The Korean National Agrobiodiversity Center holds the more than 1300 accessions of proso millet, but a large portion of accessions are landrace of Korea that has very similar traits. To comprehend the maximum genetic diversity of this crop, a core collection with minimum number of accessions will facilitate easy access to genetic material. Here we assessed the genetic diversity and population structure in a germplasm collection of 830 accessions by employing EST-SSR markers and morphological traits. A total of 107 alleles were detected with an average allele number of 4.9 per locus among the 830 accessions based on 37 EST-SSR markers. The number of alleles per locus ranged from 2 to 7. Polymorphism information content and expected heterozygosity ranged from 0.06 to 0.68 (mean = 0.21) and 0.06 to 0.73 (mean = 0.23), respectively. The germplasm collection was separated into two groups based on population structure analysis, whereas principal coordinate analysis (PCoA) could not cluster accessions according to their geographic origin. Subsequently, a preliminarily developed core collection with a total of 141 accessions (17%) was selected from the whole set of germplasm by combining allelic variations of EST-SSR markers and eight different phenotypic traits. The core collection optimally represented the whole germplasm collection and displayed a similar level of PCoA value and genetic variation from the initial collection. The results obtained here provide a primary resource for further genetic analysis and establish a reference for further development of appropriate genetic breeding strategies.
The transformer core using amorphous Fe-B-Si ribbon were designed by magnetostatic software. The basic model of core is Butt-Lap-Step type, non-culled typo and stair type core joint. And the variables are the number of ribbons for on step, flux density and core shape.
In this study, glassy carbon was ground for lens core of glass mold press. Ultraprecision grinding process was applied for machining of core surfaces. During the process, brittle crack occurred because of hard-brittleness of glassy carbon. Author investigated optimized grinding conditions from the viewpoint of ductile mode grinding. Geometrical undeformed chip thickness was adopted for critical chip thickness that enables crack free surface. Machined cores are utilized for biaspheric glass lens fabrication and surfaces of lens were compared for verification of ground surface.

In this paper, we developed those Directory Services based on the Web-Service, because Web-Service environments provide a suitable method to gather requested information in an appropriate way. The proposed architecture cooperate with other OpenLS(Open Location Service) Core Services ( Location Utility Service and Router Determin ation service) and is an interoperability one - it ident ifies those global elements of the global Web-Services network that are required in order to ensure interoperability between Web-Services. In this paper, a new architecture of Directory Service with OpenLS Core Services is proposed and tested in OpenLS Core Services environments.
In this Study, effect of core position, area ratio and orientation of building on energy load is examined using TRNSYS17. This parameters are major parameters of the conceptual design stage. Reference model is square floor plan($1,444m^2$), centered core and 29% core area ratio. As the results, without considering the building orientation, the annual heating load of central building with 1:1 area ratio is lowest ($10.33kWh/m^2yr$) and the annual cooling load of off-central building with 1:1 area ratio is lowest ($59.27kWh/m^2yr$). As area ratio is bigger, cooling load is lower and heating load is higher. But if we consider building orientation, orders of heating load and cooling load are changed for area ratio and orientation.
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), which were used for military purposes, are gradually expanding their application fields under the influence of electrification and digitalization. Starting from the field of aerial imaging and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission, nowadays the possibility of Urban Air Mobility (UAM), which transports passengers and cargo with drones, is widely under discussion. In order to occupy the rapidly growing global unmanned aerial vehicle market in advance, it is necessary to secure core technologies and develop key UAVs components based on the new technologies. In the navigation field, it is necessary to secure a precise position with guaranteed reliability and continuity, unrelated to the operating environments. The reliability and continuity should be secured in the algorithm level and in the H/W component levels also. In order to achieve this technical goal, the Ministry of Science and ICT has launched the 'Unmanned Vehicle Core Technology Research and Development Program' in 2019 to support the R&D on the unmanned vehicle technologies. In this paper, authors introduce the unmanned vehicle core technology research and development program to the related researchers. The authors summarize the backgrounds of the program and show the technological tasks and objectives on the sub-programs in the unmanned vehicle navigation program. We present the program schedules especially focused on the test and evaluation of the developed technologies and components.
300mm F/4.0 telephotolens with diffractive hybrid lens was designed, and its optical performance was tested and compared with a traditional lens system. DOE(Diffractive Optical Element) reconstructs wavefronts using wave phenomena of light to focus the incident light onto the focal point and has negative Abbe number while a traditional lens uses geometrical phenomena of light and has positive Abbe number. Therefore, a diffractive hybrid lens containing both refractive and diffractive elements can remarkably correct chromatic aberration and spherical aberration of an optical system. We investigated and analyzed the optical properties of a diffractive hybrid lens for the visible spectrum, and we used a difractive hybrid lens to design and evaluate a 300mm F/4.0 telephotolens without the special LD(Low Dispersive) glass lens which is costly and difficult to manufacture. Most traditional telephotolenses use the special LD glass for chromatic aberration correcton. Optical performance tests such as resolution and characteristics of aberration of both lens systems using a diffractive hybrid lens and traditional lens were performed.
A three-dimensional pharmacophore model was developed based on 24 currently available inhibitors, which were rationally selected from 472 compounds with diverse molecular structure and bioactivity, for generating pharmacophore of uPA (Urokinase Plasminogen Activator) inhibitors. The best hypothesis (Hypo1) comprised of five features, namely, one positive ionizable group, one hydrogen-bond acceptor group and three hydrophobic aromatic groups. The correlation coefficient, root mean square deviation and cost difference were 0.973, 0.695, and 94.291 respectively, suggesting that a highly predictive pharmacophore model was successfully obtained. The application of the model showed great success in predicting the activities of 251 known uPA inhibitors (test set) with a correlation coefficient of 0.837, and there was also none of the outcome hypotheses that had similar cost difference and RMS deviation (RMSD) with that of the initial hypothesis generated by Cat-Scramble validation test with 95% confidence level. Accordingly, our model should be reliable in identifying structurally diverse compounds with desired biological activity.
