An automatic freeway bus-only lane enforcement system was developed and assessed in a real-world environment. Observation of a bus-only lane on the Youngdong freeway, South Korea, revealed that approximately 99% of the vehicles violated the high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane regulation. However, the current enforcement by the police not only exhibits a low enforcement rate, but also induces unnecessary safety and delay concerns. Since vehicles with six passengers or higher are permitted to enter freeway bus-only lanes, identifying the number of passengers in a vehicle is a core technology required for a freeway bus-only lane enforcement system. To that end, infrared cameras and the You Only Look Once (YOLOv5) deep learning algorithm were utilized. For assessment of the performance of the developed system, two environments, including a controlled test-bed and a real-world freeway, were used. As a result, the performances under the test-bed and the real-world environments exhibited 7% and 8% errors, respectively, indicating satisfactory outcomes. The developed system would contribute to an efficient freeway bus-only lane operations as well as eliminate safety and delay concerns caused by the current manual enforcement procedures.
The development and distribution approach of applications is transitioning from a monolithic architecture to microservices and containerization, a lightweight virtualization technology, is becoming a core IT technology. However, unlike traditional virtual machines based on hypervisors, container technology does not provide concrete security boundaries as it shares the same kernel. According to various preceding studies, there are many security vulnerabilities in most container images that are currently shared. Accordingly, attackers may attempt exploitation by using security vulnerabilities, which may seriously affect the system environment. Therefore, in this study, we propose an efficient automated deployment pipeline design to prevent the distribution of container images with security vulnerabilities, aiming to provide a secure container environment. Through this approach, we can ensure a safe container environment.
This research attempts to provide greater understandings about 'Transbranding' theory by an analysis of , a 3D animation produced by Disney Studio released in 2013 partly in comparison with . Furthermore, this research shows the branding strategy of "Disney", reputed for its well-devised marketing strategy, in the era of Transmedia. This research analyzes the animation with four components of 「Transmedia Mix strategy」 and the 「2F(Flexible Fit) strategy」. In the 「2F(Flexible Fit) strategy」 analysis, is compared with another Disney-made animation . not just maintains the core values of Disney animations but also implements diverse strategies for developing the evolving interactions, the collaborative creation, and the multi-experience. has achieved successful branding identity/image by securing the strategic flexibility by differentiating itself from the existing Disney animations. Disney also establishes itself as a new and modern brand through 2F strategies.
This study aims to analyze research trends regarding outdoor wear. For this purpose, the data-collection period was limited to January 2002-October 2022, and the collection consisted of titles of papers, academic names, abstracts, and publication years from the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS). Frequency analysis was conducted on 227 papers in total to check academic journals and annual trends, and LDA topic-modeling analysis was conducted using 20,964 tokens. Data pre-processing was performed prior to topic-modeling analysis; after that, topic-modeling analysis, core topic derivation, and visualization were performed using a Python algorithm. A total of eight topics were obtained from the comprehensive analysis: experiential marketing and lifestyle, property and evaluation of outdoor wear, design and patterns of outdoor wear, outdoor-wear purchase behavior, color, designs and materials of outdoor wear, promotional strategies for outdoor wear, purchase intention and satisfaction depending on the brand image of outdoor wear, differences in outdoor wear preferences by consumer group. The results of topic-modeling analysis revealed that the topic, which includes a study on the design and material of outdoor wear and the pattern of jackets related to the overall shape, was the highest at 30.9% of the total topics. The next highest topic was also the design and color of outdoor wear, indicating that design-related research was the main research topic in outdoor wear research. It is hoped that analyzing outdoor wear research will help comprehend the research conducted thus far and reveal future directions.
The automotive industry plays a significant role in the global economy. In order to manage brand performance, Hyundai's marketing platformalso includes marketing performance management, brand performance management, and market driven organization. From this diagnosis, Hyundai Motor is well posed to build a strong brand. Nevertheless, there are still challenges ahead from consumer, technology, competitor, and macro-environment perspectives. To overcome these threats, the bases of competition for all successful automotive brands are various differentiation factors, including technology, performance, value proposition, or heritage. Hyundai Motor is well prepared so far. However, it is not tested against time yet whether Hyundai can overcome these unforeseeable major threats. This paper introduces a new method for identification of building energy performance problems. The presented method is based on automated analysis and visualization of deviations between actual and expected energy performance of the building using EPAR (Energy Performance Augmented Reality) models. For generating EPAR models, during building inspections, energy auditors collect a large number of digital and thermal imagery using a consumer-level single thermal camera that has a built-in digital lens. Based on a pipeline of image-based 3D reconstruction algorithms built on GPU and multi-core CPU architecture, 3D geometrical and thermal point cloud models of the building under inspection are automatically generated and integrated. Then, the resulting actual 3D spatio-thermal model and the expected energy performance model simulated using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis are superimposed within an augmented reality environment. Based on the resulting EPAR models which jointly visualize the actual and expected energy performance of the building under inspection, two new algorithms are introduced for quick and reliable identification of potential performance problems: 1) 3D thermal mesh modeling using k-d trees and nearest neighbor searching to automate calculation of temperature deviations; and 2) automated visualization of performance deviations using a metaphor based on traffic light colors. The proposed EPAR v2.0 modeling method is validated on several interior locations of a residential building and an instructional facility. Our empirical observations show that the automated energy performance analysis using EPAR models enables performance deviations to be rapidly and accurately identified. The visualization of performance deviations in 3D enables auditors to easily identify potential building performance problems. Rather than manually analyzing thermal imagery, auditors can focus on other important tasks such as evaluating possible remedial alternatives.

It is widely recognized that for 3D human pose estimation (HPE), dataset acquisition is expensive and the effectiveness of augmentation techniques of conventional visual recognition tasks is limited. We address these difficulties by presenting a simple but effective method that augments input images in terms of viewpoints when training a 3D human pose estimation (HPE) model. Our intuition is that meaningful variants of the input images for HPE could be obtained by viewing a human instance in the images from an arbitrary viewpoint different from that in the original images. The core idea is to synthesize new images that have self-occlusion and thus are difficult to predict at different viewpoints even with the same pose of the original example. We incorporate this idea into the training procedure of the 3D HPE model as an augmentation stage of the input samples. We show that a strategy for augmenting the synthesized example should be carefully designed in terms of the frequency of performing the augmentation and the selection of viewpoints for synthesizing the samples. To this end, we propose a new metric to measure the prediction difficulty of input images for 3D HPE in terms of the distance between corresponding keypoints on both sides of a human body. Extensive exploration of the space of augmentation probability choices and example selection according to the proposed distance metric leads to a performance gain of up to 6.2% on Human3.6M, the well-known pose estimation dataset.

In this study, we quantify the residual motion artifact in 4D-CT scan using the dynamic lung phantom which could simulate respiratory target motion and suggest a simple one-dimension theoretical model to explain and characterize the source of motion artifacts in 4DCT scanning. We set-up regular 1D sine motion and adjusted three level of amplitude (10, 20, 30 mm) with fixed period (4s). The 4DCT scans are acquired in helical mode and phase information provided by the belt type respiratory monitoring system. The images were sorted into ten phase bins ranging from 0% to 90%. The reconstructed images were subsequently imported into the Treatment Planning System (CorePLAN, SC&J) for target delineation using a fixed contour window and dimensions of the three targets are measured along the direction of motion. Target dimension of each phase image have same changing trend. The error is minimum at 50% phase in all case (10, 20, 30 mm) and we found that ${\Delta}S$ (target dimension change) of 10, 20 and 30 mm amplitude were 0 (0%), 0.1 (5%), 0.1 (5%) cm respectively compare to the static image of target diameter (2 cm). while the error is maximum at 30% and 80% phase ${\Delta}S$ of 10, 20 and 30 mm amplitude were 0.2 (10%), 0.7 (35%), 0.9 (45%) cm respectively. Based on these result, we try to analysis the residual motion artifact in 4D-CT scan using a simple one-dimension theoretical model and also we developed a simulation program. Our results explain the effect of residual motion on each phase target displacement and also shown that residual motion artifact was affected that the target velocity at each phase. In this study, we focus on provides a more intuitive understanding about the residual motion artifact and try to explain the relationship motion parameters of the scanner, treatment couch and tumor. In conclusion, our results could help to decide the appropriate reconstruction phase and CT parameters which reduce the residual motion artifact in 4DCT.
As we cannot think of our lives without a nation, it is closely related to almost every part of our daily lives. The role of government is becoming more important in the complex modern society as an essential element of national authority even though the government has indirect and secondary characteristics in its functional performance. Therefore, the government has to be efficient in planning and executing its policies, and it needs to be representative and fair as part of a national authoritative community. In the 21st century when symbolic and cultural importance of images are becoming more important, it is crucial for the government organizations to have an integrated identity design system that can satisfy both of these requirements of the government. However, the C.I.(Corporate Identity) of each Korean administrative branch has been developed separately and sporadically, which resulted in lack of consistency as part of the government. Shape and material of their C.I.s that follow short term design trend and popularity also lack uniqueness which can be distinguished from those of any private corporation. This may show that our government lacks systematic administrative capability, since image of a feature represents its characteristics and reality, and their recognition and evaluation from others become identity of the feature. In this perspective, the purpose of this thesis is to suggest an identity design system that has certain rules and regularity with wide variety of possible alterations for the central administration in Korea. In order to represent this visually, identity design system with both integrity and variety of possible alteration is created based on traditional Korean culture, especially the concept of Umyang-ohaeng and Samjae.

This paper offers a landscape design proposal for the 2014 Dreampark Chrysanthemum Festival within the Sudokwon Landfill Site. This site is located at 58 Baeksukdong, Seo-gu, Incheon, and it has an area of approximately $560,000m^2$. Over 1.53million visitors came to this festival on the previous year. This design includes an overall masterplan and a series of planting plans along with a core selection of iconic topiaries. The goal of the design is to create a landscape that improves the value of the place image and local economy as well as celebrates the 2014 Incheon Asian Game. In order to achieve this goal, three design subjects were considered: promoting local pride as a part of Incheon, increasing the aesthetic value of the site based on the brand image, and sustainable placemaking. To promote local pride, the 2km long "Little Incheon" is designed over a wildflower field, which is inspired by Incheon Bridge to give a strong image of the locality. A variety of programs from local gardening participation were introduced to the east part of the site. The design also outlines the vision for the development of Dreampark - a people-oriented gathering place for the entire community with spaces that offer a variety of unstructured recreational and cultural experiences. To increase the aesthetic brand value of the festival, it introduced a variety of wildflower beds scattering through the whole site. It creates a strong brand image for the festival and memories that will encourage visitors to return. Various folktales of Asian countries are displayed by autumn flowers and groundcover plants at the centre of the site, which is the highlight of the festival site. For sustainable placemaking, the design preserves the existing trees and reed beds for wildlife to create natural layers of landscape. In addition, facilities and service centers are designed to be flexible and are centred on the needs of the people using them. Also a festival management scheme was planned in order to operate the site efficiently and economically.
