure drop in a microchannel. Most correlations were modified Lockhart and Martinelli's correlation, which was based on the separated flow model. In this study, experiments for adiabatic liquid water and nitrogen gas flow in rectangular microchannels were conducted to investigate two-phase pressure drop in the rectangular microchannels. Two-phase frictional pressure drop in the rectangular microchannels is highly related with flow regime. Homogeneous model with six two-phase viscosity models: $Owen^{(21)}$'s, $MacAdams^{(22)}$'s, Cicchitti et ${al.}^{(23)}$'s, Dukler et ${al.}^{(24)}$'s, Beattie and ${Whalley}^{(25)}$'s, Lin et ${al.}^{(26)}$'s models and six separated flow models: Lockhart and $Martinelli^{(27)}$'s, ${Chisholm}^{(31)}$'s, Zhang et ${al.,}^{(15)}$'s, Lee and ${Lee}^{(5)}$'s, Moriyama and ${Inue}^{(4)}$'s, Qu and $Mudawar^{(8)}$'s models were assessed with our experimental data. The best two-phase viscosity model is Beattie and Whalley's model. The best separated flow model is Qu and Mudawar's correlation. Flow regime dependency in both homogeneous and separated flow models was observed. Therefore, new flow pattern based correlations for both homogeneous and separated flow models were individually proposed.
The gelatinized model food system were prepared by combining moisture, starch and protein, and the textural properties of their gels of different temperatures and times of heating were investigated by the use of Instron Universal Testing Machine. The hardness, springiness, cohesiveness, gumminess and chewiness of model foods had a high correlation with solid content and the regression equations between the hardness of model foods and moisture content heated for 20min. at $80{\circ}C$ were as follows; $H(PS_4)=18.6405-3.8201M+0.1959M^2,\;H(P_1S_1)=244.7933-5.692M+0.0332M^2,\;H(P_4S)=693.0292-16.6884M+0.1005M^2$, The correlation coefficients were $0.996^{**},\;0.998^{**}\;and\;0.998^{**}$, respectively. Total correlations between textural parameters and temperature and heating times were different according to model foods. The correlation between textural parameters was proportional to protein foods, but the hardness and cohesiveness of starch foods showed the relationship of inverse proportion. Under low solid content, the parameters of model foods appeared to decrease as protein content increased. Under high solid content, the parameters of protein foods were higher than those of starch foods above some level of protein content. The regression equation between the hardness and protein content heated for 20min. at $80^{\circ}C$ was as follows; Hardness(20%)=5.6858-13.5670P+$9.7758P^2$ and the correlation coefficient was $0.95^{**}$.

Introduction: The aim of this study was to demonstrate that the simulation surgery on rapid prototype (RP) model, which is based on the 3-dimensional computed tomography (3D CT) data taken before surgery, has the same accuracy as traditional orthograthic surgery with an intermediate splint, using an optoelectronic tracking navigation system. Materials and Methods: Simulation surgery with the same treatment plan as the Le Fort I osteotomy on the patient was done on a RP model based on the 3D CT data of 12 patients who had undergone a Le Fort I osteotomy in the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Seoul National University Dental Hospital. The 12 distances between 4 points on the skull, such as both infraorbital foramen and both supraorbital foramen, and 3 points on maxilla, such as the contact point of both maxillary central incisors and mesiobuccal cuspal tip of both maxillary first molars, were tracked using an optoelectronic tracking navigation system. The distances before surgery were compared to evaluate the accuracy of the RP model and the distance changes of 3D CT image after surgery were compared with those of the RP model after simulation surgery. Results: A paired t-test revealed a significant difference between the distances in the 3D CT image and RP model before surgery.(P<0.0001) On the other hand, Pearson's correlation coefficient, 0.995, revealed a significant positive correlation between the distances.(P<0.0001) There was a significant difference between the change in the distance of the 3D CT image and RP model in before and after surgery.(P<0.05) The Pearson's correlation coefficient was 0.13844, indicating positive correlation.(P<0.1) Conclusion: Theses results suggest that the simulation surgery of a Le Fort I osteotomy using an optoelectronic tracking navigation system I s relatively accurate in comparing the pre-, and post-operative 3D CT data. Furthermore, the application of an optoelectronic tracking navigation system may be a predictable and efficient method in Le Fort I orthognathic surgery.
