Most local governments operate Mobility Support Centers to provide transportation convenience for the transportation vulnerable. A Mobility Support Center makes various efforts to improve the mobility of the transportation vulnerable. One of them is the operation of a Special Transportation Vehicle (STV). On the other hand, during implementation, problems, such as insufficient number of vehicles and high demand, have been found. Nevertheless, improving the service by providing a large amount of STV can be a problem in terms of the budget. Therefore, it is necessary to gather opinions of the users and identify the problems during the utilization of a Mobility Support Center. Moreover, it is necessary to improve various services to achieve a better and more comfortable utilization. In this research, SEM was used to analyze the importance of the Mobility Support Center for the transportation vulnerable. The importance and performance drawn and examined through an analysis and questionnaire survey were used to propose IPA results that consider the importance and performance at the same time. In addition, this research also suggest a service improvement priority based on the analysis result. For the analysis, this research conducted a questionnaire survey on the actual users and their guardians who use STV in Cheonan-city, as well as factor analysis and reliability analysis. The results showed that the 'Charge system' is not affected by the service because it is fully satisfied by the low price when compared to public transportation. In addition, 'Vehicle use' is more important than 'Convenience' service. IPA analysis showed that it is necessary to improve the priority, kindness, waiting time, and call center response for the better and more comfortable utilization of Mobility Support Centers for the transportation vulnerable.

In this paper, we study the methodology to improve productivity and transportation efficiency simultaneously in the manufacturing environment of injection plants which has multiple injection machines arranged in parallel. In general, the post-processes such as finishing are continuously arranged in the injection machine located in the lower level of the injection plants, and one or two workers in charge of post-processing are always arranged. Therefore injection plants have low productivity due to post-processing and the front of the injection machine is very crowded due to various logistics flows. In this paper, we propose the designing methodology of conveyor structure for integrating the post-processes arranged at each injection machine and transporting the injection products to the integrated post-process automatically. Specifically, we propose the models for computing the number of conveyor units into the integrated processes, and for finding the optimal combinations to connect each machines and the conveyors. The proposed model is for the total productivity improvement, which are productivity and transportation efficiency. By applying the proposed model to companies that produce injection parts used for the home appliances, we verify the applicability and the effect of improving productivity and transportation efficiency, which more than 40%.

The 4th year medical students were randomly divided and designated as group HF and LF, representing high and low fidelity simulations respectfully. Both groups performed OSCE on 2 topics(adult intubation and IV cannulation) with each composed of the same scenario. Each scenario was developed by a faculty in charge of clinical skill education with supervision from 2 other faculty members. High fidelity simulations were designed as in-situ simulations in real OR. Low fidelity simulations had the same scenarios but the environment was simulated only with a simple task trainer in the classroom. All students participated in series of survey using a Likert scale before and after the simulations. The provided data was anlayzed with paired T-test and Mann-Whiteney test(p<0.05). The post simulations self evaluation score for group HF was lower than pre-simulation self confidence score for both topics of adult intubation and IV cannulation where as for group LF, it was lower only for adult intubation(p<0.05). In group HF, the needs for clinical training on both topics increased after the simulation. In group LF, there was no significant change of needs for clinical training between pre and post simulation survey. This suggest that fidelity may be a helpful factor to improve the motivation of the students and further study on economical aspect should be addressed.

This study was performed to solve the problem of the 2nd contamination and excessive treatment cost by determining proper quantity of hydrogen peroxide, iron catalyst, mixing method, and input mode that should be provided when Fenton oxidation (this is mostly applied to small contaminated areas such as service station sites) is applied to the excavated and diesel-contaminated soil. Soil artificially contaminated with 10000mg/kg of diesel was used for the experiment. In the batch test, diesel removal seemed to increase as the concentration of hydrogen peroxide increases. When iron catalyst was added, removal efficiency of diesel was much higher than the time when hydrogen peroxide was added solely. The removal efficiency showed greater when Fe(III) was added compared to Fe(II). Column experiment was executed on the basis of results of the batch test to investigate adequate reagent mixing and input methods. The highest efficiency was acquired in the case of separate input mode. Also, it was found that when inputting Fe(III) iron catalyst and separately inputting hydrogen peroxide after dividing the bundle in the column, removal efficiency was 92.8%, which was 9 times greater than that of the first method, 10.5%, when only hydrogen peroxide was added. Thus, it is expected that if the result of this research is applied to Fenton oxidation for the remediation of soil contaminated by diesel, the problem of the 2nd contamination and excessive treatment charge caused by excessive addition of hydrogen peroxide and iron catalyst could be solved.

According to a research analysis of the factors which affect the medical utilization fee after an increase of health insurance benefits for patients with serious illnesses based on 225 patients over 6 months, both before and after the increase of benefits, from January, 1st, 2005 to June 30th, and also from January, 1st, 2006 to June 30th. In terms of genders, 67.8% of males were affected, whereas only 32.2% of females were effected, a much higher rate of men than women. Men also had higher rates before and after the increase of benefits. Out of 5 categories related to medication and treatment, radiation testing was the most expensive at about 5,300,000, operation fees were 590,000, and costs of other testing approximately 200,000 with the least expensive category being 120,000 for medication. By looking at the relationship between the fees and increase of benefits, medication was a hospital charge (p<0.01), injection fees were hospital charges (p<0.01), operation fees were hospital charges (p<0.01). Medication fees (p<0.01) and injection fees (p<0.01) were found to be related.

Frozen milk products are commonly made in small refrigeration machines. R-502 has long been used as a refrigerant for soft ice cream machines, but it is being replaced with R-404A due to the issue of ozone layer depletion. However, R-404A has high global warming potential, so it also needs to be replaced. In this study, a mixture of R-290 and R-32 was considered as a new refrigerant. An optimization and performance evaluation of the mixture were conducted for a freezer volume of 2.8 liters. The focus of the optimization was the appropriate refrigerant charge and the opening of the expansion valve. At the optimized conditions, ice cream was produced in 6 minutes and 24 seconds with the mixture, and the COP was 0.83. For R-404A, the ice cream production time was 6 minutes and 22 seconds, and the COP was 0.90. The results may be used for the design of food refrigeration machines and to optimize other refrigeration cycles.

Although studies evaluating the effects of the blasting vibration on the adjacent structures from various angles have continued, cases of securing the safety of the adjacent buildings and researching the proper blasting method for the field condition by analyzing the vibration waveform of the measuring field while performing the open pit blasting are poor. Therefore, it is necessary to present a remedy for blasting pattern selection through test blasting that is appropriate for field conditions, and is economical and efficient. In this study, open pit blasting work was conducted based on the separation distance applied according to the standard blasting method by test blasting and the vibration regulation standard in the road expansion construction site to measure the blasting vibration value, and the vibration prediction equation by blasting methods was examined using a regression analysis computer program to calculate K, N, and R of the confidence level 95%. By setting the blasting allowed vibration standard of the test blasting target area to 0.3cm/sec, and the charring weight and blasting method by the separation distances according to the blasting vibration estimation equation of the open pit blasting guideline and the blasting vibration estimation equation of the test blasting were compared/analyzed, it was possible to identify the factors that increased the working expenses. In addition, the measurement and analysis of the adjacent structures during open pit blasting and the blasting vibration were performed after selecting the most adjacent structure to the open pit blasting spot to analyze the problems on the test blasting procedure and analysis method in the open pit blasting design/construction guidelines, which appeared in the process of completing open pit blasting construction, and a remedy is presented.

One of the missions of active-duty units in charge of managing reserve forces is providing combat supplies to reserve forces to exercise their combat capabilities quickly when declaring a mobilization order. Rear area active-duty units must support large local reserve forces. On the other hand, military units have difficulties due to a lack of forces and the storage of large quantities of firearms and ammunition. For this reason, local reserve forces should move to an integrated storing place and receive their firearms and ammunition. The existing distribution plan (existing plan) is a first-in-first-out plan that can produce inconsistent distribution orders. The inconsistent distribution orders can increase the complete distribution time, which will affect the combat power of local reserve forces. Therefore, firearms and ammunition should be distributed quickly. Accordingly, this paper proposes the priority selection of firearms and ammunition for local reserve forces with a minimum complete distribution time using Dynamic Programming. To verify the proposed model, the existing plan was compared with the proposed model using real data, and the result showed that the proposed model outperformed the existing plan.
Purpose - The structure of retailing has changed as retailers develop markets in response to business environment changes. This study aims to analyze the general situation of retailers in order to predict future global strategy using case studies of overseas expansion strategy and the Metro Group's global strategy. Research design, data, and methodology - The backgrounds to the new retail business model and retailer classification are analyzed as theoretical data. In addition, the key success point of the Metro Group's "cash and carry" strategy is analyzed as is the Metro Group's global CFAR (collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment) strategy. Finally, the plan for cooperation and precise forecasting under the Metro Group's supply chain management are analyzed from the promotion environment viewpoint. Related materials analyzed included the 2012 annual report, the Metro Group's web page, and a video interview with the executive in charge of global strategy and the new market development department. Some data were revised to avoid disrupting essential aspects of the case studies. Results - The important finding was that the Metro Group could be a world-class retail company with its successful global expansion strategy. The Metro Group's global strategy's primary goal is to have a leading business position in Eastern and Western Europe. The "cash and carry" strategy is highest priority in its overseas expansion strategy. Moreover, the Metro Group has standardized product planning capacity, which could be applied in various countries with different structural and cultural backgrounds. This is the main reason that the Metro Group could rapidly become successful in the Eastern Europe and Asian markets through its structural overseas expansion strategies. In addition, the Metro Group emphasizes the importance of supply chain management. Conclusions - First, retailers should create additional value through utilizing the domestic market, market power, and economies of scale to launch a global strategy to maximize benefits from diversification. Second, the political, economic, and cultural background of the target country needs to be understood to successfully implement the overseas expansion strategy. Third, the main factor of successful cooperation with a local partner is how quickly the company gains total understanding of the business resources and core competence of its partner. All organizations should focus on the achievement of goals in order to successfully operate the partnership. Fourth, retailers should improve their business, financial and organizational structure. Moreover, the work processes and company culture should also be improved to respond strongly in the competitive global market. Fifth, the essential point of a successful retail business is the control capacity of its branding and format. The retailer could avoid forecasting errors through supply chain management by perfectly distributing the actual amount of its inventory. In addition, the risks along the supply chain are effectively shared between the supply chain partners. Finally, the central tendency of the market is to gain in strength with this taking place across all parts of the business.

The purpose of this study was to learn the impact of creative action and locus of control on the self-leadership among RN-BSN students. 135 RN-BSN students participated after being told the research information. The results were as follows: first, mean of locus of control was 1.42, creative action was 3.26, and self-leadership was 3.63. Second, the differences according to general characteristics for the variable of locus of control, workers at hospitals were higher than non workers. For creative action, and self-leadership, those over age 30 and charge nurses rated higher than those below 20 and staff nurses. The last, locus of control and creative action had influence on the self-leadership. The conclusion was that if each nursing organization wants to improve its nurses' self leadership, it must consider nurses' locus of control, and creative action.
