고효율 배관용 정밀성형 벤딩머시인 개발 (Development of Bending Machine with High Efficiency and Precision Forming)

  • 연질 동관은 조선, 자동차, 플랜드, 냉동공조 기기 등에 많이 사용되는 대표적인 파이프 재료 중의 하나이다. 그러나 이러한 재료들은 벤딩가공시 외부의 주름, 스프링백, 관이 얇아지는 현상들이 자주 발생하여 문제가 된다. 본 논문에서는 연성재질을 벤딩시 맨드럴이 슬라이딩 가이드 레일을 따라서 파이프를 누르는 벤딩방식을 선택한 연성재질 전용 벤딩머시인을 제작하여 이와 같은 현상을 줄였다. 이의 성능을 확인하는 과정에서 재료로 사용한 동관의 직경이 작을수록 스프링백 현상은 증가하였고 또한 굽힘각도가 클수록 컸다. 또한 동관의 벤딩시 주름이 거의 발생하지 않는 성형품을 제작할 수 있었다.

  • This study has been performed to investigate the thermal performance of variable conductance heat pipe (VCHP) with screen meshed wick. The active length of condenser section in a VCHP is varied by non-condensible gas, which controls the operating temperature, and the heat capacity of VCHP is controlled by the operating temperature. In this study, numerical analysis of the VCHP based on the diffusion model of non-condensible gas is done for the thermal control performance of VCHP. Water is used as a working fluid and nitrogen as a control non-condensible gas in the copper tube. As a result, the thermal conductance of VCHP has been compared with that of constant conductance heat pipe (CCHP) corresponding to the variation of operating temperature.

  • In this paper, the pressure drops were investigated according to the sintered porous wick structure in loop heat pipe(LHP) by theoretical analysis. LHP has the wick only in evaporator for the circulation of working fluid, so utilizes porous wick structure which pore diameter is very small for large capillary force. This paper investigates the effects of different parameters on the pressure drops of the LHP such as particle diameter of sintered porous wick, wick porosity, vapor line diameter, thickness of wick and heating capacity. Working fluid is water and the material of sintered porous wick is copper. According to the these different parameters, capillary pressure, pressure drop in wick were analized by theoretical design method of LHP.

  • This these was conducted to investigate tile characteristics of a frozen start up for a VCHP which has water as a working fluid and Nitrogen as a non-condensible gas. The tested heat pipe was made of a copper tube with the outer diameter of 12.7 mm, the length of 340 mm, and the sintered metal wick had the thickness of 0.7 mm. This experiment was conflicted under the thermal load, inclined angle and cooling conditions.

증발부 내경 변화에 따른 진동형 히트파이프의 온도 거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on temperature behavior of pulsating heat pipe with different diameter in evaporator)

  • In this study, the temperature behavior of Pulsating Heat Pipe (PHP) according to the diameter change were studied by limiting the diameter change to only the evaporator. To investigate operation of PHP in various heat input, heat input power was increased from 10 to 120 W. The results show operation can be divided into 3 regimes by temperature behavior. Thermal resistance was increased before start-up and decreased with increasing heat input. At 110 W heat input, thermal conductivity of 2 mm PHP was 8 .times higher compare to thermal conductivity of copper. Further, to investigate details of temperature behavior in higher heat input, FFT analysis was conducted. Based on the results, when the deviation of peak frequency in each section is lowest, the thermal resistance has lowest value.

  • In process of reinforced concrete (RC) box structure, the heat of hydration may cause serious thermal cracking. This paper reports results of hydration heat control in mass concrete using the oscillating heat pipe. There were three RC box molds ($1.2m{\times}1.8m{\times}2.4m$) which were different from each other. One was not equipped with pulsating heat pipe. The others were equipped with pulsating heat pipe. All of them were cooled with natural air convection. The pulsating heat pipe was composed of 10 turns of serpentine type copper pipe whose outer and inner diameters were 4 and 2.8 mm respectively. The working fluid was R-22 and charging ratio was 40% by volume. The temperature of the concrete core was approximately $55^{\circ}C$ in the winter without pulsating heat pipe. For a concrete with pulsating heat pipe, however, the temperature difference with the outdoor one reduced up to $12^{\circ}C$. The index figure of crack was varied from 0.75 to 1.38.

  • 본 논문에서는 상용주파 고장전류 및 뇌격전류를 모두 효과적으로 대지로 방류할 수 있는 새로운 형태의 접지 봉인 아크유도형 침부 접지봉을 고안하여 특성올 연구, 분석하였다. 아크유도형 침부 접지봉의 구조는 일반 접지 용의 표면에 침을 부착한 후 동파이프에 넣었다. 이 고안된 접지봉이 배전선로의 피뢰기 접지봉에 사용될 경우의 특성올 검토한 결과, 침과 동파이프 사이에서 아크가 발생하여 전기에너지를 효과적으로 소모함으로써 피뢰기 1차측 전압이 감소됨을 확인하였다.

  • Earth to air heat exchangers made by iron, aluminium, copper and poly-ethylene pipe for single greenhouse heating were experimented and blowers. Earth to air heat exchanger was installed by pipelines in earth tube at 70cm depths and air blower was the heating capacity 3kW/h, As the result, Temperature difference due to temperature history of the inlet and outlet air on the various type in earth tube in greenhouse showed that air temperature at the various type in earth tube, comparison tube were make no difference respectively. Under the experimental condition, heat fluxes and heating load were showed 6,800Kcal/h, 19,699kcal/h generally yield of Lactuca Sativa cultured during days of sowing 90day in greenhouse using copper pipe was 170% incleased.

소결윅 히트파이프의 제작 및 작동성능 (Manufacturing and Operating Performance of the Heat Pipe with Sintered Wick)

  • In this study, to make an excellent heat pipe, the manufacturing technology of a sintered wick was investigated. Making a sintered wick is known to be very difficult but it has many advantages. For example, the porosity and pore size can be controlled and the capillary force is great. The mixture of copper and pore former powder was used as a wick material and ceramic-coated stainless steel was used as a mandrel which is necessary for vapor flow. To analyze the feature of the manufactured wick, not only porosity and pore size were measured but also the sintered structure was observed. A heat pipe with sintered wick was manufactured and the performance test of the heat pipe was performed in order to review cooling performance. The performance test results for the 4mm diameter heat pipe with the sintered wick shows the stability since the temperature difference between a evaporator and a condenser of the heat pipe is less than 4.4$^{\circ}C$, and thermal resistance is less than 0.7$^{\circ}C$/W, In the meantime the composite wick that is composed with sintered and woven wire was also examined. The heat transfer limit of the heat pipe with composite wick was enhanced about 51%~60% compare to the one with sintered wick.
