The survey subjects were male and female consumers ranging in age from teens to those in their fifties. An online survey was conducted, and 627 people were analyzed. Version 26.0 of SPSS was used to perform a t-test as well as frequency, correlation, factor, reliability, and regression analyses. As a result, both Hanbok involvement and arousal seeking tendency derived four factors each. All four factors of Hanbok involvement had a significant effect on Hanbok preference. Two factors of arousal seeking tendency had a significant effect on Hanbok preference. Hanbok preference had a partially significant effect on Hanbok purchasing behavior. Hanbok involvement and arousal seeking tendency had a partially significant impact on Hanbok purchasing behavior. In conclusion, this study is meaningful in that it, for the first time, derived the factor of Hanbok involvement by considering the concept of involvement as it relates to Hanbok and identified that involvement and arousal seeking tendency are variables that affect Hanbok preference and purchasing behavior.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of oral health awareness and oral health behavior on cardiocerebrovascular prevention behavior in a cardiocerebrovascular diseases risk group and provide basic data for a nursing intervention program for the group. Data were collected from 131 people in the risk group of cardiocerebrovascular diseases living in J Province in February and March of 2018. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that preventive acts were positively correlated with subjective oral health state (r=0.261, p=0.003), importance of oral health (r=0.250, p=0.004), and practice of oral health (r=0.303, p<0.001). Moreover, acts to prevent cardiocerebrovascular disease were influenced by oral health (${\beta}=0.29$, p<0.001), age (${\beta}=0.27$, p=0.001), and subjective oral health state (${\beta}=0.24$, p=0.003). Specifically, scores of preventive acts for cardiocerebrovascular diseases increased with higher degree of oral health behavior, older age, and better subjective oral health state. These variables had an explanatory power of 19.3%. The results of this study imply a need to prepare measures to enhance the oral health level of the risk group of cardiocerebrovascular diseases and conduct ongoing follow-up studies of the perception, attitude, and behavior of individuals toward oral health, as well as the state of oral health.

In the correlations, health promotion behavior was negatively correlated with life stress (r=-.289, p<.001), but it was positively correlated with coping with stress (r=.539, p<.001). The factors influencing health promotion behavior were stress coping (β=.439, p<.001), happiness score (β=.251, p<.001), exercise (β=.172, p<.001), unbalanced diet (β=.125, p=.002), life stress (β=-.121, p=.005), and eating breakfast (β=.083, p=.046). • The purpose of this study is to provide informative statistics which can be used for effective Diabetes Management Programs. We collected and analyzed the data of 666 diabetic people who had participated in Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in 2007 and 2008. Group classification on management behavior of Diabetic Mellitus is based on the K-means clustering method. The Decision Tree method and Multiple Regression Analysis were used to study factors of the management behavior of Diabetic Mellitus. Diabetic people were largely classified into three categories: Health Behavior Program Group, Focused Management Program Group, and Complication Test Program Group. First, Health Behavior Program Group means that even though drug therapy and complication test are being well performed, people should still need to improve their health behavior such as exercising regularly and avoid drinking and smoking. Second, Focused Management Program Group means that they show an uncooperative attitude about treatment and complication test and also take a passive action to improve their health behavior. Third, Complication Test Program Group means that they take a positive attitude about treatment and improving their health behavior but they pay no attention to complication test to detect acute and chronic disease early. The main factor for group classification was to prove whether they have hyperlipidemia or not. This varied widely with an individual's gender, income, age, occupation, and self rated health. To improve the rate of diabetic management, specialized diabetic management programs should be applied depending on each group's character.

  • This study examined the relationships among levels of knowledge, attitude and preventive behavior regarding tuberculosis in service workers. The survey period was 1 - 7 October, 2015 with service workers who work in large scale stores in Jeonnam. The collected data were analyzed using an independent t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficients using the SPSS WIN 12.0 program. The mean score for knowledge about tuberculosis was $14.05{\pm}6.39$, the mean score of attitude toward tuberculosis was $29.87{\pm}4.89$ and the mean score of preventive behavior for tuberculosis was $31.44{\pm}4.86$. Preventive behavior was found to have significant relationships with gender, marital status, smoking, job satisfaction, and subjective health status. A slightly positive correlation was observed between the knowledge of tuberculosis and the attitudes toward tuberculosis. A positive correlation was noted between the attitude toward tuberculosis and preventive behavior for tuberculosis, while there was a negative correlation between the preventive behavior and age. Therefore, is necessary to consider the related factors for the development and implementation of systematic education programs that can encourage and promote preventive behavior for tuberculosis among service workers.

To this end, research was conducted with 330 parents of infants aged 1 and 2 in 55 day care centers located in J city and I city, Jeollabukdo. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural model equation analysis were conducted using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. First, the results of the structural model equation analysis showed that the infant's temperament had a negative correlation with leisure and guidance, while it had a positive correlation with activity and impulsivity, which are external manifestations of their social and emotional behavior. Father's involvement in child-rearing had a negative correlation with the adaptability and mood aspects of the child's temperament, and also with general anxiety, an internal aspect of his or her social and emotional behavior. Social and emotional behavior had a positive correlation with the approach avoidance aspect of the infant's temperament. Second, according to the results of the analysis of the route between the variables, infant temperament was found to be a significant route, having a statistically negative correlation with father's involvement in child-rearing. The results of this study showed that infant's temperament and father's involvement in child-rearing had effects on the infant's social and emotional behavior, and suggested the importance of having a proper understanding of the educational implications of the father's involvement in child-rearing, in terms of its effects on the infant's social and emotional behavior.
