경직형 양하지 뇌성마비 아동의 전방머리자세와 신체기능간의 상관관계 (Study on the Correlation Between Physical Function and Forward Head Posture in Spastic Diplegia)

  • Purpose: This study investigated the correlation between physical function and forward head posture in spastic diplegia. Methods: The subjects of this study were 10 spastic diplegia patients. We took pictures of the subjects' craniovertebral angle with a digital camera to determine the degree of forward head posture and then analyzed them using the NIH image J program. The physical function test used the TCMS, the BBT, and a spirometer. The data in this study were measured using SPSS version 23.0, and the statistical significance level α was 0.05. A Pearson correlation coefficient analysis was performed to identify the correlation between the degree of the subject's head forward position and physical function. Results: When we performed the BBT and spirometer tests, the subjects' forward head postures were not correlated (p < 0.05). However, with the TCMS, there was a strong correlation between the forward position of the head and balance, with balance decreasing as the head position increased (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Spastic diplegia patients with severe forward head posture showed problems with static balance, dynamic balance, and equilibrium reaction when sitting. Intervention on the right posture and preventive activities will be needed to improve the health of spastic diplegia patients and prevent future problems with physical function.

평판구조의 추계론적 유한요소해석 (Stochastic FE Analysis of Plate Structure)

  • 본 연구는 가중적분법을 이용한 추계론적 유한요소해석에 관한 것으로 구조계 내에 존재하는 재료상수와 기하학적 상수의 임의성을 해석에 고려하여 추계론적 해석을 수행하였으며 대상 구조로는 평판구조를 택하였다. 재료와 기하학적 해석인자의 임의성을 포함한 요소강성행렬의 유도를 위해서 임의장을 가장하였으며 임의장의 평균은 0이고 표준편차 값은 0.1을 사용하였다. 이러한 임의장의 특성은 auto-correlation 함수에 의해서 표현되었으며 이 함수는 반응변화도를 얻는 과정에 사용되었다. 본 연구에서는 평판의 두께에 대한 임의성을 고려하기 위해서 새로운 auto-correlation 함수가 유도되었다. 유도된 새로운 auto-correlation 함수는 재료탄성계수의 임의장 특성을 나타내는 기존의 함수와 임의장 분산 계수의 함수로 나타났다. 수치해석결과는 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교되었으며 상호 잘 일치하는 좋은 결과를 나타내었고 이들 결과는 제시된 이론적인 수렴치와도 잘 일치하였다. 평판두께에 대한 해석의 경우 역시 Lawrence의 결과는 물론 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션과 제시된 이론치와도 잘 일치하였다.

고등학생의 자아분화 정도 및 가족기능과 스트레스 수준에 대한 연구 (Self-differentiation, Family Function and Stress Level in High School Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between high school students' self-differentiation, family function and their level of stress. Method: A questionnaire which consisted of questions on general characteristics of the high school students, and 36 questions on self-differentiation, 17 questions on family function, and 37 questions on level of stress was used to collect the data. Participants were 201 second grade high school students from Bucheon City. Descriptive statistics, T-test, ANOVA, correlation and multiple regression were used with SPSS 10.0 to analyze the data. Results: The mean scores for self-differentiation, family function, and levels of stress were 3.27, 3.39, and 2.61 respectively. The relationship between self-differentiation and level of stress revealed a significant negative correlation. The relationship between self-differentiation and family function showed a significant positive correlation. The relationship between family function and stress level showed a significant negative correlation. Conclusion: The results of the study show that variation in level of stress was related to family regression, recognition/emotional function, family projection, role recognition and emotional support and emotional cutoff which together explained 40.9% of the variance in level of stress.

해양 위성 통신을 위한 BOC(n,n) 신호의 새로운 상관함수 (A Novel BOC(n,n) Correlation Function for Maritime Satellite Communications)

  • Binary offset carrier는 (BOC) 위성 통신 및 위성 항법 시스템 시스템에서 사용될 새로운 변조 방식으로 크게 주목 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 sine 위상 BOC 신호를 위한 새로운 상관함수를 제안한다. 구체적으로는 BOC 신호 내의 하나의 부반송파 펄스를 다수의 구형 펄스의 합으로 해석하고, 그에 따른 다수의 부분상관함수들을 생성한다. 이후 생성한 부분상관함수들을 새롭게 결합함으로써 주변 첨두가 없는 새로운 상관함수를 생성한다. 모의실험을 통해 제안한 상관함수를 이용하는 경우, 기존의 상관함수들을 이용하는 경우들에 비해 더욱 향상된 코드 추적 성능을 가지는 것을 보인다.

  • Objectives : This study was aimed to find out correlation of relation between cardiopulmonary function and body fat. Methods : We studied tendency of change of cardiopulmonary function and body fat for medication of Ephedrae Herba capsule by ergogenic aids with circuit training. We got the results for Exercise stress test and Segmental Bioelectrical Impedence Analysis. Results : 1. Sample Group of Ephedrae Herba medication and Circuit training generally showed the insignificant improvement of Body composition, but Control Group of Placebo and Circuit training significantly(p<.05) showed significant improvement of Body composition. 2. Sample Group of Ephedrae Herba medication and Circuit training generally showed the significant improvement of cardio-pulmonary function. Control Group of Placebo and Circuit training showed insignificant elevation of Cardiopulmonary function. 3. In the case of Sample Group, there wasn't closely correlation relationship of improvement of cardiopulmonary function and body composition, but in the case of Control Group, there was closely correlation relationship of improvement of cardiopulmonary function and body composition. Conclusions : It might be recognized that cardiopulmonary function has the correlation of body composition, and Ephedrae Herba might help the reduction of Body Fat by elevation of Cardiopulmonary function for ergogenic aids and it might be needed further study In various viewpoints.

Correlation Analysis between Cognitive function and Praxis tasks in the Elderly

  • The purpose of this study was to identify differences in cognitive function according to the presence or absence of apraxia and the tasks most relevant to the cognitive function among the various types of tasks in the apraxia test. The subjects were 42 community residents who participated in a cognitive rehabilitation program related to dementia in a Chungbuk area. MMSE-K and BCoS(Birmingham Cognitive Screen) apraxia test were administered to all subjects. The apraxia test includes three types of tasks, gesture production tasks that make meaningful movements according to verbal instructions, gesture recognition tasks that display behavior after make sense of meanings, and meaningless imitation task. Apraxia group(n=30, MMSE-K mean score: 25) showed lower cognitive function than group without apraxia(n=12, MMSE-K mean score: 28). All tasks in the apraxia test showed a significant correlation with cognitive function, but the meaningless imitation task had a negligible correlation. The apraxia test is a good way to assess cognitive function, and it may be more effective to use meaningful behavior to replace cognitive testing.

회전불변 패턴인식을 위한 WCHF-FSJTC (Wavelet circular harmonic function frequency selective joint transform correlator for rotation invariant pattern recognition)

  • The WCHF-FSJTC (wavelet circular harmonic function frequency selective joint transform correlator) using th wavelet transformed CHF as the reference image in FSJTC is proposed for rotation invariant pattern recognition. Since the wavelet transform has the property of feature extraction, the proposed system can have the better DC (discrimination cpability) and the higher SNR(signal to noise ratio) compared with the conventional CHF-CJTC(circular harmonic function conventional joint transform correlator). And since the structure of the proposed system is FSJTC which can eliminate auto-correlation and cross-correlation between input images, it can eliminate false alarm caused by the overlapping among correlation peaks. The used wavelet functio is the morlet function, which is proper for the reference image used in this paper. the optimal dialation parameter and oscillation frequency of the wavelet function are also achieved with varying the parameters of the wavelet function. The computer simulation shows that the proposed system has the best performance when the dilation parameter is 0.8 and the oscillation frequency is 0.48.

  • Radar signal simulation is increasingly gaining in importance according as modem radar systems are more complex. Although computer performance has been advanced, it is difficult to implement the real-time simulation because the detailed model for the radar is necessary to get the desired accuracy. In order to achieve real time operation, we propose radar signal generation technique using ambiguity function, Instead of wellknown correlation method. The ambiguity function is the mathematical modeling of the signal processing procedure which is a simulation section to require the most computations.

Correlation of single leg vertical jump, single leg hop, and single leg squat distances in healthy persons

  • Objective: To determine the correlation among three functional tests: single leg vertical jump (SLVJ), single leg hop for distance (SLHD), and single leg squat (SLSQ). Design: Cross sectional study. Methods: Twenty healthy men (n=10) and women (n=10) with no history of lower extremity dysfucntion participated in this study and performed in university research laboratory. The procedures consisted of a general warm-up, a task-specific warm-up, actual testing, and a cool down. All participants performed the three tests in random order. Each test was performed three times for the dominant and non-dominant lower extremity (LE). SLVJ, SLHD, SLSQ were measured using a standard tape measure. Results: Statistically significant difference was presented between dominant LE and non-dominant LE in each function test (p<0.05). The strongest correlation was between SLVJ and SLSQ, 0.939 and 0.883 for dominant and non-dominant LE, respectively (p<0.05). The weakest correlation was between SLVJ and SLHD, 0.713 for dominant (p<0.05) and between SLSQ and SLHD, 0.739 for non-dominant (p<0.05). Conclusions: There is a strong correlation between SLVJ and SLSQ, suggesting that each test measures similar constructs of function and can be substitutive, while weak correlation between SLSQ and SLHD suggest these two tests do not measure the same functional components and could be paired as outcome measures for the clinical assessment of LE function. It will provide physical therapist with scientific evidence for effective test combination of LE function assessment in clinical practice.

Molecular Dynamics Simulation Studies of a Model System for Liquid Crystals Consisting of Rodlike Molecules in NPT Ensemble

  • Molecular dynamics simulation studies for thermotropic liquid crystalline systems conposed of rodlike molecules with 6 Lennard-Jones interaction sites wre performed in NPT ensemble. Within the range of temperature studied, the system exhibited isotropic and smectic phase. For the characterization of the smectic phase, we examined the structure of the liquid crystalline phase via the radial distribution function, its longitudinal and transverse components to the director, and other orientational correlation function, its longitudinal and transverse components to the director, and other orientational correlation functions. In the smectic A phase, our results showed a large anisotropy in translational motion (i.e.,$D_⊥ >> D_∥$), and the decay of the collective orientational correlation function of rank two became slower than that of the single particle orientational correlation function of rank one. Comments on the spontaneous growth of orientational order directly from the isotropic phase are given.
