  • This paper explores a theoretical framework, in which compassion arising from others' suffering among organizational members can be connected to EV to CSR activities via POI. We argue that compassion may generate positive identity related to being a member of a particular organization (i.e., POI), which increases to EV to CSR, ultimately leading to the enhancement of the corporate reputation. In return, an enhanced reputation for the corporation results in an increase of employees' perceived organizational identity via increase of CEI. Employees with high POI are more likely to carry out compassion and share it with others within an organization. In short, the positive circulation between compassion and EV to CSR as shown in Figure 2 demonstrates not only the ways in which compassion among organizational members can evoke EV to CSR through POI, but also how EV to CSR can facilitate compassion within an organization in terms of enhanced corporate reputation.

  • In recent years, ESG activities (Environment, Social and Governance) have been paid more and more attention by enterprises and their stakeholders in various countries. China is the largest developing country in the world. The ESG performance of Chinese listed enterprises helps to understand the shortcomings of their sustainable development ability and further enhance the firm value. Moreover, the interaction effect between green innovation investment and ESG activities is of great significance for enterprises to balance the resource allocation between the two factors in the future. Taking listed Chinese manufacturing companies from 2011 to 2020 as an example, this study investigates the influence of ESG activities on financial performance and non-financial performance, and tests the moderating role of green innovation. Our results show that: (1) ESG performance has a negative impact on financial performance; (2) ESG performance has a positive impact on non-financial performance; (3) Green innovation can positively adjust the negative impact of environmental activities on financial performance. However, it will enhance the negative impact of governance activities on financial performance. The interaction effect between green innovation and social activities on corporate financial performance is a substitution effect; (4) With the improvement of green innovation level, the positive impact of ESG overall performance and environmental performance on corporate reputation will also be suppressed.

  • In the era of industry 4.0 with the robust digital transformation, especially under the trigger of the Covid-19 pandemic, the process of transforming businesses to achieve the desired business performance depends much on the mindset transformation of each member of the organization, beginning with the thoughts of leadership and stakeholders. This study will evaluate the relationship between leadership's strategic reasoning perspectives on employee engagement or commitment and the company's reputation, thereby directly or indirectly affecting organizational performance. The study examines data from 382 companies out of 500 samples in typical industries in Vietnam using the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) techniques. The results show that holistic thinking is closely related to employee retention and corporate reputation, thereby increasing the business outcomes of the organization, whereas there was no evidence to support analytical thinking in this study. As a consequence, transforming the business to achieve the desired business performance is heavily reliant on changing the mindset of each member of the organization, beginning with the top leaders and influencers of the business. This will assist Vietnamese leaders in gaining a comprehensive understanding of corporate governance and controlling the relationships between organizational constructs.

It aims to develop tools to manage the reputation of the CEO and empirically explore the value of the tools use. As a result of the study, reliability, customer management, strategic vision, employee management, and social responsibility were derived as the constituent factors of CEO reputation, and it was confirmed that the relationship between CEO reputation and organizational favorability was statistically causal. Furthermore, the relationship between CEO reputation and product purchase intention was also statistically significant. It was confirmed that if the CEO's reputation was positively managed, it could help the stakeholders to evaluate the company to which the CEO belongs, as well as to purchase the products provided by the company. One of the ways to be well-received by various stakeholders in a corporate environment where uncertainty is intensifying is a reputation management system for CEOs, and CEOs themselves should recognize that their reputation can affect the organization and pay attention to reputation management.

Experts have studied CSR as an antecedent of a company's reputation, but the mechanisms underlying this process are rarely explored. Therefore, to fill this research gap, we demonstrate CSR's implementation combined with organizational justice based on discrepancy and equity theory. This study involved 210 employees in a family company. The study's analysis method uses Structural Equation Model (SEM), SmartPLS, with a five-step measurement and analysis procedure. The variables in this study are CSR implementation, organizational justice, employee trust, firm reputation, organizational objectiveness, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and job performance. The results found that some of the direct relationships stated were not significant, but all demonstrations of indirect links were substantial. Besides, optimal CSR and organizational justice provide a reliable and positive domino effect in increasing the role and consequences of employee trust and firm reputation. The findings in this study confirm that upstream-downstream job performance causality can be successfully achieved if job satisfaction has been realized, job satisfaction can be achieved if organizational commitment can also be recognized, and organizational commitment can be developed. • Since the 1990s, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) issues have been attracting more and more attention from companies and researchers alike. The purchasing behavior of consumers is directly related to not only a company's financial performance, but also the future development of the company. Much of the previous research regarding CSR has mainly focused on the perspectives of enterprises. This paper aims to study the impact of CSR on purchase intention in three aspects - consumer, company and country. We decided to use Samsung to describe the impact of CSR on consumer purchase intentions in China. The results of this study revealed that CSR has a positive impact on the consumer-company identification, corporate reputation and country of origin image. Consumer-company identification turned out to be amore important moderator between CSR and consumers' purchase intentions than country of origin image and corporate reputation.

  • This research has logically investigated and practically analyzed whether a firm's management ethics affect the firm's performance. The proxy measure of management of ethics is the KEJI Index score, the companies assessed with the KEJI, which is published over 6 years from 2004 to 2009 by the Economic Justice Institutein Korea. According to the analysis results, firstly, management of ethics has a positive effect on the ROA firm performance, which supports the existing research results on that the firms that better manage ethics have a better economic performance. Secondly, we found interaction effects of corporate governance on the relationship between management of ethics and firm's performance. One can say that these results bring a new theoretic perspective academically on the reputation effect through management of ethics, and how it affects the firm's performance. Also in practice, the results show not only how the management of ethics is done just for a social flow in enforcing the management of ethics, but also that it is important to make amendments according to the management of ethics by recognizing it's importance and influence on increasing the firm's performance.

Therefore, consumer choice has expanded, and reputation management has become important as a strategy for survival of corporations. Based on previous studies, this research proposed the theoretical framework about the structural relationships among reputation, trust(cognitive trust, affective trust), and loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology - This study examined the structural relationship between reputation, trust, and loyalty from the customer's perspective. Based on comprehensive validation procedures across nine food service Franchise firm types, This study found support for a five-dimensional scale with the following dimensions: Customer Orientation, Employer Brand, Reliable and Financially Strong Company, Product and Service Quality, and Social and Environmental Responsibility. In order to verify the research purposes, research model and hypotheses were developed. The data were collected from 227 food service franchise consumers through online survey. The data was analyzed with SPSS 24.0 and Amos 23.0 statistical program. Result - The results of the study are as follows. First, customer orientation, reliable·financially strong company and product·service quality have significant impact on corporate cognitive trust. And employer brand, product/service quality and social·environmental responsibility have significant impact on corporate affective trust. Second, cognitive trust and affective trust have significant impacts on consumer loyalty. Conclusions - The implications of this study are following as: From the theoretical perspective, this study considers trust as two dimensions such as cognitive and affective, not a single dimension, and identify what dimensions of franchise firms affect consumers' reputation perception and in turn lead cognitive and affective trust, and loyalty. This study also provides several managerial implications. In the franchise market where competition is intensifying, it is very important to analyze the attitudes of consumers in order to gain an advantage in competition with other competitors. In this study, it is meaningful that the study was conducted on consumers who have experience using a restaurant franchise company. Also, reputation is necessary to pay attention to the company because it is an important variable that strengthens with customer through confidence in food service franchise business, and leads loyalty and consumer consumption. Therefore, marketers should develop marketing strategies considering various reputation factors.

  • According to the results of the FKI's ethical management status and CSR promotion status, about 95% of domestic companies enact the Code of Ethics, while 64% of companies operating systems for communication and dialogue with stakeholders in the process of CSR activities, It seems that strategic CSR activities of domestic companies have not been fully established yet compared with the introduction of ethical management. Even if companies conduct CSR activities strategically, there is very little CSR level of the companies that consumers perceive. This is because the psychological mechanism of CSR on consumers' perceptions is too complicated and detailed, resulting in a positive result and a negative result depending on the investigator's research method. So far, there have been many studies on the direct impact of CSR on corporate evaluation, purchase intention, and corporate image. However, there are few studies on the effect of CSR and CA on purchase intention through product attitude. Therefore, The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the effect of corporate social responsibility(CSR) and corporate Ability(CA) on the purchase intention through product attitudes perceived by consumers, and the moderating effect of corporate reputation between product attitude and purchase intention. As a research method, we selected 4 companies, such as Samsung etc, who have been conducting CSR for the past 10 years, as a sample. The relationship between the CSR and the corporate competence of these companies on purchasing intention was examined through questionnaires for general consumers. The results of this study show that CSR and CA have a positive effect on product attitude, and consumers' product attitude has a positive effect on purchase intention. In addition, CSR and CA were found to have a positive (+) effect on purchase intention through consumer attitude. Finally, it is found that the reputation of the firm has a moderating effect on the relationship between consumer's product attitude and purchase intention. This study suggests that CSR should be strategically promoted in order to positively shape the attitude of consumers toward products of companies and their companies. As a theoretical implication, this study showed that the effect of CSR activities and CA on consumer's product attitude and purchase intention, centered on mediating effects of product attitude and corporate reputation discrimination.
