This paper is a study about Ac servo motor position and speed control characteristics which depend on feedforward control, the acceleration / deceleration time constant after the interpolation, and PI control, automatic deceleration at corner in order to shape cutting control of feed drive system of the machine tool. The shape error caused by delay of the servo system in the direction of radius at the time of circular cutting is reduced by feedforward control. The shape error generated by the position command delay is minimized by using the acceleration / deceleration time constant after the interpolation. The results were verified to optical machining center experimentation of the machine tool.

Ball-end milling process is widely used in the die and mold manufacturing because of suitable one for the machining of free-form surface. During the process, the pencil cutting operation can be adopted before finish cut to eliminate overload in uncut area caused by large diameter of ball-end mill. The ball-end mill cutter for the pencil cutting is easily deflected by cutting force due to the long and thin shape, and the tool deflection in pencil cutting is one of the main reason of the machining errors in a free-form surface. The purpose of this study is to find the characteristics of deflected cutter trajectory by constructing measurement system with eddy-current sensor. It was found that the severe reduction of corner radius produced the overcut during the plane cutting. Up cutting method induced the overcut both plane and slope cutting, but down cutting one induced the undercut. From the experiments, down cutting with upward cutting path can generate the small undercut surface.

This paper presents the improved KLT(Kanade-Lucas-Tomasi) of registration of Image sequence captured by camera mounted on unmanned helicopter assuming without camera attitude information. It consists of following procedures for the proposed image registration. The initial interested points are detected by characteristic curve matching via dynamic programming which has been used for detecting and tracking corner points thorough image sequence. Outliers of tracked points are then removed by using Random Sample And Consensus(RANSAC) robust estimation and all remained corner points are classified as inliers by homography algorithm. The rectified images are then resampled by bilinear interpolation. Experiment shows that our method can make the suitable registration of image sequence with large motion.

DDI(Display Driver IC) are used to drive numerous pixels that make up display. For stable driving of DDI, it is necessary to attach a protective film to shield electromagnetic waves. When the protective film is attached, defects often occur if the film is inclined or the center point is not aligned. In order to minimize such defects, an algorithm for correcting the center point and the inclined angle using camera image information is required. This technology detects the corner coordinates of the protective film by image processing in order to correct the positional defects where the protective film is attached. Corner point coordinates are detected using an algorithm, and center point position finds and correction values are calculated using the detected coordinates. LUT (Lookup Table) is used to quickly find out whether the angle is inclined or not. These algorithms were described by Verilog HDL. The method using the existing software requires a memory to store the entire image after processing one image. Since the method proposed in this paper is a method of scanning by adding a line buffer in one scan, it is possible to scan even if only a part of the image is saved after processing one image. Compared to those written in software language, the execution time is shortened, the speed is very fast, and the error is relatively small.

Helicopter-borne FMCW radar altimeter obtains the altitude information using the beat frequency between the transmitted and reflected signal from the nadir direction. However, the altitude error may exist when the strong echoes are received from the large RCS at the off-nadir direction because of the wide beamwidth of the altimeter antenna. In this paper, in order to investigate the effect of the altitude error due to the large RCS around the off-nadir direction, the reflected signals were measured by using the corner reflectors displaced on the several reference ground positions, and the acquired signals were analyzed and compared in the spectral domain. The analysis results can be used for the improvement of the altitude accuracy in the radar altimeter.
Passive ranging is a critical part of machine vision measurement. Most of passive ranging methods based on machine vision use binocular technology which need strict hardware conditions and lack of universality. To measure the distance of an object placed on horizontal plane, we present a passive ranging method based on monocular vision system by smartphone. Experimental results show that given the same abscissas, the ordinatesis of the image points linearly related to their actual imaging angles. According to this principle, we first establish a depth extraction model by assuming a linear function and substituting the actual imaging angles and ordinates of the special conjugate points into the linear function. The vertical distance of the target object to the optical axis is then calculated according to imaging principle of camera, and the passive ranging can be derived by depth and vertical distance to the optical axis of target object. Experimental results show that ranging by this method has a higher accuracy compare with others based on binocular vision system. The mean relative error of the depth measurement is 0.937% when the distance is within 3 m. When it is 3-10 m, the mean relative error is 1.71%. Compared with other methods based on monocular vision system, the method does not need to calibrate before ranging and avoids the error caused by data fitting.
My research is based on the parser for ill-formed input by Mellish in a paper in ACL 27th meeting Proceedings. 1989. My system is composed of two parsers:WFCP and IFCP. When WFCP fails to give the parse tree for the input sentence, the sentence is identified as ill-formed and is parsed by IFCP for error detection and recovery at the syntactic level. My system is indendent of grammatical rules. It does not take into account semantic ill-formedness. My system uses a grammar composed of 25 context-free rules. My system consistes of two major parsing strategies:top-down expection and bottem-up satisfaction. With top-down expectation. rules are retrieved under the inference condition and expaned by inactive arcs. When doing bottom-up parsing. my parser used two modes:Left-Right parsing and Right-to-Left parsing. My system repairs errors sucessfully when the input contains an omitted word or an unknown word substitued for a valid word. Left- corner and right-corner errors are more easily detected and repaired than ill-formed senteces where the error is in teh middle. The deviance note. with repair details, is kept in new inactive arcs which are generated by the error correction procedure. The implementation of my system is quite different from Mellish's. When rules are invoked. my system invokes all rules with minimal inference. My bottom up parsing strategy uses Left-to-Right mode and Right-to-Left mode. My system is bottom-up-parsing-oriented like the chart parser. Errors are repaired in two ways:using top-down hypothesis, and using Need-Chart which keeps the information of expectation and complection of expanded goals by rules. To reduce the number of top-down cycles. all rules are invoked simultaneously and this invocation information is kept in Need-Chart. This idea will be extended for the implementation of multiple error recovery system.
With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, autonomous driving technology is being commercialized in various industries. However, research on autonomous driving so far has focused on platforms with wheel-type platform. Research on a tracked platform is at a relatively inadequate step. Since the tracked platform has a different driving and steering method from the wheel-type platform, the existing research cannot be applied as it is. Therefore, a path-tracking algorithm suitable for a tracked platform is required. In this paper, we studied a path-tracking algorithm for a tracked platform based on a GPS sensor. The existing Pure Pursuit algorithm was applied in consideration of the characteristics of the tracked platform. And to compensate for "Cutting Corner", which is a disadvantage of the existing Pure Pursuit algorithm, an algorithm that changes the LAD according to the curvature of the path was developed. In the existing pure pursuit algorithm that used a tracked platform to drive a path including a right-angle turn, the RMS path error in the straight section was 0.1034 m and the RMS error in the turning section was measured to be 0.2787 m. On the other hand, in the variable LAD algorithm, the RMS path error in the straight section was 0.0987 m, and the RMS path error in the turning section was measured to be 0.1396 m. In the turning section, the RMS path error was reduced by 48.8971%. The validity of the algorithm was verified by measuring the path error by tracking the path using a tracked robot platform.
In this paper, we propose a moving object detection and tracking algorithm based on multi-frame feature point tracking information to reduce false positives. However, there are problems of detection error and tracking speed in existing studies. In order to compensate for this, we first calculate the corner feature points and the optical flow of multiple frames for camera movement compensation and object tracking. Next, the tracking error of the optical flow is reduced by the multi-frame forward-backward tracking, and the traced feature points are divided into the background and the moving object candidate based on homography and RANSAC algorithm for camera movement compensation. Among the transformed corner feature points, the outlier points removed by the RANSAC are clustered and the outlier cluster of a certain size is classified as the moving object candidate. Objects classified as moving object candidates are tracked according to label tracking based data association analysis. In this paper, we prove that the proposed algorithm improves both precision and recall compared with existing algorithms by using quadrotor image - based detection and tracking performance experiments.
The observed spectra from Odaesan earthquake were fitted to a point-source spectral model to evaluate the source spectrum and spatial features of the modelling error. The source spectrum was calculated by removing from the observed spectra the path and site dependent responses (Yun, 2007) that were previously revealed through an inversion process applied to a large accumulated spectral dataset. The stress drop parameter of one-corner Brune's ${\omega}^2$ source model fitted to the estimated source spectrum was well predicted by the scaling relation between magnitude and stress drop developed by Yun et al. (2006). In particular, the estimated spectrum was quite comparable to the two-corner source model that was empirically developed for recent moderate earthquakes occurring around the Korean Peninsula, which indicates that Odaesan earthquake is one of typical moderate earthquakes representative of Korean Peninsula. Other features of the observed spectra from Odaesan earthquake were also evaluated based on the commonly treated random error between the observed data and the estimated point-source spectral model. Radiation pattern of the error according to azimuth angle was found to be similar to the theoretical estimate. It was also observed that the spatial distribution of the errors was correlated with the geological map and the $Q_0$ map which are indicatives of seismic boundaries.
