이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 대학도서관 공동보존서고 구축을 위한 기초자료로서 미국, 호주, 스코틀랜드의 주요한 대학도서관 공동보존서고 7개관의 구축과 운영에 관련된 특성을 기술 및 분석하는 것이다. 각 공동보존서고의 물리적 시설, 운영주체, 소장자료의 성격과 규모 자료의 소유권, 자료의 이용과 서비스, 자료관리와 접근 시스템 등의 고유한 특성을 서술하고 시설구축 및 운영의 목표 서고 환경 등에서 공통적으로 관찰되는 요소들을 분석함으로써, 상이한 공동보존서고의 발전현황을 이해하고, 우리나라의 대학도서관 공동보존서고를 건립하는 데 필요한 상황과 조건을 파악하도록 하였다.

Purpose - This study aims to examine whether key differences in characteristics of unions have significant implications for absenteeism. To uncover what characteristics of union made workers make decisions to be absent, this study used such key dimensions of unionism as democracy, cooperative strategy of a union, and d density rate. Research design and methodology - The research model of this study is that absenteeism has positive relations with union's democracy and density. But it has negative relations with union cooperative strategy. This study was conducted by survey method on 333local unionized business entities of metal industry in South Korea. Results - The result shows that significant and positive relationship between unions with high density rates, democracy and absenteeism which is in line with the argument of the previous studies. Different from the expectation, the hypotheses 2, it has been shown that there is positive relation between cooperative strategy of union and the decision of workers to be absent. Conclusions - Employers with unions with high density rates could not fully exercise disciplinary power against those workers absent at workplace since a strong union shields them effectively from punishments by employers.

The environmental conditions in smallholder dairy farms especially the effects of dairy wastes on waters and soil were the main objectives of this investigation. Forty-three dairy farms from an older dairy cooperative (Nongpho Dairy Cooperative, NP) were compared with four dairy fauns from relatively new dairy cooperative (Kamphaengsaen Dairy Cooperative, KS) for the quality parameters of water and soil samples during a 12-month period. Forty-three farms at NP were from three geographical areas and three levels farm crowdedness. The results from this study clearly showed that the waste waters from older dairy barns contained much higher levels of organic and inorganic substances which could create environmental pollution if not properly managed. The differences in waste water qualities due to areas and seasons were not significant, while waste water samples from crowded farms tended to contain higher averages of waste water parameters such as COD and BOD. Highly significant correlations between pairs of waste water parameters indicated that certain parameters can be used without the need for chemical analysis of some other parameters. The qualities of well water on dairy farms as well as water samples from public waterways nearby indicated some contamination of dairy wastes such as manure. Storage and sun-drying of dairy manure on bare soil surface could result in the contamination of underground water and nearby water sources. Some recommendations from this study if implemented can prevent environmental pollution in smallholder dairy farms.

유비쿼터스 서비스가 여러 분야에서 실용화 단계에 와 있다. 특히 u-쇼핑 분야에서는 사용자의 상황에 맞게 상품 혹은 상점을 유연하게 추천해 주는 개인화된 추천이 필요하다. 그러나 현재의 협력적 질의나 상황인식적 검색은 각각 동적 상황과 모호한 검색을 처리하지 못한다는 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 이 두 가지 중요한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 개인화된 상황인식적이고 협동적인 검색방법을 상황적MKAH를 유도방법으로 제안하는 것이다. 본 연구의 가능성을 보이기 위해 CACO라고 하는 프로토타입 시스템을 구현하였으며 국내의 한 대규모 쇼핑몰 도메인에 맞게 적용하였다.

Enhanced methodologies for process diagnosis and abnormal situation management have been developed for the last two decades. However, there is no single method that always shows better performance over all kinds of diagnostic problems. In this paper, a framework of message-passing, cooperative, intelligent diagnostic agents is presented for improved on-line fault diagnosis through cooperative problem solving of different expertise. A group of diagnostic agents in charge of different process functional perform local diagnoses in parallel; exchange related information with other diagnostic agents; and cooperatively solve the global diagnostic problem of the whole process plant or business units just like human experts would do. For their better understanding, sharing and exchanging of process knowledge and information, we also suggest a way of remodeling processes and protocols, taking into account semantic abstracts of process information and data. The benefits of the suggested multi-agents-based approach are demonstrated by the implementations for solving the diagnostic problems of various chemical processes.

의학도서관에 있어 예산면이나 관리면에 가장 중점을 이루는 것이 학술잡지이다. 더욱이 대부분 외국학술지에 의존하고 있는 우리의 실정으로는 더욱 예산의 압박을 초래하고 있다. 그러므로 외국학술잡지의 협동수서를 위한 기초 조사로 중요 의학도서관들의 학술잡지 이용 실태를 조사하여 핵심 잡지군의 시간적, 기관적 차이를 알아보았고 각 의학도서관의 공통적 핵심잡지군등을 조사, 연구하였다.

In a mobile ad hoc network (MANET), communication between mobile nodes occurs without centralized control. In this environment the mobility of a node is unpredictable; this is considered as a characteristic of wireless networks. Because of faulty or malicious nodes, the network is vulnerable to routing misbehavior. The resource constrained characteristics of MANETs leads to increased query delay at the time of data access. In this paper, AntHocNet+ Security (ANTSEC) framework is proposed that includes an enhanced cooperative caching scheme embedded with artificial immune system. This framework improves security by injecting immunity into the data packets, improves the packet delivery ratio and reduces end-to-end delay using cross layer design. The issues of node failure and node malfunction are addressed in the cache management.

In education, innovative ways of teaching and learning are always under development and keep being proposed with advanced concepts since the ancient times. Student-centered learning, problem-based learning and cooperative learning have been three major trends under development in secondary education research and practice more than a decade or so. Combined with advanced information and communication technologies, these trends will greatly transform the way we teach and learn in classroom environment and may change the classroom environment itself, into a more interactive and self-centered coaching type environment. In this study, a smart environment that utilizes advanced information technology devices and network is conceptualized, accommodating requirements contained and proposed in the recent trendy pedagogies. Pedagogical cases discussed in these trends are analyzed in detail, producing requirements for such a learning and coaching environment. These requirements are modeled using unified modeling language, leading to a proposal of a basic architecture for an information system supporting this environment.

In Korea, the distribution channel for agricultural products is notorious for its complexity and ineffectiveness. In this sense, the Agricultural Cooperative has tried to clarify the distribution channel and reduce its length. However, there still exist much room for improvements. The Internet shopping mall specific for agricultural product, therefore, is drawing much attention because it can reduce the length of distribution channel drastically and improve effectiveness from the distribution perspective. To test the validity of such Internet-driven shopping mall, we gathered questionnaire data from the Internet based Hannaro Shopping Mall which is run directly by the Agricultural Cooperative. We performed experiments respectively for the two groups of operating personnel and consumers. Experimental results showed that several important factors can be identified which are significant statistically and deemed to have meaningful relationship with performance variables. Our results also showed that the Internet shopping mall has a great potential for improving the effectiveness of the distribution channel of the agricultural products.

이제까지의 생산 시스템 컨트롤은 여러 개의 계층을 통해 상위 컨트롤러가 하위의 컨트롤러를 관리하는 계층적/감독(hierarchical$^{ervisory}$)컨트롤 방식이 일반적이었다. 그러나 생산 시스템의 규모가 증가하고, 이를 운용하는 컨트롤 소프트웨어가 복잡해짐에 따라 전통적인 계층적/감독 컨트롤 방식은 몇 가지의 문제점을 가지게 되었다. 첫째, 계층간의 관리 구조가 복잡해짐에 따라 현장의 생산 정보가 의사결정을 하는 상위의 시스템에 즉시 전달되지 못한다. 이는 실시간 의사결정이 필요한 많은 컨트롤 문제를 야기시킨다. 둘째, 생산시스템의 레이아웃 및 운영 방식에 변화가 생겼을 때 컨트롤 소프트웨어를 신속히 수정하기가 어렵다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 수평적/협동(heterarchical/cooperative) 컨트롤 방식이 제시된다. 이는 신속한 의사결정과 변화에 따른 수정이 용이하도록 가공, 조립, 물류등 생산 시스템의 여러 단위 요소의 자율적인 컨트롤러가 계층이 없이, 서로 동등한 입장에서 협동을 통해 컨트롤이 이루어진다. 본 연구에서는 수평적/협동 컨트롤 방식하에서 조립 시스템이 가져야 할 기능과 컨트롤 방법을 제시한다. 아울러, 조립 시스템 컨트롤러가 다른 컨트롤러들과 교환하는 정보 및 컨트롤 대상을 규명한다.
