순(純) 알루미늄 V형(型) 및 Finned Casting의 응고(凝固)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (The Study on the Solidification of V-Section and Finned Casting by Use of Pure Aluminum)

  • The progression of the solidification wave front in V-section and finned casting was studied by use of the pour-out test, employed with high. Purity aluminum. The results obtained were as follows; a) The shape of solidification wave front at the inside and outside corners did not change according to solidification time, but it changes according to the corner angles at a given molding and melting condition. b) The cooling fin effect could be repserented as functions of solidification time and fin sise, and this result could be applied to enhance the accuracy of the section modulus method in the design of T and V section.

  • Recently the Carbon Fiber Sheet(CFS) is widely used for strengthening damaged RC structures. Strengthening compression members such as column can increase ductility and strength due to the confinement effect. In this experiment, the behavior of concrete cylinders confined by CFS was examined. The confinement pressure is increased linearly as axial stress is increased in low axial stress, and the confinement effect of CFS was rapidly developed after near maximum axial stress, thus axial strength and ductility was improved. As the ratio of CPS is increased, concrete cylinders failed due to local fracture of CFS. The confinement effect of circular section is more efficient than that of rectangular section. And significant improvement of axial strength, axial strain, transverse strain at failure is observed in circular section. This is because in rectangular section the local fracture of CFS near corner may be occured, thus the strain efficiency ratio must be considered for RC structures with CFS.

  • Auto Climbing Formwork System (ACS) for construction of high-rise building is a construction method for automatically lifting the formwork system supported by the anchor on the pre-constructed concrete wall. It has excellent construction speed and quality, but it has the possibility of structural failure depending on the quality of concrete and also has low economical efficiency due to the use of foreign technology. In order to overcome these problems, this study conducted an optimum design for the development of a new concept of Corner Supported Auto Climbing System (CS-ACS) in conjunction with the development of corner steel-reinforced concrete core wall system. For the design the formwork system, the basic module and structural member compositions were planned, and the structural analysis program was used to analyze the optimum member's cross section and spacing. As a result, the horizontal displacement and the stress of the horizontal members were influenced by the spacing more than the cross-section of the member. On the other hand, vertical members did not affect the displacement and stress of the formwork system. The form tie was very effective in controlling the displacement when adjusting the spacing of the horizontal members, but when the spacing of the form tie is more than 1,500mm, it is analyzed that form tie is yielding in basic module. When the span of the formwork system is more than 30m, it is analyzed that the basic module needs to be changed because of the increase of overall displacement.

  • 탑재체 (Payload)는 수동형과 능동형으로 분류되며 , 다양한 형태의 레이더 영상(Radar Image)을 획득하기 위한 위성은 일반적으로 능동형 탑재체인 SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar)를 이용한다. SAR 위성은 탑재체에서 송신한 전파가 반사되는 것을 획득하여 영상을 형성한다. 때문에 위성이 반사신호를 설계한대로 획득하여 영상을 구성하기 위해서는 궤도에서 실제로 획득한 지상 영상을 기반으로 검보정을 수행하여야 한다. 이에 필요한 것이 지상 목표물인 각면판 반사기(CR; Corner Reflector)이다. 반사기(Reflector)는 다양한 형태가 있으며, SAR를 탑재한 위성의 특성 및 운영목적에 적절하게 설계되어 활용된다. 여기서는 최적의 반사기와 효율적인 반사기들의 특성을 확인하고 그에 대한 고찰을 수행하였다. 또한 그 결과를 바탕으로 삼면판 반사기(Trihedral Corner Reflector)를 설계하고 관련 성능을 확인하였다.

  • Saddle MOSFET의 모서리의 효과에 대한 고전역학과 양자역학적 시뮬레이션의 비교분석을 3차원 수치 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 수행하였다. 비교분석 결과 양자역학적 시뮬레이션에서는 실리콘 핀의 단면에서의 정확한 최대 전자 밀도의 위치와 크기를 제공함으로써 소자의 정확한 설명을 제공하는 것을 보여 주었고, 이를 이용하여 모서리 효과 및 그것이 소자의 문턱전압의 특성을 미치는 영향의 정확한 분석이 실행되었다. 또한, 모서리 효과를 억제하기 위해서 실리콘 핀의 모서리를 둥글게 하거나 구석의 바디도핑을 낮추는 두 가지 가능한 기법을 제시했다.

Quadrilateral RAC filled FRP tubes: Compressive behavior, design and finite element models

  • The need for carbon neutrality in the world strives the construction industry to reduce the use of construction materials. Aiming to this, recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) could be used as it reduces the carbon dioxide emissions. Currently, RAC is mainly used in non-structural members of civil constructions, seldom used in structural members. To broaden its structural use, a new type of composite column, i.e., the square and rectangular RAC filled FRP tubes (CFFTs), has been concerned in this study. The investigation on their axial compressive behavior through physical test and numerical analysis demonstrated that the load-carrying capacity of such column is reduced with the increase of replacement ratio of recycled aggregate and aspect ratio of section but can be improved by the increase of FRP confining stiffness and corner radius, said capacity can be equivalent to their steel reinforced concrete counterparts. At failure, the hoop strain at corner of tube is unexpectedly smaller than that at flat side of the tube although the FRP tube ruptured at its corner first, revealing a premature failure. Besides, a design-oriented stress-strain model of concrete and an analysis-oriented finite element model are proposed to predict the load-strain response of square and rectangular CFFT columns, which facilitates the engineering use of RAC in load-carrying structural members.

조립식(組立式) 탁자(卓子)의 CBA접합부(接合部) 강성(剛性)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Stiffness of CBA(Corner Block with Anchor Bolt) Joint in Knockdown Type Table Furniture)

  • 포장(包裝) 용적(容積) 감소에 따른 수송비(輸送費) 절감(節減) 효과(效果)가 있어 조립시(組立式) 탁자류(卓子類) 가구(家具)의 제작(製作)에 널리 쓰이는 CBA(corner block with anchor bolt) 접합방식(接合方式)은 일정기간(一定期間) 사용(使用)함에 따라 접합부위(接合部位)가 약해지고 그 결과(結果) 구조(構造)가 불안정(不安定)하게 되는 반강접합(半剛接合)(semi-rigid joint) 특유(特有)의 결점(缺點)도 지니고 있다. 따라서 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서는 CBA 접합(接合) 강도(强度)에 영향하는 주요(主要) 설계(設計) 인자(因子)로서 side rail 규격, corner block의 side rail에의 부착시(時) 보강재(補强材)의 효과(效果) 및 corner block관통 anchor bolt의 사용(使用) 수(數) 그리고 corner block의 형태등(等)의 평가(評價)를 하기 위해 22개(個)의 접합군(接合群) 별(別)로 총(總) 88개(個)의 table section 시험체(試驗體)를 제작(製作)한 후(後)그들의 강성(剛性) 계수(係數)(Z - 값) 및 유효강도(有效强度)를 수평 하중(荷重)에 의한 변형측정(變形測定) 실험(實驗)을 통해 결정(決定)한 후 설계(設計) 인자별(因子別) 효과(效果)를 비교 분석(分析)하였다. 분석결과(分析結果), side rail의 높이 증대(增大) 및 corner block 부착시(時) PVAc 수지(樹脂)의 사용효과(使用效果)가 뚜렷하여 유효강도(有效强度)의 유의적(有意的) 향상(向上)을 나타냈고 anchor bolt의 효과(效果) 역시 2개 사용시(使用時)가 1개 사용시(使用時) 보다 훨씬 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또 side rail 높이 와 anchor bolt 사용(使用) 수(數)간에는 상호작용(相互作用) 효과(效果)도 있었다. 그러나 side rail의 두께 효과(效果)는 22mm에서 25mm로 증대(增大)시켰을때 뚜렷한 상승 경향(傾向)은 보여주지 못했다. 한편 corner block의 형태는 MDF를 주재료(主材料)로 사용(使用)한 탁자(卓子) 설계시(設計時)는 두께 25mm, 높이 100mm의 side rail에 PVAc 수지(樹脂)로 보강(補强)하고 mitered corner block에 2개(個)의 anchor bolt를 관통시킨 경우가 유효강도(有效强度) 3171.7 kgf-cm로 22개의 접태군(接台群)들 중 최대치(最大値)를 나타냄으로써 miter type이 rectangular type보다 바람직한 것으로 나타났다. 결론적(結論的)으로 자재(資材)의 효과적(效果的) 이용(利用)을 통한 생산비(生産費) 절감(節減)과 동시(同時)에 구조(構造)의 안정(安定)된 강도적(强度的) 측면(側面)을 고려할 때, 두께 22mm, 높이 75mm의 MDF side rail에 mitered corner block을 PVAc 수지(樹脂)와 나사못을 이용하여 부착한 후(後) 2개(個)의 anchor bolt를 관통시키는 방법(方法)을 가장 합리적(合理的)인 MDF 사용(使用) 조립시(組立式) 탁자(卓子) 설계(設計) 방안(方案)으로 제시(提示)하는 바이다.

  • During the drawing of reentrant section like a spline, the unfilled in the corner of dies or the bended product emerges from the large reduction of area, the complex shaped sections and other nonuniform properties in material and lubrication conditions. In this study, the drawing of the spline section with the non-rotary symmetry from a circular aluminum billet has been analyzed by using commercial code DEFORM-3D. A new die construction method preventing the spline from the drawback of bending and the unfilled defect has been suggested and verified through the analysis using centroid shift method and the hybrid construction between converged and diverged profile.

  • In this study, to analyze the shaped drawing process from round bar, the practical conical die with considering die radius and bearing was defined by a mathematical expression, and also a simple technique for initial mesh generation to the shaped drawing process was proposed. The drawing of rectangular section from round bar, one of the shaped drawing process, has been simulated by using non-steady state 3D rigid plastic finite element method in order to evaluate the influence of semi-die angle and reduction in area to corner filling. Other process variables such as friction constant, rectangular ratio, die radius and bearing length were fixed during the simulation. An artificial neural network has been introduced to obtain the optimal process conditions which gave rise to a fast simulation.

  • The spinning is a very effective manufacturing technology for short production runs in a variety of sizes and shapes, because it can form the cross-section or tubular parts various shapes. However extensive experimental and analytical research has not been carried out. In this study, and fundamental experiment was conducted to improve productivity with process parameter such as tool path, angle of roller holder(a), feed rate(v) and corner radius of forming roller(Rr). These factors were selected as variables in the experiment because they were most likely expected to have and effect on spring back. The clearance was controlled in order to achieve the precision product which is comparable to deep drawing one. And also thickness and diameter distribution of a multistage cup obtained by shear spinning process were observed and compared with those of a commercial product produced by conventional deep drawing.
